frankly speaking i only use computer when i was 24 years old. sounds weird but it is the truth. we don't have computer subjects during my first college. i don't know how to used computer until my cousin taught me how to surf the net. 5 years later i buy my own computer, that's the time i start learning how to use microsoft word and so on. now i have a little knowledge of computer.

responses and comments:
I started using computers 18 years ago when my computer is the slowest XT version. I am using my 6th computer. Previously, we use dot prompt and still no windows yet. Knowing that is useful because i use my computer not as a typewriter but a tool to learn. [everlasting]
you are lucky enough because at your young age you already used your own computer unlike me, i started using computer when i was 22 years old already. [julyteen]
I first laid my hands on a keyboard some six years back, then I was at my sweet sixteen and that was a basic computer course which covered Microsoft Office and some other not so important things. I got my own computer four years back in the first year of my college. Since then, it was a pleasant and motivating journey. [marquisdesade]
during my colleges back 1995 we have computer literacy subject but we never used computer at all instead we are taught by our professor about electronics. far from the descriptive title of the subject. LOL [julyteen]
I started to use the computer when I was 16 years old. I was in 4th year high school then and we have computer classes. But the only program that I've learned was wordstar and lotus123. LOL. But I've learned to surf the net when I was taking up Caregiver training course. We have to do research for our report every week. [dhangski]
wow! many of you here used computer at your younger ages. how i wish to go back to my teen age so that i am more aware about how computer computer works at that time. [julyteen]
i started to use computer when i was 11 years old.... at that time, i do not have my own computer. i used my aunt's computer at her home...when i was 12 yeards old... i have my own computer which brought by my father....i shared my first computer with my brothers... only until i was 16 years old have my own computer... [p3y5566]
there is a great advantage to know how to used computer at your younger age than later but in my experience i will assure that i can compete with some people used computer at their younger age. [julyteen]
I use computer when i was 19 years old.It is wrong to contact them,Because i wasted most of time on it.At last,i don't have a good mark at college enterance exam. Now,i am busy for my school record. [seeforback]
yes i agree, computer can be addicted specially if your are a new user. [julyteen]
I'm better than you because I used computer when I was 34...ten years younger than you...LOL!!! Sorry julteen, just kidding you for the word 'younger'. I used to buy my own laptop in 2003, and it is a common happening where to get it started just like when I learned how to ride a bicycle. Need guidance from my referrer at that time...just imagine...riding a bicycle...sometimes to the left and next to the right. Left Right Right Left.....boooom to the bushes. At the beginning I learned about word program, excel, power point, photo editor and to this second I can build up or establish new website(Frontpage). For those who want me to build up a simple static(non-flash file) website for their conventional business with homepage plus 4 pages of link pages, I charged them MYR500.00(equivalent to $164USD). And now I'm learning for e-commerce program. [EddieAzman]
wow that's nice but it's not too late because you know better on computer than me. [julyteen]
I was sixteen years old the first time I used a computer. I was at college studying Business and Finance (Shipping and Transport) on a two year course. I put all my fingers down just like I was used to using a type writer. All the keys went down at once and it was embarrassing for me. I was helped by my lecturer how to use a computer over the the duration of my course. I was nervous of computers though. I began working at a shipping company in London when I came home from being a children's nanny in Finland when I was eighteen years old. I had to use a computer for my job, sorting out exchange rates and booking cargo. I hated using the computer and was glad when I left on my trip around the world two years later. After being away traveling for just over one year I came home and began my Teacher Training and degree in English Literature. I was told to use a computer but I didn't know how do very much and I only typed off assignments if I really had to. I had no interest in learning how to surf the Internet. When I began my first teaching post in 1999 I was told to learn how to use a computer. In 2000 in the half price computers for teachers I bought my first computer and slowly learned how to use the Internet, email friends and in 2001 I felt knowledgeable enough to teach my class in an ICT suite( computer room). Last year I bought a laptop. [maximax8]
