In an average per day that we spend doing anything with computers like going online, surfing the net, doing some income generating activities, chatting, or whatever you're doing each day with it. How many hours do you spend in front of this man's great invention?
As for me, the time I got my laptop. In an average per day, I think I spend 5 hours per day doing everything from games, chatting, emailing, surfing and participating in income generating sites.

Except of my sleep time, I think I almost online whole day long normally. When working time I need pc to complete my tasks, then after work back to home, sure I sit in front of pc. I can't imagine that if one day my life without pc... how suffer am I? [wanyit]

i have a laptop too,and i m used to spend 3-5 hours per day to surf the internet ,mostly email,chatting,mylot and surfing,sometimes i play video games with my friends.i think everybody would better not spend more time in front of the computer or television,thats no good for u health,especially your eyes.i know some office clerks use computer whole day,if i were them,i whould not choose the job like them.after all,health is more important than work [duochao]

I am 15 hours per day on the computer. The other 9 I'm sleeping. And no, I'm not getting fat, my eyes don't hurt, or any of these stupid things. I used to play a lot but now I spend most of the time programming webapps. I know this may sound like a joke, but it isn't :] The latest days maybe I spent 1-2 hours playing Left 4 Dead, but that's all my playing history nowadays. I also used to program desktop applications, but didn't do that in one month. Webapps amaze me, and I think the time should be spent in making amazing webapps, each time more amazing, awesome, incredible, good, interactive, and user friendly. PHP is my favourite programming language. I type at an incredible speed [more than 10 letters per second], so I like typing much too. I am extremely good at discovering bugs, too. I have beein going on like this for many years. I also like blogging, commenting, and watching cool videos. I am getting addicted to e-mailing lately, but each time chat less. You may think this all is time wasting, but it isn't. I am very good at 10 programming languages. The operating systems I like are Ubuntu and Windows 95. I sometimes use Windows XP [and tweaked it to boot in only 5 seconds, though my Windows 95 can beat that easily] I don't like Windows after 98 because they integrated it with Internet Explorer and that takes a lot of RAM, though XP is a bit okay. The browsers I love are Netscape 4, Firefox 3, and Opera. I love the new HTML 5. I have a Wacom tablet, two desktop €1800 [total of €3600] computers from Packard Bell, I have two 22" screens, three laptops, a Bluesky mouse, and lots of programs. No, I'm definitely not crazy. i actually keep watching television and also be online doing some mylotting and checking mails and clicking ptcs so i just dont concentrate more at one place and hence i need to spend more time front of laptop to complete for the day but if i continuously do online earning thing i would spend about 2-3 hours continuously and stop for the day and when i concentrate more than one place i would take double the time. that is how it happens i usually cant do online continuously as i have a child to look after, i need to cook and all those cant be done on time if i sit front of laptop for loner time. so accordingly i do it. Someone once told me that you shouldn't spend no more than 2 hours on the internet. I find that very impossible to do. i spend like 8 or more hours a day. Gameing is so easy to get hooked. I write for Associated Content as well as Triond and Helium. I have also created a couple of blogs. I just don't know where I would be without my computer. Hello mchavez11, I average about three hours per day online using my laptop. I only have a dialup connection and so I only do mylot, some PTC sites, read emails and news when I am connected online. Internet revolutionize exchange of informations. It did not replaced paper information, it just improve it. Video and sounds are it's most important contribution. It also make the world small because you can reach immediate family member who have emails and connection to internet like they are just around the corner. I think there will be a lot more that can be done on the internet, it's just that you need a faster connections always. But I am ok with my dialup now. I think I spend too much time in front of my computer. I work online so it's mandatory to stay 9 hours a day in front of the PC. At home I stay another 2-3 hours, depends on my mood.
