Ok hands up those of you who talk to your computer?
Hands up those of you who shout, scream and throw obscenities at your computer?
and finally hands up those who are surgically attached to their computer and treat their computer like their best friend and wouldn't be parted with it for all the money in the world?
Thank you!
Is your computer human? I sometimes wonder, I sometimes wonder when it knows you've had a bad day, it decides to play up, go mega slow, crash or decide to have a mind of its own
Do you get angry with it? Because it is not doing what you want it to do?
Do you abuse your computer?
Have you ever broke or smashed your computer through pulling the plug, throwing stuff at it or worst throwing it on the floor in anger and disgust?
Do you have a love hate relationship with your computer?
Ok this is Wolfie the psychiatrist lie back on my couch and tell me about your relationship with your computer!
Ok For computers out there who have had enough of abuse from their owners there is help believe me!!!!!
Somewhere out there there is a hostel for computers that have been bashed, treated badly, abused and completely abandoned...

For me it's not either i love it but i could live without it for a little while without any big loss. I would miss my email and my buddies but i dont have to go on the computer everyday. [dont_pick_your_nose]
for me computer is the best friend of mine because it gives me information all the time in all matters [sags2008]
For me my computer is a big necessity for me, and if ever it's lost, aw man. I want to be a programmer, so whatever the situation may be, even if it trips, go on hanging, slow down, crash, BSOD my face, I still love my PC. Sometimes I shout at it, ram it really hard, scream "DAMMIT WORK!" or "NOOOOOOO!!! THAT WAS OUR THESIS DOCUMENT AND IT'S NOT EVEN SAVED!!!". I share a lot of my experience with this computer. But my computer is not my best friend. It may have been there for so many times in my life when I am down but... Okay, he's a good friend. WOW! 10000 posts??!!! *bows down* [ishralene09]
Thank you for sharing! The amount of times I have done work in the past and not saved it and then CRASH! It's like OH NOOOOOOOO plus a lot of $$!!!£$$$$$£ too!!! [wolfie34]
Hahahaha Sweetie I have been known to kick my Computer lol and hurt myself more then my Computer, yes there is times my Language is not very nice to it either but it did not have to go to the Computer Abuse Center yet lol, but there is still time But I have to say I have never broke one lol as I need it to much to keep sane lol and of course to see all my Friends here Love and Hugs to you xxxxx [gabs8513]
I remember whamming my playstation because of not running smoothly. Same with my playstation 2. And no, not with my PSP and PS3. Hehe. [ishralene09]
Computer is my bestfriend it make my day complete so I love it to use it that make my knowledge outside world enrich and colorful. [GilbrosTMPro]
Mornin' Wolf-like Guy! Ooops, forgot you're so many hours into the future, so good afternoon. happy My hand is not up because I don't talk to my computer. Uh... why would I talk to my computer? w00t There's a rare instance when it's very pokey and I'll say "Come OOOON!" but that's about it. I don't think of the machine as a friend, no, *but* it does connect me with some good friends so I guess it's kind of the same in that way. I do not abuse it because then it would get revenge and totally rile me! Lie back on your couch?! I don't THINK so! I haven't seen yer license yet, mister! Is a large percentage of your clientele from the... uh... machine sector? shocked [katiedoubleu]
Yep, had loads of chocolate but my computer ate it, now who's abusing who?! [wolfie34]
hi wolfie how are you well what i have to say about my computer is that i am not so much attached with my computer that if it gets crashed i cannot live without that instead i go to walk out in the evening so that i am relive from the stress of the computer iam sometimes dissapionted with my computer because of the stress it puts and the expenses are occured in repairing it [nutanjain]
yes u say right fixing is a real costly business [nutanjain]
I have to admit to having a very strong bond with my computer which is my laptop, and goes with me to all sorts of places. I take it to work, and often switch it on on my lunchbreak, I take it away if in this country, and at home I tend to carry it around the rooms with me. I have alot of music on it too, so when I am not directly surfing, or doing work on it, it is usually on playing my random playlists for me. Up till now I don't think I do talk to it, but this isn't to say I don't as I might just not realise I am doing it. ;) Actually come to think of it I think I do talk to it, when the battery light flashes up and I have to rush off to get my charger and I find myself saying 'don't die, don't die please'.. Hmmm, maybe time for some help for me? ;) I try not to get angry with it, as I used to do that with the desktop, and it seemed to respond by whatever problem I was annoyed with getting worse, so I don't tempt fate anyore. No hostel gfor my pc, as I love it, and wouldn't part with it for anything. :) [eveeee]