a very nice experience. having your own computer is better than using computer in your younger age without having your won. i already know more about computer when i bought my own. [julyteen]
Well, I was already 48 in 1995 when i got my first Hewlett Packard Computer with the first Windows Operating System on it. I can't even remember the name. [Browisn]
yes i always came across with nonsense post and only 1 sentence. they want to increase their number of post even without sharing good ideas to their friends. [julyteen]
you may not believe it but i started using computer late last year.happy and i am now 36 years old. good thing my brother is a computer technologist so he is teaching me how to operate the computer and i am also a self taught but i really know how to type coz it was one of my major subjects.happy i got interested into computer when i finally decided that i want to have my own family and i always wanted to have a foreign husband, and i always thought that i can only meet a foreign husband when i go online dating. and that was also the time when my mum decided to have an internet cafe and now my youngest brother is the one managing the shop. well, it was mum's gift for him. [hornetlover]
sounds funny but i think it's really your story, even we are now on the computer age but huge number don't how to operate computer. we are lucky enough even in our late years we know how to used it. [julyteen]
when i am 15 years old.... but i dont know how much to do it until my friend and my sister teach me on how to play computers [skywolfcel]
yes many children curious about computer because of different games but me i am not curious on different games but the different programs that computer can give to all individuals. [julyteen]
At What Age You Start Using Computer? when i was 16 years old i already using the computer when i was in high school. [bugbaby]
Too young compared to me. Your lucky because at your age you already used computer. [julyteen]
i have used the computer about when i was 17 i think. but i was not really using it that much. i only used the computer a lot when i started to use the computer for internet use. cause i really don't use the computer much for school work. cause it i really don't know how to use the computer before and i hate the computer. cause it is really boring. even with the internet around i find it boring too. cause i have no success in finding romantic relationship on the net and so naturally i will not enjoy using the net. but all things changed when i have learned how to use the computer for my advantage. i mean the internet. but i will like to have success too in the internet in finding relationship which i was hoping to fin in the internet in the first place. but i think though i will never have success any more in finding relationship on the internet and so i think that i have to give up my hope of finding some one special through the net. maybe it is not just my destiny to find some one on the net. or i may find it outside the internet. or in real life meetings. [hotsummer]
This post was made 9 months ago, any updates come from you with regards to finding a relationship on the net? [julyteen]
To be frank, I started using computer just before three years. One of my friends taught me how to use computer. Even though I don't have good computer knowledge even now, I've a website now on my name. Raja Franklin. http://www.rajafranklin.com [Raja_Franklin]
Congrats for having your own website. I know how happy you are aside for being well aware of using the computer and the internet. [julyteen]

Well I started using computer just 4 years ago. I din't even know the abc of computers. But now after 4 years I am now using my 5th pc and am a professional web designer and a hardware technician. [Wickedself]
Today it is not important at what age one starts learning computer but one is compelled to learn it, with whatever little knowledge, as with the advancement of computer technologies it has clinged to every thing and it is necessary to have some knowledge of computers, whatsoever, insignificant it may be to have a breakthrough. [azh123]
I only started using the computer about 2 years ago. I started to use it because I wanted to sell some stuff on ebay, at first I would only ever go on the computer for that too. Slowly though, I started to become a little more interested in the things that I could find out on there and so started to spend a little more time on it, but it was only this year when I became a member on myLot that I started spending much more time on a computer. [gemini_rose]
i started using computers when i was four years old. i've basically grown up using them. kinda glad about it, too. nowadays everything is so focused on computers and technology, its hard to get around them. [PyroBoy89]

