i sometimes do. especially when a deadly deadline is fast approaching. so i eat lunch or dinner in front of my pc. and my husband scolds me for it. just the other day, he went "i was starving but i waited for you so that we could eat together and then you chose to eat in front of that thing?" and sulks the rest of the day lol. i do not eat in front of this thing if i can help it, i'm just forced to do it because as much as possible, i don't want clients waiting on their orders to be uploaded to the system.

Every once in a while I eat in front of the computer but I don't like to make it too much of a habit. I like to take a break for a while and eat in the kitchen. Sometimes I will eat a little snack if I feel like I need to complete something at the computer but I usually have something cold or hot to drink on my desk. I have been eating in front of my computer almost every day for the last three weeks. I have also been working 12 hours days 6 out of 7 days each of those weeks, so I haven't had a lot of choice in where I eat. Unfortunately, before this work schedule became so crazy, I did snack while at the computer a couple of times a week. I think that when I do eat at teh computer, I have no concept of how much that I have eaten and I tend to overeat. Not good! [bam001]

And I can't help it but think that that person just sits in front of the computer and just do mylot and nothing else. It is not good to eat and drink in front of a computer or any electronic/computerized equipment.thumbdown It could damage the equipment if you spill liquid onto it or if you drop food/crumbs inside them, it could attract insects and pests that could damage it as well.sad I have been an administrator and I have warned people from eating and drinking near computers. This is totally a terrible habit for me. Hello kayedanda, No, I don't eat lunch or dinner in front of my pc. I eat snacks infront of it but not lunch or dinner. I know clients are important and I think most understand if there some delay due to lunch or dinner break. Maybe I don't know the importance of the work you are doing but it is also ok to eat lunch or dinner in front of your pc just to meet deadline. It is not possible to do it at work because you are not allowed to bring any food in the office. If you need to finish some you either skip lunch or dinner.