Yes we are close! ;) I also get driven mad by the lack of mouse and having to use a mouse pad, but I also have a mouse I plug in. I have to use it when the laptop is charging as for some reason the mouse pad doesn't always work while charging up, so the mouse goes everywhere too :) [eveeee]
I consider my computer my best friend because it follow everything you command him to do. [asm_ph37]
Hi Wolfie, I really have to admit that I love my computer, growing up in a time when there were none available makes me like it that much more. When I run into problems I get mad at my cable provider and many websites when it runs slow, really annoys me alot. Overall I am pretty happy.............Dear Doctor, My name is Dellingo, I am Howard's computer. Howard has just left his desk to get some coffee and pee, allow me to tell you what he failed to mention, he has a nasty temper sometimes and yells at me, since my exterior color is black he never gets to see how I blush with some of the cuss words he uses - it is terrible! He also snacks and gets crumbs on my keyboard, he thinks by just turning me upside down and giving me a few shakes the problem is all solved - NOT! I have also had the unpleasant experience of having the idiot drink diet pepsi while reading something funny and spit splash it all over my face leaving sticky spots that he had to clean off and to make matters worse he was laughing while he was cleaning me up. What a jerk! He slams my buttons on my mouse so hard, no reason for that, the page is not going to download any faster and what about when he moves me around at such high speed that I crash into the side of the keyboard causing a severe headache. Not very pleasant. Oh - I've got to go, he is coming back, please make an appointment for him to see you, he needs to have his mouth washed out with soap. Thank you, bye....Sincerely Dellingo. [howard96h]
Thank goodness the government doesn't have an agency that goes around arresting people for computer neglect, we'd all be in trouble. [howard96h]
I love my computer , I clean it like I would a child :) . I love how it lets me chat to lovely people like you pal , I love how it has given me so many friends whom I have never met but have gotten so fond of , I don't shout at mine pal , If it goes wrong I shout " ROSS" at the top of my voice rasp rasp xx [weemam]
Nothing poor about Ross pal :) he is doing brilliant xxxx [weemam]
My computer is both my best friend and enemy. Its my best friend in the sense i helps me learn a lot, i cant imagine where i would have been with out the knowledge i learned from my computer using internet. If i have a doubt on any subject i can just google it and get the answers in seconds and that is helping to reduce my learning curve by a long way! I earn around $100+ a month from my computer so that's another reason to love my computer. My computer is also my worst enemy at times. The amount of time it sucks get beyond the line at times. I know that i cannot blame the computer for helping me when ever i want rather I should blame myself for not being able to control the time i spend before it. For this reason i don't abuse my computer either! [earncommunity]
HI, Computer is my best friend and i can't live without it. i can't even think of a day without using computer. i uses computer for various purposes like for using ptc, ptr and my lot and for many projects. if i couldn't use computer i feel like iam missing some thing. i think computer is a very good thing and thanks to who created it or invented it. i sit more than 7 hours near the computer and more that 12 hours during the weekends and i depends computer for everything. anyway have happy my lotting. best of luck. [ameenp]
Now YOUR the psychiatrist!! What a huge change in you wolfie I am so proud of you!! I love my computer, I never get real mad at it & I've never abused it {I know what that feels like} lol Sometimes it runs slowly, & I figure I have been on it too long & it needs to rest..lol...so I give it a rest, but not for too long!! I don't want it to thikn that I have abandoned it. It is my best friend, let's me pound on it's key's never get's angry at me for it!!Always has nice things to say to me. I love my computer....Think I need help???? XXXXXLori [dumblnddzzy]
Thank you wolfie!! I feel very lucky too... I just met a new man..he's 36!And is so in love with me, it's not even funny!! We'll see where this goes...Hopefully straight where I want it to!! LOL..Lori [dumblnddzzy]

[chaos99545]
I am surgically attached to it. I go crazy, like a caged animal when I can't log on. There are a few days where I don't and I can't get to sleep. I have a Mac and love it. I used to scream at my Dell and wanted to heave my stinkpad, oopps, I mean Thinkpad against the wall. I hate Windows and the blue screen of death. [Debs_place]