[apples99]
I first used a computer in college as well. I was 19, computers have come a long way since then. [ladym33]
I started using the computer when I was 6 years old. I'm 14 now, and a software programmer. The computer skills came easily from watching my dad do everything. [kosstr12]
I started using the computer when i was in about 4th or 5th grade:) I'm pretty knowledgeable on it and know what im doing. [xomgitskamax]
i start using computer at 10 years old ... because it was very useful for me .. to use .. =] [godpower1k1]
I was 3 years old. I know thats sound young, but my dad is a computer technician. So, thats why I started so young! [RJONES8]
when i was 27 years old i first started using computer in my college. It was real fun at that time waiting for my turn to get computer. [smartbrain69]
Let's see...we got our first computer in 1999. I was 49 at the time. We've been addicted ever since! [estherlou]
i am much older than you and i am old enough to be your dad, if you think you are way late on learning how to tinker with your PC, wait until i tell you this! i just learned how to get into the grind two years ago.yes, year 2006. I did not se the need to learn the gadget until my friend gave me an IBM thinkpad laptop. so , i don't have any choice but to learn how to use it by myself. i read some basic stuffs on reader's digest then moved on from there. now, i am into internet marketing and learning some more on how to earn real dollars on the net and not just doing cents and a few hundreds of dollars through postings, clicking and other stuff. [tigerdragon]
The first time I used a computer was when I was 6 years old. [kellys3ps]
too young like the picture you have in your avatar. LOL [julyteen]
i was like 5 years old when i started using it. just about 12 years ago [lostboiii911]
so you are 17 years old now. your lucky because you used computer at your younger age unlike me. [julyteen]
I have my own computer back in 1992. It was Intel AT 286. The only installed operating system was MSDOS 3.3. I use WordStar and lotus a lot. the only game was tetris and pacman. it have 16 mbyte memory and 20 mbyte hard disk drive. [clickicy]
i started at the age of 13. now im 21. i started gaming early days. but it changed my proffesion to mantainence work of computer. [rony1masc]
I started using computer when I was in high school. It was a required subject in our school and I need to pass it. Though I really find it hard to operate the computer that time, I still manage to get over it with the help of my friends. [nengs10]
I started using computer when i wasn in 3rd year high school that was year 1993, i remember that was summer i enrolled vocational course. subject LOTUS 123 and DBASE , are you familiar on that? that was computer subject before, there's a lot of command you need to memorize even you just want to open your file, there's specific comman on that, even deleting files. HuHHHH... too hard compared to the present. [010477]
Hey, I think i started using the PC when i was 3 or 4 years old. I remember my dad used to hook up his cabinet(the flat ones) to a TV screen and fire up a software which helped to learn ABC(Yes, the english alphabet). It used to be so much fun. I also played a bit of dave and started playing DxBall when i was 5 or 6 years old. I feel so happy to have been introduced to this wonder machine for 12-13 years now :D [velah1]
I started using the computer when I was about seven or eight years old, when the OS was ms-dos.It was hard to use it. [ilovemit]
My best guess is that I was around 28 when I first started using a computer. My employer purchased an Apple IIE for our office. [newtondak]
I was in class 6th when computers was introduced as a subject in my class.I would have been around 12 years old that time.Though, it was only basic, explaining about the hardware architecture of computers and DOS, that was the first time, i started to learn about computers. Then it was after 2 years when windows were finally introuced. Even my brother bought a PC in 1999, so that facilitated me in improving my hands-on practice ont he computer. Though, i wished to take computers as a subject in my 11th standard, but didn't take it as i was focussing on IT entrance. And it was finally in 2001 only when i was around 16 years old, when i came across internet and started using it? you can say, i got addicted to internet that time. But anyway, i have got habitual to using computers now and being a software engineer, i can say i am proficient in using computers.. [vipulchawla]
i also frankly speaking that i also use computer wen i was 22 then i bought the computer i also dont know the computer i learnt it myself [AMRITASONI]
