The little man in white is in fact Jordan Mechner's brother. I found a video that documented how the game was made. I have that game. [shambhujit]

Wow! That's really old. I am looking for those games. [shambhujit]

Mmh, that's a hard question :P I think it was Mowgli, or something similar. Was addicted to that game! [Jargoness]

'Road Rash'... I think i was in some 5th or 6th grade... Later i used to play DOS games..Dave, prince of persia, alladin,... Now, i'm a very good gamer..mostly i prefer action games.. [Sandy2052]
I played "Road Rash" when I was in 10-11th class. I was addicted to it for sometime and then I gave up. I have motion sickness when I play them. [shambhujit]

i think it was probably crash bandicoot warped on ps1 my first game on my first games console [anklesmash]

Yes, Prince of Persia was the game that I too played the first time. If my memory is right, it was in 1994. How times & technology have moved on.... [Equinoxx]

The very first game that I played to the time I met computer was Mario followed by a Robotic Rabbit named Jazz. [kent_help2smile]

the first game computer i played..mmh..i guess something about pac-man,mario and pong probably really old school games but always funny also now when sometimes i play them... [tonyllenium]

The first game I ever played for the computer was The Oregon Trail. I still love that game, all versions of it. Then I moved onto The Sims and that became my addiction for a very long time. I had all the extension packs, and when Sims 2 came out I bought it the first day. I have toned it down because I have a laptop I primarily use now, and those games are huge to load on a laptop. When I get my desktop though Sims 3 will be on!!! [KrystleStarr]
I loved The Oregon Trail! I used to play that in school during word processing class. Risk was another good game. Then I moved on to Age of Empires and Sims myself. :) [RaiscaraAvalon]

My first computer game actually was miner or digger? it has three levels. Once you made mistake the landmine would blast off...that's so frustrated.. [Maychen]

The very first computer game that I remember playing was an alphabet learning game when I was in kindergarten. It was a Disney game too. I remember there was Goofy, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck helping me out. The setting was in their living room and all the letters of the Alphabet have escaped from the book. As a player it was my job to find all the flying letters in the air, and type it on the keyboard. When I got it right, the Disney characters would clap and tell me "Good job!".^_^ I remember that I couldnt find the "A" and it was the only letter left flying. I complained that there wasnt any "A" on the keyboard, which irritated my tutor telling me in a slightly rude way that "There is. Find it!".doh The next one that I remember would be Pac Man and Super Mario on the computer, and Donkey Kong on the Family Computer video console.lol [bjcyrix]

my first computer game is need for speed(old edition) and DX-ball :P this game is my all time favorite [freelink]

When i first got my computer around 2003 i bought some video games. One was "Alice in wonderland". I never played it all the way through. A few years back i got started with "Sims the complete" then it was "Sims2". Now im playing "Sims3" Its the best ever. [jdyrj777]
I have games unopened that ive not played yet because im busy with sims3. [jdyrj777]

computer game? hmm.i can't remember the name of it,but it was some game for apple/tandy that was like pacman, but had some tooth brush chasing you. it was a pretty stupid game,it was a long time ago.. [scarlet_woman]
i wish i could remember the name of that thing.. urgh,it's going to bother me now..lol [scarlet_woman]

Hi Shambhujuit, The first two computer games that i played were--tetris and pacman. i enjoyed playing it and missed that times when it was the "in" game. i was able to get a high score then and even compete with my brothers and sister. if given the chance i will still love to play it! [msfrancisco9369]
We also have the old version of pacman and tetris. i still play it and my kids too. now i am playing the following games too--bejeweled, jewel quest and text twist. [msfrancisco9369]

Goodness. Asteroids I think, or maybe Pong. Or this wacky Word Whomp thing...the snake that grew as you "ate" letters and words. I still have those games, though they are on 5 1/4" floppies. Yeah, I'm dating myself a bit there lol. So I can't play them anymore that way. [RaiscaraAvalon]
We had a vintage here in our locality that could read 5 1/4" floppies until 3 years ago. I don't know if it is still there or not. [shambhujit]

