Since I do a bit of work on the computer, I'd say I surely need my PC. But a day without a TV is truly boring. I know the computer can entertain us too with vids, games, etc. online but still nothing beats sitting back in comfy sofa with popcorn on your hands while watching your favorite movie/TV show on a widescreen TV. How 'bout you can you really be ok without any of the two???

i guess during the day i could not live without my computer, since i am on it alot more during the daytime. at night my shows are on, so i would want to watch tv at night. but my kids watch cartoons during the morning, so i guess keeping them happy is more important and would keep me more sane! :) [fatmansmommy]

I barely watch TV enough as it is, so I could live without the television. However, I work on my computer, and so I do need the computer! I could easily live without a TV as there are only 3 programs I watch. While I do enjoy watching my favourite movies on DVD, I can do that on the PC. Can't live without my PC. It provides entertainment, communication and knowledge. [Piscesmoon]
Definitely a computer. I earn part of my income on the computer and besides, you can usually watch your favorite shows and even movies on the computer. Of course, I would prefer having them both. [xcammiex]

I used to be a huge television watcher. It was so bad I could recite what was on the television channels my parents watched by heart without looking at a TV Guide. I have found that these days I do not watch television like I used to. The only channel I faithfully watch is ESPN. So, I can live without my television. I cannot live without my computer. I can watch episodes of any of the television show, music video, or movie I want on my computer. I can also stay up to date with sports scores. I am an avid reader of fanfiction, so if I do not have my computer I have withdrawals. [bleuerain]

I could easily survive without my television. I rarely watch it. It would be difficult for me to go very long without my computer...especially as I do need it for work. I prefer to have both. But I guess I can do without the TV, if I need to choose between the two. The reason being computers are very useful. I can't live without my computer. I experienced life without a television and i don't see any much difference. But just to solve your problem or at least to enjoy your computer more, i suggest you install a TV Tuner on your computer. This way you can enjoy using your computer at the same time watch tv. It's cable ready too so you don't have to worry about it. [modstar]

I could live without both, but I'd miss the internet more than the the television -- I hardly watch much tv anyway. A couple shows every now and again, but those can even be accessed online, I don't really need the television set for much of anything... In my opinion i can't live without my PC. Without the TV the day is a bit boring but with the PC i can do everything. Listen to music, chat with friends, see tv programs live stream, see movies, earn some money, everything. i think technology is an important thing in human life and everyday we are inventing new tings into our world, but i think that the most useful invention for humans was the PC because it is making our life easier and more comfortable. but that's just my opinion... well,telecison and computers encourage passive enjoyment,we become content with second-hand experience,it is so easy to sit in armchira wathing pthers working,little by little ,television cuts off from the real world,we get to lazy ,we choose to spend a fine day in semi-darkbness,glued to our sets ,rather than go out into the world itself,televusion may be a spledid medium of communication ,but it become aware how totally irrelevant television is to real living when we spend a holiday by sea, ,far from the civilizion, without it ,i can to study ,to travelling ,to meet anyone ,go to anywhere ,the two not my necessity of my part of my life ,we can finf more attactive thiing can shinging our eyes [clarkmy]

For me its Computer, I cant live without my computer with internet connection. I got TV tuner also in my computer so i can watch tv on computer only but its rare when i turn on my tv. Computer is more important to me now than t.v. Maybe when I'm a little younger and ask this question I would answer t.v but now that I'm already 21, I would definitely choose computer. Before I spend 7 hours or more just watching shows in the t.v. But now I find it a little boring to watch tv shows. I just watched my favorite show played everyday for 30 minutes.