I started using the computer when I was in grade six, I was around twelve years old when I first tried using a computer, but that was just for encoding and the computer's operating system then, as I remembered was still windows 98.rasp I was able to use the computer with internet connection when I was in high school. First year high school to be very exact, that was around year 1999, when everybody was so scared that the world will end in the year 2000! LOLrasp but we usually do the internet for chatting through MIRC. I chat with my older friends.. we save up our allowance and chat in the internet café. We were so carzy about chatting then. Right now, I haven't chatted for a very long time!hahahahalol [austere]
Although I was 22 when I first started using computers, the experience has been valuable. I started with an Apple IIe in college (monochrome monitor, 5.5" floppies) and moved up to an IBM XT. I learned how to build and repair both Apple and IBM platforms. Although I primarily use PC now, I still am able to help with both platforms, which enables me to assist my colleagues at my school. I love playing with computers! [redcat65]
We've had the internet since I was 9 or 10. And i'm 20 years old now. [trashMONSTER]
I was 26. My hubby taught me on a MAC. And now it is old hat.But I find there are new things to learn every day. It has become part of my daily routine to use my computer. [ersmommy1]
As matter of fact,I start use computer when i was 10,it's amazing, isn't? But it's totally true. I program using BASIC,it's a kind of computer language,do u guys know it? It was a very very primal computer, a black and white CRT, no hard disk, just 4MB memory, no video card, also no mouse. can u believe? yes,it was definitely. [tivonshi]
I started using computer 20 years ago.I was at college studying computer.I put all my finger down just like i was used to using a type writer. All the keys went down at once and it was embarrassing for me.I was helped by my lecturer how to use a computer over the duration of my course. i was nervous of computers though.i began working at a shipping company in london when icame home from being a childrens nanny in finland when i was eighteen years old. [kaikai2009]
I began to use computer in my fifth grade. I remember that I used Windows 95 at that time. I never used Windows 3.1 nor Windows 2000, NT and ME. The computers I used were Windows 95 and 98. I'm currently using Windows XP and I'm learning to use Ubuntu Linux. I'm not going to use Windows Vista because all the computers I have are 7 to 10 year old. [robbychen2009]
I started using one when I was in 5th grade. just basic computer class. they taught us how to type and play games. About 13 I had a KPro4 (anyone remember those? It was my first computer!) that my dad bought used... well used! I used it for typing assignments. At 14 I had access to the high school computers and stared getting familiar with the net. And by 15 I had a 'real' computer that could surf the web and send emails. I've never really looked back from there! [MommaBast]
I was in my forties and it was a Tandy. Yes the one in which you insert a cartridge. I even made a few games for it, using a tape recorder. I do not know when I started to use a regular IBM. But our first computer was a Dell and at that time, it was mainly Dos. Then there was Windows 3.11 and I went from there. I was fifty at the time, and for a time, we shared one computer. It was not until four years ago, that I was able to save and buy my computer. Before I got my husband's old computer. I am not good at fixing up the computers after I have to wipe the hard drive, so I try not to format the hard drive. But I would say that I am an intermediate user. [suspenseful]
I first got my hands on a computer when I was only 12 years old. And since then, no on can ever get me off it! [SomeGuyAnth]
I was 30 and the computer was at work, no one thought about having their own at that time, there was no internet and all the programing was very complicated. [savypat]
I was seven or eight. I could only use it at school, because we didn't have one at home intil a few years ago. [Bd200789]
Hello my dear julyteen Ji, Well, as I recollect, it was when I entered in class XI. We were introduced and I had a afeeling. have a graet day.rasp [shalu1975]
I was twelve when I got my first computer back in 1998. I got it for Christmas along with some cool games. Then I was introduced to the internet. And I have been hooked ever since then. I found my way around the internet pretty quickly, since I'm a fast learner. [Xdrowninghavocx]
So you are over 30 at least now ?I start use computer when I was a high school student , we have computer course .But I learn only a little in calss ,until my family have the first computer the year later , but we don't have internet that time . in college , I begin to touch computer very offen and I learn many different kind of computer and internet . Now I even can't live without computer, I work in computer and I shopping on line and so on . [lily3753]
I was probably a similar age as you. We didn't have computers when I was at school so I went back as an adult and studied. [vegegirl]
