I think today many people are addicted in computer and internet. If one day these two things are not available any more, what will be your interests?
Perhaps I will spend my time doing some polymer clay as I like it. I think I am talent to do it. Today the computer and internet really occupy lots of my spare time.

I've come to rely on the computer and internet for almost anything I need to do regularly. I think I will get some kind of withdrawal symptom if these are taken away from my life. Without these, I think I will spend more time doing my scrapbooks of my previous holidays. I used to do these until electronic scrapbook and photo album software are available, so without these, I will go back to the manual way, and do cut & paste and designing on physical albums. I will also probably read more newspapers, magazines and journals to gain knowledge and keep up with the news. I have come to depend on the internet for much of the news nowadays because there are so many sources I can easily get my hands on from the internet. [lexus54]

Like the others who have already responded, I too would concentrate more on reading, I think I would probably pay a lot more attention to my studies than I do now and get a better feel of the subject rather than skimming relevant areas and moving on. Ya i do agree on that... These are infact wasting our talents........... When I was 10-15 years age I didnt know what computer is.. At that time i had hobbies like painting, making craft things, playing with friends..... and lots of other stuffs.. At that time we were mingled with nature... But now I used go for Badminton, TT, Chess, Cricket... but rarely.... Most of the time is occupied by internet and computers......... [ranjiths]

Hello there. I do not think that I am addicted to computer and internet. However, it's undeniable that it has become a very important part of my life. If I have no computer or internet, I would most probably be listening to music, doing cross stitch, watching tv, swimming and running. =D [poohgal]

Hi youless! You are right about that. People nowadays are into the computer and the internet, and I am just one of them. If there will come a time that the internet and the computer won't be available anymore, I guess I will find myself doing different crafts, such as handmade/handpainted cards, boxes and make my own designs for the boxes using beads,ribbons and cast figures. You are right.eventhough iam not a computer addict i spend lot of my time in computer only.Being a working girl i spend more than 5 hours in my office working in computer which is job related but when iam back home i spare atleast 1-2 hours in computer for mylot and yahoo mail /chat. Most likely, I would do the same thing that I did the last time my computer broke down. I spent six months with my infant daughter and we really had a great time bonding. I am so happy that I did not have the computer during that time to distract me from her, because she changed so quickly and since she was recovering from being in the hospital, she needed me almost every second of the day. If she did not need me, then perhaps I would watch more TV or take a college degree if I had the time. And, I am sure without the Internet in my life, I would most certainly have the time to do so. Funny that you should ask this question. When Hurricane Dean hit us and we had no electricity I read all the books I had puton hold and started studying for exams. Would you beleive it that I have exams in January and I have not begun studying? I know this is bad but when I get home I just get on the internet and talk until hours or write unitl I am tired. I am a bd student I know but I study on my own which makes the difference. I will pass those exams though because I am going to study and work hard because I need to be successful. But if there was no internet, tv or computer I woudl read alot and play with my child outdoors more often. [Sharon38]

Wow, if I did not have the computer and internet, I'll probably be seen drawing a lot. I like drawing, and I've been told I'm not half-bad at my art, so I guess I'll be perfecting my craft. We, writing has always been my passion and I had been this thing even when the internet is not yet around. When I am still without a computer, I use my typewriter for typing. So maybe, that is what I will do if in case the computer and the internet would be gone. I may also pursue my other interests like hosting, singing, song writing, etc. So you see I would still have many things to do. [hersmart4ever]

well thank God im not that addicted! well i always manage to be online for a maximum of 6 hrs every weekdays and i dont open the computer during weekends[it was quite hard at first!]. I will have to go back and start using my typewriter and I would not like it, having to keep all those pages with my novel written on them and since I would not have a computer, how can I copy my novel onto the typewriter? I would have to start from scratch and by memory. Also my husband does not like too much junk around. I might have to start making up recipes, and that would lead to eating more. I certainly would not be able to make any money though. So it would be hard. [suspenseful]