Super Castle Vania on Super Nintendo... was a pretty good game [Gone_Forever557]
I yearned for an nintendo console when I was a kid. [shambhujit]

what do we call the ones where we arrange the falling brick? That one was my first. And I still think it's fun and addictive, despite the ever growing game industry. It is something that's still the same yet still occupy time. [iocustheoda]

I wish I could remember the name of it, it was in the early 90s and there was a guy who had to go through a carrot patch to find a key, he was fighting for a kingdom. I loved it when I was little, I just dont remember the name. I also remember Oregon Trail on floopy disk. [karichardson]

Oh boy, don't get me started lol. In the late 80s the first game I ever played was Pac-Man on my father's Atari system when I about 5 years old. I remember the ol' joystick with the red button lol. Oh man, those were the days. [BinaryKat]

I think the first computer game I ever played was either this really weird game called like Roadkill or something like that where you had to punch snakes and run around in sewers I think or it was one of the Street Fighter games either way they were both pretty cool. I prefer to use video game console though because I like the feeling of the controller in my hand. [jambi462]

The ping pong game on Atari (I'm dating myself here aren't I?) I can remember playing it for hours and hours with my brother. Kids nowadays would think we were crazy. [jammycatz]

The first computer game I've ever played was the formula 1 grand prix produced in 1988. About that time I also liked very very much the spanish computer game Goody - awesome game!!! You can see what I'm talking about here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KayzDrpbY5s Well, here's shown a little bit of the game itself - the gameplay's really longer - you just go trough different places, differrent traps and so on... [trohichko]

The real computer game I played is the Diablo way back in the early 90's. I like the good ole Barbarian character in this game. The first Diablo is only in 2D but the graphics are really magnificent during those times. It is where it all started my fascination about computer games. The second game which fascinates me was the Red Alert where Tanya does a good job. The next games that followed were all similar to this two games. I haven't enjoy the Counterstike but I do played it with my friends. [Fulltank]

When I first got a computer my very first game was command and conquer 2 Man I remember staying up real late just to beat that game. I would go hours on end sitting there clicking that stupid mouse. LOL But it's nice to see how far the C&C series has gotten. good times, good times [stonerhurley]

Road rash was my first computer game on no Dave was first computer game then mario then road rash [alwaysgreat5]
Hmmm... quite confusing at times. [shambhujit]

I think project IGI was the first computer game I played. I dont remember very clearly but what ever it be I just got attracted and then adddicted to these pc games more than the typical video games we play on tv. [coolcat123]
Project IGI was released in 2000. I guess you missed out the fun then. [shambhujit]

I played pacman, paranoid, prince of persia, dave, doom etc. all these dos games in 1996 when I first learned computing at a local center. [faridmadeabillion]
'Paranoid' is brick-breaking arcade game like DX Ball. It was played with the keyboard. The left and right shift key were used to move the bat/board, space bar to throw the ball. It was a shareware released by the The Bit Bucket Brothers. After finishing the first 30 levels for free, one could order for a license of playing additional 30 levels. That time it was a very popular game in our area. [faridmadeabillion]

This will age me LOL. My favorite game and the one I can remember playing was Motezuma's Revenge on a Commodore 64. I loved it so much that my ex-husband bought me a commodore 64 and the game off of ebay.:) [dotchianni]

the first one for me i think was dark regions 2 i loved it.... [kidx1234]

A bunch of various games for the Atari. That's about all I remember. I was wayyy too young to remember exactly which one I played first. whistle [LouieWpHs04]

Pacman when I was like 3 but it really didn't interest me much so after a few tries, I stopped. What really got me into gaming was The Lion King videogame. It was like 1994 or 1995. Not sure but I know I was around 5 years old at that time. [shaeki]

My first computer game was prince. It is very old game. I was kid that time. It had poor graphic, poor control, poor navigation, but still I liked that game. As technology advance the games too became advanced. [aviambitious]

My first game play is contra. It is in the cube game. Its late 1996 like that. [hariez89]
I was in fifth grade then and I couldn't think of using computers and video-games. Thank you for your response.. [shambhujit]