I have a Mac and I have that damn rainbow kiss of death icon that comes up and that makes me SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! But it's a lower tone of scream when using a Mac. PC's I hate, if I had one it would be so abused that it would be in pieces, literally mentally and physically!!! [wolfie34]
I think I'd describe my relationship with my computer as a love/hate. I get angry with it when it's going slow, blame it for my poor typing skill, it's dyslexic you know, but I wouldn't do anything to harm it, they're too expensive to replace. It also takes the blame when I haven't managed to get any work done because it was on and I just had to stay and look after it in case it got lonely or confused. [nannacroc]
for me, it is just a tool for entertainment and communicating with people. [solankiankit16]
Hi wolfie, OUr Computer is my friend and best buddy..LOL! I have not tried saying bad things when it is slow and smashing when it's not working good..LOL! I have not tried also to destroy our computer...But, this remember me of a friend of mine who are exactly doing those things as if the computer hear her..LOL!lollol I believed it's a lot of waste of effort and time..LOL! Anyway, best thing to do really is to take some break! [checapricorn]
auahauha i hands up for the situations! but actually my computer is best friends when it's work correctly when dont lag when dont tilt and somethings more. but this can become my worst enemy when it decided to do something i do not want him to do! i've change my computer for one newer so my old friend has gonna xD i love my new computer like i love the old one he until now do everything i want to do and the only problem 'till now was the mouse because i've used the mouse from the older 'till it broken (some days ago xD) [Scorpionok]
I will admit it, I talk to my computer. I used to be abusive to my old computer; it didn't have enough memory and would often just sit there and freeze, like a deer in the headlights. Sometimes I would slap it, you know, but just to bring it around. lol It unfortunately did not go to a hostel. I ripped all it's insides out and smashed them before sending it to the landfill. Now my computer and I see eye-to-eye. She has lots and lots of memory and a hunking hard drive. I also bought her another hard drive for all the things that drove my previous computer to suicide (like all my Paint Shop Pro files). We have an understanding now...if anything happens, it is all my internet provider's fault. We get on the phone and call them and tell them what for! lol I love my computer and she loves me, too. We're just best friends. My internet provider - well, we're not real sure about them yet. But we have their number! :) [CherylsPearls]
I love my computer. We talked about marriage once, he and I, but we didn't want to ruin a wonderful friendship. There is hardly anyone though that I would rather spend drinking my morning coffee with or reminiscing with into the late night hours. Abuse? Why I could never bring myself to touch a single key on his board without anything but unadulterated joy. Although, I have to admit that I haven't showered him with anti-virus creams or spyware Lotions lately and due to my lack of affection, I did have to reformat. All those programs, pictures and such so lovingly picked out by me and installed by him, but its only material things and we always have each other. Thats what really counts. Don't you thing? Hi Wolfie, nice to see a discussion posted by you. So how are you and your computer getting on these days? [kbourgerie]
Hello my friend, we definitely have a love hate relationship! Sometimes he loves me when I tickle him (the keys!) and other times he hates me because I start getting bad tempered with him and he starts to see my shirt rip and me going green isn't a pleasant site. You sure do look after him and he is a very very lucky computer, in fact my computer says that if I don't treat him right he's going to run off and join yours! [wolfie34]
YES to all of the above. I shout at my computer because I can guarantee that when I do not have much time to play, it will play up for me. It will not load up, or it is torturingly slow or it wants to update and switches off on me. Yes I am surgically attached to my computer, I am now a joke within my family especially when it comes to going out for a day and not being able to get on it. I AM NOT THAT BAD honest, I just need one of those small laptops that I can fit in my handbag. OK I have not smashed my computer or broken it, that is only because I know I cannot afford the repair bill or a new one. I Love my computer Xx [gemini_rose]
My computer is just a machine. One I can do with or without quite easily really. I did without one a couple years back for 6 months when mine crashed. No biggie. As for screaming at it? I haven't done that since I ditched dial up a couple years back. LOL [TessWhite]
