My hubby will only go online just a little bit. And then its in the front room and looking at the sports headlines. I wish he would come surf with me every once in a while. I will find this interesting discussion or fun website or crazy picture somewhere or maybe a test or quiz just for the fun of it and ask him to come look with me and............forget it. Always busy or got something else to do ...tired..etc.

There was a time when we only had one computer. My husband dominated the dang thing. I told him that he was to either share the computer or buy me a new one. Well, he bought the new one and gave me the old one. Still not happy, I griped about the computer that he gifted me was a piece of crap. Cannot get hubby involved. Showed him what to do while I went on vacation last year and he just didn't do it. He will look over my shoulder sometimes but he just does not sit down to compute at all. He might play solitare though. Oh, well, I use it plenty. paying bills, emails, sites, surveys, occasional chat. Can't imagine sharing time with him on this computer. My husband uses the computer in his room, my daughter uses the computer in her room and I use my laptop on the couch. Frankly, I don't like it when he sits and watches what I'm doing. He questions every picture on every page, like I put it there. He asks about every word I type. He even assumes that I know everybody in here personally, lol, it's enough to drive me crazy. We used to sit and play our Hoyle Casino game together. And sometimes we'd take turns in pogo, although I suppose we could all meet up in there from our own computers now. We spend some time with our daughter on her pc, she is only 5, but really very good with her computer. I have a desktop computer and my husband has his own laptop. Sometimes he will use my computer because he just doesn't feel like using his laptop. I have two computers in my office... a desktop and then my laptop which only I use (since it's for my work, I guard it like a hawk and don't want the family surfing on it LOL). My husband uses the desktop frequently, both for helping me with work if I need him and also for his own interests. He spends a LOT of time surfing for information about the unit his grandfather served in during WWII because he's very interested in Military and military history. He also does a lot of reading about long-haul trucking. Since we're usually in the same room, we often do the "hey look at this" or "listen to this" kind of thing. Funny thing, too... sometimes I'll have my laptop upstairs and he'll be on the computer in the office. Very seldom does my husband get on my computer as a few years ago it got to be such a problem that we bought a lap top to go with our desktop. We've come to an agreement tho... as long as he doesn't drive me crazy whilel I'm trying to work I now let him stay up "ALL" night doing his habbo and faketown at least one night of the weekend. The answer to your question would have to be that we fight over how is going to get on first lol . We both love the internet . We have another one upstairs for the children but don't have it hooked up as yet , they alawys want to be on also , even my three year old will cry that it is her turn . I believe that the people out there who don't enjoy the internet has to do with the fear of something they don't understand and don't realize how easy it is to get any info off of the net and how quick you can do it . There is something for everything on here no matter what there interests are .
