What do you think? Although there's no computers if there's no one who really created it but mostly nowadays computer can do a lot in just seconds than humans do. In terms of calculations they are really good at it. What do you think of it?

No. Humans are far better than computers. Computers can do computations fast, but it's just because humans programmed them to do so. Depends on what the task is. The computer is way way better than humans in terms of the calculation side. Oh, we all heard that the human brain is like a super-computer, but still I prefer to use Excel's function than doing it myself. Better for us humans to just take advantge of this fact. Remember that the computer can't decide for itself what to do with itself, it just follows our orders. [tenzen]

Computers are much better than humans,they dun need to rest, they fast, accurate, they never make a mistake unless given bad info,u can take them anywhere with u , and u can do a lot with them and be more productive with ppl not so much. I don't think computers are better than human. Who did built the computer in the first place. The computer cannot do anything unless a human being program it to do it. They are better in terms of mathematical computations but when it comes to decision making and being creative i guess it is the humans there that excel. We might be considered slow in terms of making or designing thing but we do create those including the PCs. So I believe humans still are better than the computers. [rsa101]

no, in fact it is the contrary. computers are just dumb boxes created by humans. if computers are not so dumb why do you think programming is that hard. while compared to teaching a kid, kids learn a lot easily. computers only do things we humans instruct them to do but beyond that they cannot think with their own, they cannot decide for themselves. true that they do calculate stuffs at an amazing speed but what good are all those calculations if they don't have meanings. humans make meanings out of those calculations, the computers merely assist us. so don't worry about computers replacing us, they never will. Computers can only do what there programmed to go, and cannot grow intellectually, and are useless without people. They wouldn't exist without people, and it was the human mind that wanted those fast calculations. Plus-Humans can turn off a computers"life" and never turn it on again if they wanted. They are vulnerable, and there usefullness is to the humans minds and needs. They are a portal, and to are advantage, and humans can choose to live with them or without them. Of course humans are still greater than any of the computers ever invented. Computers are very good at certain things which like you said, they take like nanosecond to solve the most complicated problems, while human could spend the whole day just trying to figure out the problem itself. But still, computers too have their weaknesses. At least a personal computer has a short lifespan! An average computer guarantee is merely three years. They die before you do. Hehehe. [nufoundglory]

Humans are definitely better since it's us who created these machines in the first place. And a computer or a machine is also totally useless on it's own. It's like it won't survive without humans, but humans can survive without machines or computers.