If I say the wrong thing the machine might start acting funny. It's a little of both, it has it good days and then it has it bad day. I'm not one that screams or flips out on the machine for not acting right. I try to find out what the problem with it is. Then if I can fix it I do. If I can't then I just do a system recovery. Sometimes I think that it has a mind of it own though. There are days when it just acts funny period and I have to deal with it. I don't talk to it or anything like that I just try to be patient with it all together. That is the most that I can do. As long as it doesn't start talking back to me and the keys start working on there own. I think that we will get along fine. [twallace]
my best friend when i am working because i use it for work, and my worst enemy when i cannot peel myself away from it... [tattylashes]
Both, when my computer wants to do what I tell it to do, it will, if it does not want to do what I tell it to do, then it will not. [rogue13xmen13]
happythumbdownhi wolfie34 yes I do talk to my computer, sh*t being my favorite word as it rolls down just as I started to type here, and at times refuses to obey my commands, then twice it said for no earthly reason windows is now shutting down, here I was typing away in the middle of a response, and say what,it is shutting' down? excuse me. and it did and I had to restart, login and all the rest, and yes i lose the response and had to start over again. But i would never abuse my computer as I love the thing too much.but why would it suddenly for no reason shut down? weird.I could never smash it as I know better than to destroy valuable property of mine. lol. [Hatley]
Oh, wolfie, you are funny today. I do get frustrated when my computer fails to work as it should, but I do not abuse it. I do not talk to it. It is a tool, for me a tool of mostly entertainment. I love the mental picture you have given me, though. [GardenGerty]
i became to b game addict and chat addict since I have m own pc. I used to meet my original friends, new friends and boyfriend on my pc. in fact, my computer is my best friend when I enjoy using it. but it become my worst enemy when I aware that i get less doing other activities such as studying and doing my last hobby; painting ! he he he he [skyTears]
Interesting thoughts here. I actually got a little laugh from this one myself, and can relate for sure. There are those times when you would Love it to do as you asked, and not like it wants you to do. There are the times maybe where your ISP is dragging or myLot site is dragging and you just want to scream or hit something. There have been many times I would Love to hit my Computer as well. Remember Windows ME? Back when I had a Computer with that operating system, it was always a nightmare. No matter what I did. And then my Computer crashed, etc. due to a virus due to my ISP, etc. and I was actually glad to have a reason to get my Computer I have now. Even on the Slow days anything is better than ME. [KrauseHome]
I must say it's all of thee above for it's some days it acts all fine and other days it's slows, boots me where I have to log back into websites and it just drives me nuts. I do scream, hollar, and swear at it oh you bet. I can be right in the middle of a project and it just gives out on me. There are days that it can really be good to as well it'll load up fine, run fine, not give me one problem all day. Those are the days I like and wish I had them more often. [Remembering1996]
As for me, my computer is my bestfriend. Because of my computer, I earn money since my work requires a lot of time in my computer. But of course, sometimes my computer gives some trouble when some of its parts or its software have problems. But it is just normal for a machine. I never treated my computer badly. I always make sure that is is always in good running condition. All I can say is that my computer has been a reliable buddy. [jackal1122]
I love my computer, I really do. Because now I can talk to all those little voices in my head and I have proof they do answer me. LOL Seriously though i do like the computer it has been a way for me to feel like I have someone to talk to when there are no other talking adults around,. I mean I love my kids but sometimes you want to talk to someone that is an adult or at least not someone who you have to tell what to do and supervise to make sure they are, I hope you understand what I mean. But seriously the computer could possibly cure mental illness those hearing voices can talk to those voices and get responses back and have written proof that someone answered them LOL Hope you have a great day. and I hate it when my computer decides to go on vaction without telling me first.... [AnnaB7]
With my wife its a double edged sword, and it depends on what she is doing, there are times she will cuss at it up one side and down the other and other times she will talk to it like a soothing friend. The last couple of weeks teh only time she has been really talking to her computer is when she is playing online games and her game doesn't go the way she wants. The only other time she really cusses is when she getts booted or the scans lock up o her and somehow something has gotten on her computers, she uses different computers for different reasons. DM [damucci]