When I am still 7 years old. I'm 21 now. The time when DOS commands is what you do and Pentiums are still not available, monitor is green, compact dics is I think still not invented, printer is dot matrix and is really noisy, monitor is small, CPU's are really heavy and huge and it's lying down,. Is that too young? I play games in my dad's computer using floppy discs. I used the internet when I was 8. Computer subjects are taught when I was 9, and I find it boring, because I know everything my teacher is teaching. [trishasantos]
The first time i touched a computer i was in seventh grade. There was an old monochromatic computer in the corner of my home economics class. It had BASIC programming language on it. i toyed around with it and taught myself a little bit of BASIC. i played games on a few computers my senior year in high school. The new machine had Windows 3.1! lol It wasn't until two years later when i was in college that my cousin had her own computer and i began "learning" about things such as the internet. i got my own computer three years after that. And the rest is history. [drzeuss]
I think I was 10 or 11 years old, we use computer in our school, then my father gave me computer set when i was in highschool. [LaurenceCruz]
I am not sure how old I was but I had already been teaching and when there were free computer classes offered through the school system, I decided to take them. I have repeated some of those classes and still feel that I am not all that proficient at the computer. I think I was in my 30's when I started on the computer and bought one about 10 years ago. I am in my 50's now and wish I knew more about how to use more of the features on it. The difficult thing is that things change with them and you have to keep up with the changes just as you have to update your own computer. I have a fairly newer version but can't use all the newer things on it so it is lost on me. I was thrilled to go to a laptop, but right now it needs to be taken to a shop for someone to look at it so I can maximize what I do have. [idowrite72]
Hi,i started learning computer skills when i was in my junior middle school, about 13 years old.We had computer classes twice a week. Then i learned it. It is not weird to learn it at your age.Because computer is not so popular at that time,i guess. My aunt is starting to learn it now.She is nearly 40.When she was young, there's no condition for her to learn it.Now she types slowly, but i am sure she will getting faster soon.^^ [liuqian]
Its good be confident and cause u new person in computer learn about dos and operation system so if there's a virus or your system broke you can fix it. never stop to learn [f14_0105]
I started using computer when i was 13. I always wish to have my own high perfomance computer which can play any games with no lagging and smoothly. [fokusmylive87]
if i can remember well, i first saw a computer in my first year in the technical school. but that was only, when we were taught of the basics of the computer. i guess i was 18 at that time. but when i got totally in control of the computer, i mean can already use the wordstar and started to use the printer was when i was 24. happy (neildc @ red/89/1639) [neildc]
I started using my first omputer at age 18, had to because it was for work purposes and I like the job...sine that I have become a nerd as I watch the computer evolve from DOS to wins, to windows Xp and still growing [gtdonna]
as far as i remember when i was in grade 4 we have a computer class, were using ms dos format.. as time passes by became windows..then i became an internet addict at the age 20.. i just really love to surf and surf on the net.. i enjoy it a lot..it became my daily routine... [shen25]
I've started using computers when I was 11-12 years old.. I went to my father's job and there was a computer there and I try to touch it and I see that the mouse doesn't have the rolling ball inside, so I thought that It will never work without that ball.. After that I started to learn little things in privates computers schools.. now I have 23years old.. [Anchopy]
I first touched a computer when I went to the high school, almost 9 years ago. I followed an informatics profile so I had the chance to use computers. But, until my first informatics lab class, I've never touched a computer before. [stvasile]
The first i recall using a computer was when i was in grade 2 - I would have been about 7 years old. We had a specific recess slotted to play number munchers. It wasnt until i was in grade six however that we had regular computer classes with typing and such. After that i spent many hours on the computers at school playing games and using the internet. Now I'm a computer technician and I still spend MANY hours with computers. [saundyl]
