me my whole life or my whole time i spend in my computer in my situation i always stay at home. when i wake in the morning i open the computer then after 12nn i off the computer from take a rest then after 1 hours or 1 hours and 30min i open again the computer meaning to says i am computer addict.. in my calculation 9hours of my time i spend in computer, what about you share your story are you computer addict how many hour are you spend in computer. this is my hobbies surfing internet what about you.. share yours... story

i spend my whole time in the computer, when i was alone in the house, and i turn it off if i want to eat, and back later, but if i have my family in the home, compose of mother, father, brother, to give way to them, and do some house work, because i always in the home. [Preciousgem]

I am tittle bit addicted to internet and computer,but i always put limit on my internet and computer usage.There is a proper time table for me on the net.In the morning i spend one hour on the net and in between my job i spend two to three hours.Now am working as a network mengineer in a software firm.In between my work i get lot of free time.If i get any free time mi like to spend it on mylot and other money making sites.Now a days gaming and Internet addiction is a growing problem facing many families, couples, and individuals both young and old. My normal internet surfing every weekdays is 6 hours and every weekends for more than 10 hours. But, I have still time to take a break and eat my breakfast, lunch and dinner. no matter how interested i am in doing my online activities with internet. I will not sacrifice my health in a few cents of clicking. i also check my emails from friends, do some research and live listening to music radios on the internet. [neelianoscet]
I am addicted to computer as well. I spend daily 9 hours on the computer at work and then go home and play my favorite games on the computer for another 5 hours. I try not to overuse but often do not succeed. I once played Halflife for 24 hours at a stretch and passed out after having a bout of fits. After that incident Im wary of using the PC too much. I now stay out the whole weekend so that I do not use the computer anymore [yashumgm]

The majority of the time that I am in the house, I spend on the computer ... I might be doing other things at the same time eg watching tv or eating or tidying my room, but I will still have the computer on for something or other. The amount of time I spend on the computer depends on the time I get up / go to sleep, whether I have work that day, whether I have plans with friends. Some days I can be on for an hour to just check my email and daily things. Other days I can spend a full day on the computer from when I wake up to when I go to bed eg if the weather is bad or I am ill and have nothing else to do. [Elixiress]
I do not know exactly how many hours I am spending from computer but it is true that as I do not have offline job right now I am either searching it on internet or chatting with friends online. My brother says I am addicted to computer so have to accept it. [magicalangel]
Basing it on what I do every day, I guess I fall under the same category as yours. I also spend most of my time in the net. I use the net for social networking purposes and even for investment reasons. I do participate in a lot of money-making opportunities in the net and it requires 24/7 attention. hello there.. well, i don't really know how many hours i spend with my computer especially when im in the university..but still im an IT student, so im always in front of a computer doing some programs and etc..but i think, when we don't have classes, i think i spend time with my laptop for over 12 hours, coz i open it around 8 or 9 am in the morning, then i turn it off around 11pm to 12am midnight, or sometimes i don't turn it off when im downloading something.. I would not consider myself an addict, but the problem is that I have nothing else better to do! So to keep myself busy, to keep my sanity and to have something to do, I turn the computer on to do the things I like: jigsaw puzzles, send and receive emails, write and whatever else I can find! Hello jen14ed, I only spend like 2-3 hours daily online though I am always online during my office hours. I am pretty busy with my work and if there is a spare time, I will definitely spend time surfing the net. Right now, whenever I can access the net during my spare time, I prefer to log in here and see what is going on... [gr8life]
I spend roughly about 4 hours a day on the computer to take care of my on-line business. I could quite easily spend more time than this, but choose not to do so and have a rule to not stay on any longer than that. I know how addictive it can be, because as a therapist, I have actually had clients consult with me about being addictive.