Ok hands up those of you who talk to your computer? Me Hands up those of you who shout, scream and throw obscenities at your computer? Me Do you get angry with it? Bleeding Oath I do. I am ashamed of myself Dr Wolfie. I am forever calling my computer nasty names, most times it deserves it though. Never would I break my computer though, because it helps me keep in touch with those whom I love. [Goodie123]
I guess you could say my computer is a friend but not my best friend my best friend in the whole wild world just moved away from me and I hate it,they couldnt afford where they where so they moved to a cheaper place, but I couldnt live without my computer.............. [meemaw]
I got to admit this. I cannot do without my computer. It is my business tool, my relaxing tool, etc. Today, majority of businesses need the computer, and I am no different from anyone of them. There are times, I try my best to stay away from the computer and have a good rest or do some other activities. No matter how important it is, I think my health is more vital. [creationhub]
Hello wolfie34, Oh my God, I think you have completly lost the plot, yes my computer is a happy and gentle little and sometimes it laughs at me and I haven't even said any thing funny to her, she is very pretty and sits on my lap all day but when shes had enough she goes very slow and cannot be bothered and I think this heat wave is getting to her.Now and again she loves a face lift and the outcome of that makes people like her new looks, but some people can't make up their min because they use to what she was. I have a love hate relationship with her I hate her because I'm addicted to her and I love her as I want be with her all the time.he he he. Tamarafireheart. [tamarafireheart]
I abuse my printer, see, because it's bigger and can take the abuse! My computer, on the other hand, requires love and care. (*evil laugh*) Just kidding. I am often annoyed at my computer and its speed, and there are times I actually scream at it. However, I tend to not smash my computer, as this can lead to unwholesome results, including but not limited to keys falling off keyboards and mice that no longer work. Besides, haven't you read that nice Onion article about the woman who couldn't get along with her computer? Her computer sure wrote a nice spiel in his defense... [movicont]
It depends on the day of the week, wha kind of mood I am in, and what my compuer is doing a that moment. LOL [danishcanadian]
I love my laptop! I dont know what I would do with it. It does everything I need it to do, holds things, helps me get information and more! I really dont know how I could get things done or keep organized without my laptop. I definetly think my laptop is my best friend and has been nothing but good to me! Thank God for my laptop. [srpkinja]
You can count me as someone surgically attached to the computer. In fact I spend the day in front of a computer and when I come home too I am at the computer. I can still remember the cheap Sinclair ZX Spectrum computer which I brought in the late 1980. That was the source of my computer knowledge, and I have never followed classes or courses regarding computer. I don't know what life would have been for me if the computer was never invented. We would be so backward doing much less than what we are doing now. [josephperera]
I don't really have any type of emotional attachment to my computer. If I did, I would probably be in counseling. Although, my main computer is the one I work with all the time, I usually keep changing the keyset or mouse to the point where I don't get a chance to get accustomed to only working with them. I would never smash my computer if something goes out of whack. Just like if it was a wife that goes crazy, I'll just cheat on it with my laptop. If my main computer doesn't get it's act together seeing me with a smaller, thinner computer sitting on my lap, then It's time to replace her, I mean it. Lol lol [mrghill]
it is my best friend. it gives me all the entertainment i require and also the education. i allows me to watch movies on it, listen to songs and also lets me read the tutorials on the web. i sit with it the most of the time and never get bored. [crazy286]
I think my computer can be both friend and enemy :-) It is meant to make life easier, but it seems to make life more difficult sometimes. It can be a form of relaxation, unless things don't open properly or it decides to crash and then it just causes stress. Most of the time, I feel I'm glad I own one, and fortunately, I have never thrown it through a window. It's a good job cars don't operate like computers, doing what they want and crashing from time to time with no reason! :-) [derek_a]