I studied computer programming when i was 23 years old and after i married i stop using computers,my interest started again when my friends started to ask my email address and i don't have any address to give.I am afraid to touch any part of the computer, coz i might destroy it.My friends laugh at me and they told it will not harm me.I started using again the computer ten months ago...I should say im enjoying using my pc and gain back my confidence also using the computer. [dong1970]
that was also my feeling when i come across with my new computer i am afraid to touch some parts or explore some programs because i am worried it will destroyed which a very wrong perception we must need to explore to know more aspect on what computer could give bring to us. [julyteen]
It is a past now that i used my first touch on a keyboard at the age of 8. But i came to know about computers only at the age of 18. Then it is non stop. I have achieved cash and pride with my computer. Lots of paper presentations and lots of movies and fun with my computer. I love games too. I have played lots of games with my pc. Thanks for the discussion. Happy mylotting. [xorticanz]
when there was no internet yet i love my computer to play different games but when internet comes i am addicted to make money online. all the games was uninstalled. [julyteen]
I stared using the computer at the age of 17. We had computer courses in school earlier than that but I don't use the computer at home. I just really started using a computer when I was 17 when we first had an internet connection and that time chatting on the Mirc and emailing were the only things that's nice with using the computer. [kidjuwee]
are you a masters of computer right kid because you know how to used computer when you are 17, might be you are very curious about the programs. how many years you engage in money making online? [julyteen]
I started using a computer a very young age.... around 5... back in 1988. My dad had one and I had two older brothers. It was an old Tandy 1000 that didn't do much, but I always enjoyed typing random keys on the keyboard. [jmarquis]
wow! too young you already used computer. you are very lucky because you father one while you still 5 years old. are you good in computer right now? [julyteen]
my daughter is only 4 and she is already good in using computer. she likes to play games and sometimes watch videos of her favorite celebrities. i believe most kids today are already smart enough at a young age. my daughter just watches me at first then she goes on by herself. it's good that young kids are smart but they still need the older people to guide them since there are lots of porn sites scattered on the web. [marisriel]
i don't know if it is right to allow you kids to used computer at their younger age because they are exposed to radiation from your screen. 7 years might be best for a child to used computer rather than 4 years old. [julyteen]
I started using computer at the age of 9 years when one was purchased for my elder brother. Not exactly using, as my only concern then was to play the games...lol We had MS-Dos then, later windows 3.1 or something like it. Since then I have learned so much about it in practical....actually I have the credit for crashing my pc at least two times. Something I am proud of for It too taught me some lessons. About net....I can't say anything, many people still confess that they know nothing about it. Seems general to me. [hora_fugit]
i am not smart in using computer and also internet, i learn a little like the basic command and now i am practicing how to make blogs. you can check it on my profile. you are lucky enough my friend because you know computer at 9 years old. how i wish i used computer when i was 7 years old. maybe i am an IT right now. [julyteen]
I think I was about...8? We got this keyboard that you plug into the TV and turns it into a computer. HOWEVER it never saved anything, so you needed to type in commands every time you went to use it. Never did anything amazing, but it sure was addictive for a couple of kids. [jsmith12]
even too completed kids never mind on the difficulties. on their mind they can play. [julyteen]
I didn't start using a computer until I was about 22 it was an Amiga 1200 which I used mostly for playing games on but I also used it as a word processor for typing out my novels at the time, my first real home PC was when I was 27 and I was like a kid with a new toy, it was the same time as I first got connected to the internet, I wouldn't know what to do if it went wrong, but I do know how to use Xcel, powerpoint and Word etc because of my job I used to do. [wolfie34]
atleast i know how to used excel, powerpoint, make slide shows and many other programs on my computer. i love picture editing but when i was connected with internet, it was change! [julyteen]
