Are you a plain jane or do you have a background on your computer?. and if you do does it have special meaning behind it?... Also do you do the donwload background and screen savers or do you just save pictures of backgrounds?...
On my computer wich is a desktop, i actually just changed it. i found this picture of chester bennington from linking park, hes in the middle of screaming (singing) in one of his songs. he had a nice green shirt on that match his tatoos up his arms and on his chest. its areally good pic of him....
No it has o special meaning,though i love love linking park.
They are a wonderful band. if you dont know who they are. you should check them out.
they are like a soft rock.and have a few heaveir songs. but they sing about real stuff real feelings. i think that is what makes me like them.

I have a desktop to which I sometimes download backgrounds. Right now, it has a nice woodsey, colorful picture on it with lots of trees. I sometimes put up a picture that myself or my son has made. On my laptop which I am using now, I have a picture of my only granddaughter as she is walking off the soccer field at a tournament in which she played. I often put a picture of her on my computer, by herself,or perhaps with her boyfriend. I get tired of looking at one and just hunt up another one I like and put it there. I know I can always change anytime I like. It's nice that you don't have to look at a plain colored screen like we did in earlier days. As for screen savers, I usually use the collection of pictures I have on both my desktop and laptop for my screen saver. It really doesn't matter, considering I don't sit here and watch the screensaver anyway. Mine is also set to black out at a given time. [Barb42]

I just changed my background though. But the longest I had was a picture of a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34. Driving is one of my passions and I've always been fascinated with cars. This, however, is my most favorite car. I like it's looks and most especially what it can do under the hood. lol I think the special meaning of it is that it really represents my passion and of course, it represents me. There aren't many Skyline's here in our country. I could probably count all of them them with my fingers. I just saw 2 of em, an R34 and an older one, R32. The R32 was on the road and my goodness the driver pushed the pedal and the car almost flew . lol Love this car. happy [zeroflashx2]

Initially when i bought my computer i did not have any wallpapers in my comp except those given by Microsoft,so then i preferred a blank screen than having those dumb backgrounds. Then one fine day i got an internet connection at home and from then onwards I started changing the background almost everyday. The desktop background I had on a particular day would depend on my mood, some days i preferred lush green fields and some other day mountains. I don't remember how I used to relate the background and my mood but I would like it that day and on the next day I would not like it. Recently a few months ago i bought a SONY cybershot,8.1 MP, from then onwards I carry my camera one round in my garden, click some pics of flowers or butterflies and then select among them. In the end i would like to say that my desktop background is always something related to nature. [nikhilathreyas]

I actually like to make my own wallpapers. It kinda gives my desktop this genuinely personal feel to it. Haha. For almost two years I used this one I made inspired by something I heard in math class. We were discussing shortcuts in solving these freaky equations and our prof said that the only true key there is K.I.S.S., which meant "keep it simple, stupid!" Lolz. Yep, I simply put pictures and text together to make my wallpapers. I kinda have this weird habit of taking pictures of every interesting I see with my camera phone and it's from there where I usually get my images. I have a new computer so i just chose one of the pre installed backgrounds that came with it, it is of a turtle swimming in the ocean. i thought it was really pretty and calming, on my old computers i have had many a different downloaded background, usually pictures of the kids or sometimes Elvis Presley or Owen hart. hi, i change the background of my PC frequently. But most of the background pictures i aopted are the beautiful view of the nature. for me, i like natural worl very much.living in the place that surrounded by the colorful plants and flowing the fresh air are really attract me .however, i am living in the city that far away from the green world. so having a picture of nature as background may be a compensation for can not experience the wild world all the time. I have seen that most of the people are using the different types of themes and the wallpaper to the desktop as according to their choices and the interest.Somebody is having the wallpaper of some celebrity or some other is having the wallpaper of player or musician etc.But i don't use any of the wallpapers like this and i only use the wallpaper made by me on the photoshop and i am fond of making it on my own.Right now i am having the wallpaper with the text written by me in the photoshop and i am really loving these wallpapers and backgrounds made by myself. I keep my background simple with the usual Windows XP or Windows Vista wallpaper. I used to use programs that use special abstract effects of showing color wallpapers but that tend to slow my system down due to the high graphics shown. Before I used to change my wallpaper every week just based on the theme of what I felt to my mood. I usually put anime or other abstract wallpaper with silver, blue or black. [darkangel079]

I don't mind what's my desktop of computer. I don't care what it is. Because I don't have time to look after it, after I open my computer I will open IE or play games. All of those let me can't see my desktop, so I don't much care about it. What I care is the color of the IE and my game, I want to protect my eye. I'm near sight now. Hi, I have a destop computer and I always have something personal as a background on it. Right now is a photo of my oldest leopard gecko, Wrigley, that I took recently. I alternate them every once in awhile. For awhile, I'll use the one I use for my avatar (my 5 dogs) or I'll put one of of my youngest gecko. I like to have my backgrounds simple yet stunning and does not take up too much space so that start-up time will not be affected, I like to start-up fast.