I never blame my laptop for anything, it's always the fault of the operating system, or my internet service, when things go wrong. My laptop is reliable and I would never hit it. I think of it as a window on the world and a way of communicating across cyberspace, but not as a friend. I taught myself everything I know about using a computer. I did much of it by trial and error on my old desktop computer. It had some very odd ways of doing things, probably because I had done something which affected its performance, in my attempts to find out how it worked. Now I know more, and I find it easier to learn how to do things on my new laptop, without harming it. If my laptop ever dies on my I will not mourn it, I will just get another one. It will be inconvenient if lose everything I have saved on it, but it would not break my heart having to start again with another one. [paid2write]
Ok, I admit it - I talk to my computer! But that's ok, a lot of us do that - I will start to worry when I wait for an answer from it, lol! rasp I have a love/hate relationship with it, but I wouldn't be without it, because it enables me to keep in touch with all my online friends like you and gabs, and weemam, etc. However, I have to be strict with it, as it sometimes gets out of hand and wants to do things I don't want it to do - and then I lash out at it! You wouldn't want to be around me then wolfie . . . [abbey19]
well for the past 2 years im on my third computer. the second one i delibrately destroy it because it was new but extremely slow especially when i wanted to play my favourite games like fifa. Me being extremely impatient i hate when electronics don't operate the way that they are supposed to. I call my laptop my third half. I go on my computer every day it's like a must. I find it difficult even to stay away from it on my sabbath. I don't speak to my laptop yet but i find it very comforting especially when things aint going right with my wife i go to my laptop because sometimes i find its the only thing that understands me. [bajahranks]
I am disabled and confined to a wheelchair with very little means of connecting with people in person. The computer is more than my friend -- it is my lifeline to the world! [fec139]
Well, considering my entire income is made from my computer, I'd say it's almost like my best friend. My husband teases me and says it's my "boyfriend", but he sure likes it when I get paid for the work I do. I don't get mad at it very often, I just restart it when needed and pray it doesn't crash on me because I couldn't afford to go out and buy another one right now. If I had to do without it for very long, we'd sure be in trouble because I make money to pay our bills too and the hubby couldn't quite carry that load all by himself. [steeleIC]
That's what I always ask myself. I love spending time in front of my computer, but it definitely is bad for my health. That's why I think it can be your worst enemy sometimes. [mayaara]
Ok hands up those of you who talk to your computer? Raises both hands Hands up those of you who shout, scream and throw obscenities at your computer? Raises both hands again and finally hands up those who are surgically attached to their computer and treat their computer like their best friend and wouldn't be parted with it for all the money in the world? Wow, I didn't have to raise my hand for this one.lol Is your computer human? No but it likes to try and prove to me it has a mind of its own Do you get angry with it? sometimes Because it is not doing what you want it to do? or because it isn't doing it what I am telling it to. Do you abuse your computer? Not on a daily basis Have you ever broke or smashed your computer through pulling the plug, throwing stuff at it or worst throwing it on the floor in anger and disgust? No but my old computer had a pretty lil dent from one of the times I kicked it. Do you have a love hate relationship with your computer? Yes, it loves to make me hate it [razcal2267]
Well, I would say it depends on how you use your computer. Base on my experience, We have had our own pc for maybe 10 years from now. But during the first 5 years, we hardly ever use it other than to send email or do some research for whatever interest we had at the time, and most often, that old pc seem to always have technical problems. And it would happen, of course, at the time when you need to use it. So, it was my enemy. But now that I'm into blogging and looking at ways to earn money online, I decided to get us a new pc. This pc has become my best friend that I would feel lost without it since a lot of valuable informations are saved in here. [2good4sybill]
Hello Wolfie34. Is my computer my best friend or my worst enemy? The question is a good one, but I chose to answer it differently. The computer makes our lives much more efficient in many respects, e.g. banking, travel, communication and research. Therefore it can be said to be your friend. However, if it is stopping you from going out and meeting people; causing you to analyse a pile of ever more useless data; or keeping you locked away in a room without sunlight or doing exercise, then the computer has become your worst enemy. This is a very new thing in society and I for one am going to try to keep a balance in my life and make the computer a productive and a not destructive part of my life. Regards Umart [umart13]