I am only 21, i have been using computers since i was around 6 or so, it's great how times have changed and these skills are also taught in schools it is basically second nature to me now and i can't even remember being intimidated by using a computers, i like to wonder what advances in technology will occur while my son is going to school. I can't believe how things have changed since my mother was a child compared to my childhood years. [dont_pick_your_nose]
it means you are good in all commands in your computer. you are aware of all computer commands at your younger ages, maybe you know most of the programs. technology is useful to us now. [julyteen]
hi, i've started to use the computer when I was about 7 years old. It was the time where there was no windows yet and all CPUs were the bed type. Back then I learned how to use DOS and I was playing with games from the 5 1/4 floppy and the 3 1/2 floppy. (are my numbers right?). I remember the games from back then.. and now 14 years after I am sill using computers, lol. I could say that I practically grew up in computers [jessej9]
hi friend, i start to using computer at my age of 15.take care have a nice day. [vimaal]
wow, younger than me! [julyteen]
I was thirteen when I first start using computer. I was a fresh man in high school and we had a computer subject. I don't know computer at that time. So, when the first day of the class in computer subject arrived I was nervous. My teacher asked if we know how to use computers and all of my classmates answered yes. I wanted to say I don't know how to use a computer but I feel ashamed. I don't even know how to turn a pc on. Since, then I worked hard to be knowledgeable in using computers. [katkat]
better you are not called to show your classmates how to turn ON the computer, maybe you will frankly tell that you don't know to turn it On. LOL [julyteen]
I started to have computer training as a subject when I was 15. After the school, the subject stopped. I was off computers. I started using it again when I was 22 or 23. Thats when we bought a desktop for our home. [anuraa32]
hope you have a great time learning the new course material. Agreed though, we always keep learning new things. I am supposed to have taken a training of MS Office package but even now I keep discovering new new things of the package. [anuraa32]
Does this question not include the time when I first learned how to use computer? Anyway, I officially started using computer when I was 23 years old. I worked as an editorial assistant and I had zero knowledge about Microsoft that time. When I was in college I studied word processing using DOS. So when I finally got my hands on Microsoft windows I was a total idiot. I turned off the computer by pressing the power button and everytime I opened it I always see the message "windows is scanning..you didn't shut down properly.." Anyway, I must say I am privileged to have used Microsoft Windows 93, 95, 97 and onwards. (say mo?)rasp But I don't have anything to brag really because until now my computer knowledge is still intermediate even after 10 years of using it. doh [Jemina]
I see. I think you're more than ten years younger than me. You are so very lucky indeed having a computer and an internet connection right away and you are very smart too because you know how to make your online activities profitable. [Jemina]
i started using computers when i was still in high school.when there was still notepad and the need to memorize loads of commands just to make a small post. it was really that hard and inconvenient. with the advent of net connection in our place, nothing can really compared with my happiness. i avail of the service by paying that much in the internet cafes where every hour would lost me a couple of dollars in your conversion. [flagella08]
i also started learning more on computer when the internet exist. You can explore anything on the net than learning in a limited command. [julyteen]
When I was 12 years old,I start using computer.Just half then U. [PRIYANK1992]
wow to young for you. Recently more kids know already how to use computer even in their nursery age. [julyteen]
I guess you can never learn alot about computers unless you own one... with the high rental fees it is so expensive to learn, by the way I learned to used the computer when my uncle gave me her old pc i was so grateful for that... because it was kinda old it usually breaks down so i learned a lot of troubleshooting which is a great relief for me right now since i manage an internet cafe [jackieroz_02]
Hi there July. I think it was back in 1996-1998 when i got my first computer. I guess i was about 9-11 years old, but i must say i don't remember exactly the year. I just loved the games i played back then like Age of Empires, Starcraft, Diablo 1. I also learned, apart from games, various stuff on my own, or with taking glances at one of my relative which is really good with computers. I had the internet only later on, when i was in 11th grade (just for Christmas i got a dial-up modem) which luckily i managed to change to a better one in about 5 months - i think it was in April 2005.
