Hi ,friends ,this is a very normal questin,but i am still a little curious,how long can you sit in front of your computer?
As for me,i usually sit in front of my laptop for more than ten hours each day.I have just quit my job,so i have tons of time to post on Mylot and make money online.I usually can sit in front of my computer all day without feeing even a little tired,you can say i am addicted to work with my computer.And I feel good.Of course ,i know this would be very bad for my health,but i always forgot the time when i concentrate on my computer,so for now,i just let it be.

Nowadays it is hard to survive without a computer.I had to work with a computer at office and I also love to be active in Mylot while I am at home. So,it is approximately almost 8 hours..I spend so much time in front of computer.It also hurts my eyes sometimes..So,when it hurts I switch off my computer and take a nap.It really works.sleep [tuyakiki]
Hi,thanks for your sharing,lady. :) You said it,gazing at the computer long can relly hurt our eyes,so,switching off our computers once in a while to prorect our eyes is very necessary,you are very thougtful.Anyway,i think,sitting in front of a computer too long is indeed a bad habit,we should often leave it for a while and do some exercises,that would be less harm,and we can use our computers more happily . I can easily spend a lot of time on my computer. I really couldn't say exactly how much time, but I can easily say that I can spend several hours on my computer. Nowadays, we're somewhat dependent on out computers, either for work, for homework, or simply for our own pleasure. [dodo19]

I believe we kind of are forced to these days, with technology being so big. Even while at school you are basically in front of a computer all day. I too have to do a lot of stuff in front of a computer all day so don't feel like your addicted or anything. [luvandpower]

that is not a big question for me as i sit all day long till midnight and sometimes even till early morning continously i get so engrossed in my work here that i dont keep a pa e of time that has passed by.and i love to be here at any number of hours. [Archie0]

hi fishkingback.. I only sit in front of in the computer at least 2-3 hours sometimes 2-5 hours but i also tries 24 hour ones.. when i was addicted with online games I don't often use the computer because sometimes i am not satisfied using our personal computer.. because my brother usually use the computer just waste to play his stupid games in the net.. just wasting of electricity and a long bill and hi doesn't help at all.. I hardly hate my brother with that.. its so shameful that my mother hate me if i gonna use the computer for long hours even if i wasn't playing, its a big disappointment for me.. she doesn't support me either when it comes in computer thing... it will be just fell good to me if i have my own laptop to grab it anytime i want.. and there is no worries to be.. thank for opening this kind of discussion.. i can express some of my feelings here in mylot that is why i love here in mylot more power to all.. happy mylotting [remurt]
Hi,remurt.I used to play the online games a lot and spent tons times on it,but as you know,it is a totally waste of time and we can get nothing from that at last except the harm of our health.I didn't mean that online games are completely useless,we have to adimt,they can entertain us ,but we should play it with measure. just a few hours per day is enough for me because i have chores to do at home and if i sat here all day then nothing would get done...i generally come in here in the mornings, then maybe at night if there's nothing happening on telly, also i might pop on to my pc if i am bored but i don't spend all day on it... i think i spend at least 10 hours with my laptop on daily basis, i got a freelance writing job and i have to deliver articles on daily basis, not 1 but as much as 10 and at least 5 so i got to get busy or i wouldnt get paid for late delivery, and when i add websites like mylot to it then i have to spend close to 11 or more hours [tundeemma]

Just like you i do sit for more than 8 hours on computer doing work and fun at the same time. I usually download some movies, upload videos, photos and share it with my family and friends. I do chat also with my family back home and i do online work while i enjoy to eat food and drink beverages while at work. But i do have to keep my time strict since i also do household work. I clean, i wash clothes, cook food for my hubby and take care of him or attend his needs when he comes home. So i see to it, that all my clicking of ads and blogging is all done and i can have time for him. It is also rewarding to work online because you manage your time. Only important is that you have a nice internet connection that will not hinder you from doing your work. I don't tend to stay much time on Mylot, although i always see to it that everyday i log in and check my friends and do leave some messages or post some answers to questions if i may be able to relate on their topic. I think i can sit infront of the computer for the most 10 hours and that is the most i can do so.The last time i did so was to finish up my assignments and it took me 10 hours to complete all four sets of assignments.As for surfing and playing games i can last for atleast 5 hours and then i need to take some rest to relax my eyes.SOmetimes overdose of using computer will damage the eyes badly and health will be severely affected. For me, I have no problem sitting in front of a computer all day. I enjoy it most of the time. I also depends on what I'm doing. I'm somewhat of a computer nut so I have no problem with it. i'm a full-time writer and i have daily deadlines so it's inevitable for me to sit in front of the computer all day, everyday. but what's great about my job is that i don't have to do my work inside a four-walled room all the time. when my vagabond spirit demand for it, i can easily pack my laptop and hike to the park, the beach, a coffee shop, or anywhere at all and submit my finished work online. but like in every demanding job, i find the need to get up and stretch my limbs, take a walk and a breather for a few minutes every couple of hours. those breaks allow more room for ideas to set in. :) [bagnet]

Hi Fishking. I work as a software engineer in an IT firm, and so my job starts and ends with a computer. So most of my time during the day is spent on a computer either in the office or at home. I suppose i work on the computer for almost 9 - 10 hrs a day. And i have seen that it has started to take its toll on me. The first few outcomes being increase in tummy size, increase in spectacle power to just name a few.... But i never seemed to get bored of the computer and i am like addicted to it.