My computer is always a partner of my daily living in this life in which I could type everything in it and for that reason my computer is such a big help for everything.... [iyah10]
My computer is my best friend at present and the television is my worst enermy. [alpha7]
I don't talk to my computer, unless it's not doing what it is supposed to.. then I go: What in H is the matter with you!! Now I do talk out loud when answering discussions.. kind of thinking out loud to what I am saying to the poster. [OreoCookie3]
I like my computer for sure, and it is like a friend of mine. But also it has a potential to become my enemyhappy. Though I like my computer, it is not like that that I can't stay without it. I can live without it for few days, but it is hard to stay away from my computer for a long time. It keep me connected with everything and also keep me updated with the current news from the world. [sweetlady10]
I am too busy typing to think of my computer as a human. Very scary. I did watch the whole three Terminator Movies, so I was prepared for my screen to go blank, and my speakers work even though I have them turned off, and a horrid face appear on the screen and say in an ominous voice, 'Human, I am your master, obey me!" but so far that has not happened. The computer fears me. It is on its best behavior, because I have said that I plan to get a Macpro lap top and maybe an Imac computer, the one with the wide screen. So it knows that it had better not defy me. hahahahah! (evil laugh) [suspenseful]
i don't know, but i think computer is just a kinda machine. not a human being. so it won't be my friend or enemy. it just like a tool for me to communicate with outside world and get imformation..... [Lazysheep]
Neither my best friend no my enemy. It is my slave!!.I have to provide it with knowledge an guidance as it is a complete idiot. But after all I love it because it is a grate helper. [lalith956]
My computer is definitely my friend and has brought some new friends to me, as well. I love sitting in front of it and I do talk to it all the time. Sometimes I am angry at it since it is pretty slow much of the time or it erases what I am writing or it is me that is stupid and can't figure something out and I take it out on the computer!! I do not abuse the computer because I don't want to hurt it or do something to it so that when I am over my mad it will still be there. There was a time when all I ever did was computer related, but I've gotten over that.....most of the time. [idowrite72]
LOL Definitely a love/hate relationship here! I get so frustrated when it's running slow or locks up. Takes so much longer to get things done! [renitaperrone]
My computer would run to the closest hostel if there were one available. I only speak to him to command it to do what I want when I want and how I want and if he doesn't then the language I speak to him is Very colorful and not becoming of a lady. Wow for a second there I thought I was talking about my partner. LOL Well same thing eh? [vicki2876]

Sometimes its all about self discipline. I have problems watching the time and making sure that I get things done. You can get so caught up and hours can go by...and you look at the clock and say omg what time is it? lol Yes some times We yell at it and scream at it and it still crashes but we just keep going back for more. We are addicted.... [eaforeman6]
My computer is my best friend on a lot more days than I like to mention. I don't have a lot of offline friends as I have moved to another city and don't know very many people yet, so I rely on my computer to keep me company. I love to email my friends and family and they email me in return so that is the main reason I love the computer. I also love to chat with my friends here in mylot too. So I love my computer and would be lost without it. I take real good care of my computer and I don't abuse it. I keep it clean and don't feed it a bunch of garbage, downloading stuff. I depend on my computer so that I can keep in touch with people and to make some extra cash. So I will continue to take care of my computer, like a good friend should.lol [chrislotz]
I don´t love my laptop. But I have problems to live without it. Beacuse I try to earn some extra money online. And you can do so much with a computer [Sussie_1]
LOL I LOVE my computer and would never willingly hurt or neglect it Dr Wolfie - you should know that by now! I think though that my laptop's feelings have been hurt as it is not used to not being attached to me and when I didn't go near it for weeks it got very upset! Hugs sweety! xxx [mummymo]
Sometimes I get angry with my pc, because when anti-virus is running, my computer start freezing and get so slow..but when anti-virus stop running, my pc is not slow anymore, but I really don't think I love it. [omgggggg]
I work from home. So daily I am on the computer. I have never abused my computer. That would be loss of what little money I can eek out. However, I do ocasionally get frustrated. Like when the internet goes down and I cannot do anything. I am generally thankful for the opportunity to have a computer and to be home. [ersmommy1]
