Yes, as a matter of fact I do own a flat screen computer. A pretty big step up from the monitor I had before. Now, when you say flat screen computer are you talking about the monitor itself? I do have a 20 inch screen monitor which is relatively new. I do listen to music from time to time but rarely. There are a set of earplugs that can be plugged into the speakers next to the monitor if I would like to use them. I don't really like to plug them in my ears too much because I am also a stay at home mother and don't want to tune out things that are around me. I hope you continue to enjoy your flat screen. There is nothing like it and when you get one you won't want to go back!lol. As a matter of fact it took me a couple of days to get used to it because it is so much wider than my previous monitor. You know what I just brought some ear phone and it will come in handy because my husband is always telling me to cut the music off he doesn't want to hear it, so my earphone will come in handy for that. yap you are right compare with CRT LCD is much more lighter , but not sure about your country is that expensive not, because in my country use to be very ex,but now almost the same rate as CRT .LCD not even the screen flat at the back of the screen are totally Flat too. so you save up a lot place ,Now my CRT at 17inch is a litter too big for me, if i get 20inch Lcd i still got a lot place left . I have the old, conventional monitor, rather than a flat screen. They seem more robust to me, and they're what I'm used to. I don't know why, but I never really fancied the flat screen... that comes with my laptop. I used to play Launchcast Radio on my computer when they put your station on Yahoo Messenger, but that's all changed now, so I either load a disc into my modem player or I listen to music I've downloaded to Windows Player. No, I don't have a flat screen...but it's definitely on my wish list!! The monitor I have right now is huge. It's nice for viewing, but it's so bulky and takes up a whole lot of my desk space. My brother got it for me back when I had the cataracts and all that...it was (and is) a real blessing! I don't listen to music when I'm on the computer. Most of the time I have a talk show on or something. When I do have music on I'll stick one of my cd's in, or I'll listen to the music on the weather channel. It's pretty dang hard to put a tube monitor on a laptop. hahahahaha My husband had a flat screen monitor, and now needs to get a new computer, all the equipment. I have a 20 inch flat screen monitor at work. It's pretty cool because I get to open many windows all at the same time and not worry about getting lost - I need them all because of the nature of my work. I don't usually listen to music when I'm in front of the PC working, I don't know why but I used to. I have been Lucky enough to own a Flat Screen monitor for a while now, and they are the Best things out there for sure. I used to have a 17' but about a yr. ago I updated to a 19' inch screen which seems to work just fine for me. Especially when I decide to play a Game or watch a movie on it as well. [KrauseHome]

I have an HP 22" lcd and I love it, it has a hard shield for a little more protection of the screen. The part I like the most is the space saver comparing the old big and heavy monitors with a great deal of radiation and gives me static everytime I try to touch the screen. Yes we have a flat screen and I love it. When we went to pick out the new comp they were all out of the 19 inch that came with the package deal we were buying so they substituded a 22 inch for no extra charge. that was pretty cool. Its funny because I didn't have any problem with my old monitor before, but now if someone else is on the new comp and I have to use the old one it really sucks LOL (and yes I listen to music when im online.) I bought my computer a few years ago, and yes, it is a flat screen. I like that it is not big and bulky, and takes up little space on my desk. I don't know the dimensions of my screen, but it is big enough for me to see, and small enough to fit nicely on my desk. No, I don't normally listen to music while I am on my computer. If I do, it is my MP3 player and not the computer itself. The only time I do listen to music while I am on my computer is when I am downloading music. [lynnemg]

I have a 17 inch flat screen but not widescreen. I think flat screen is look more beautiful than CRT monitor and not use too much space in my computer desk. So I can add another thing like scanner or speakers. I like too listen music with my computer, sometimes I listening music while I doing my job in computer. I use media monkey as my music player. I using flat screen computer from my office. Around 8 hours i using daily flat screen computer, as flat screen is very good in compare to old normal screen monitor. But in my house i using normal moniter screen comuter. Flat screen not only looking good in shape but also clear and good colours as compare to old monitor screen. Hi marciascott. I've got a 26" Samsung HDMI (2693HM), it's good for everyday use -- but to be honest, I think it has a problem with color tuning. I'm beginning to see why the Apple Cinema displays are charging more money for their displays. You can play decent games with this monitor too, because it has 300ms response time, although I don't imagine that a hard core gamer would use this; anyway it's good enough for me. Yes, I do listen to music while I'm on the computer. I'm a big fan of iPods, and recently the iPhone -- But I prefer to hear the music with traditional hi fi speakers, so I got the Airport express, pipe the iTunes through them, and out a home theater system, it's a good setup. I do have flat screen computerat my place..but I am never home :-/ So I use my boyfriends laptop and very slow and old PC at my moms place which doesn't have flat screen. I listen music only if I sing along so I search for lyricks at the same time..I don't listen music at all if I am not singing,I don't listen radio ever and barely ever listen for cds once or twice in month I go to local night club and there I may hear some music I like from 90's :-) [I_am_me]
