Whats The First Computer Game You Ever Played

I remember when we had our first computer set which my brother bought. At first I don't use the computer that much. Then one day, my brother installed a game there. It was Starcraft. Since then, I'm always busy playing from morning to midnight. It was really addicting. Until now, I play lots of games but Starcraft is the best. How 'bout you? What computer game did you first ever played?

To be honest, I can't remember happy It think it must have been some of the pre-installed windows-games, maybe solitaire or pinball. [lronMaiden]

I dont remember! We have always had a computer - even when no one else did - because my Dad works on computers. There were several games that I really loved. One of my favorites was a nursery rhyme game. You had to collect the things to complete the nursery rhymes. Like returning the wife to Peter (the pumpkin eater). My other favorite game was root beer tapper! I recently downloaded it to our xbox 360. It is still a great game! I can definitely waste a lot of time playing it! lol [derlilaStern]

My first game was on an Atari that you would hook up to your TV set. I would play that ping pong game for hours until my eyes were going inside my head! The first computer game I played on my computer I think was Pop It. I had to stop playing it because for hours after playing it all I would see in my brain was Balloons in lines and I could not concentrate or have a conversation without the damn balloons popping all around my thoughts. These days if I feel like wasting time on games I play word games or the card game called freecell. [saw2207]
I did experienced that feeling too. When I got addicted to the game Insaniquarium. When i close my eyes, I see Coins falling... =D [check23]

Just to rewind my memories about 15 years back... When I was in front of IBM XT PC and running DOS 3.30 5,25" diskette. I really like playing Pacman and Tetris. [cwachid]
i played Pacman in FamCom and Tetris on a Brickgame. =D [check23]

my favourite games DAVE,MARIO and space rocket(DOS games).. But the bigger game was the motocross madness.. i played PROJECT IGI.(once i sat and finished all the missions once!!) [sreenidhi]

The first game I played on computer was "Digger". [caarslan]

hi check, the first game i played in my computer was the old but nice game, called DAVE.its a really nice game even i its really old i love it and believe me or not even after playing that game for about 3 years i have reached only 6 levels.its really hard sometimes. [vnrsudhan]

It's hard to remember, it's so long ago now. On a friends computer (a ZX81) it was probably a Defender-clone. On my first computer, a ZX Spectrum, I think it was a Beakout-clone. [egdcltd]

I don't remember exactly but it will be definitely from the following list of games: DAVE, Guimo, Prince or Pacman. Prince was the best game that I had then and I played it day and night. [aslesh_t]

Ha! Only the most addictive game during the eighties! Ping Pong!! Actually, there's a sentimental value here. It's the first game I ever played with the first girl I ever fell in love with. To top that! It's the first time she kissed me!! On the cheeks! Well for a six year old in the eighties it's good enough to get me elated. Innocence is so rare these days. [Miloque]
Wow. Me too. I remember that PS1 got my classmate and I got us closer with each other. We became lovers but it didn't last that long. [check23]

Probaably a Windows game form like 10 years ago, or 101 salmations on PS2 xD [Mitobid]

I remember when my family didn't have a pc back in the early '90s. when we finally got one I got addicted to popular adventure games, one in particular '7th Guest' which was one of the first horror games. Later, I purchased 'Phantasmagoria' which really scared me. These were before the "Resident Evil" series came out for playstation. [misskriss1974]
I don't know those games, only Resident Evil. =D [check23]

i played "call of duty" first ever.and it made me sick.lolz..i used to play whole day.16 18 hours continous...after that i played far cry and so many others...i still have call of duty CDs .all three versions.i just love that game.. [smilingtiger]

we had computer back in the 90's, guess we were lucky to really have computer back then. there was this computer game that i got addicted to playing, its called supaplex and its a puzzle game, like pacman but the graphics are better than that of pacman, and the thing that he eats are infotrons, no ghosts, but there are puzzles you have to solve so he can go to the next level. took me years to be able to really finish all levels... hahaha... really it's true, because you cant go to the next level unless you finish the one you are playing, and it had more than 100 levels, you can skip but only two times. it was very hard puzzle game. i got addicted to tetris also... lol... me and my friend played it with a bet. [jayrene]
I like puzzle games too. It makes my mind working. =D [check23]

Well, it's a toss up because to be honest, I can't remember which one was exactly first because it was over 20 years ago. But, the two computer games on those big old floppy disks were, Kings Quest (like the one the kid plays in the movie BIG) and the other was the original Leisure Suit Larry. They were both kind of the same format, read the story, decide what to do and see what happens. We also had some of the early video games, including a pong game(yep, all it was, was pong) and the original Atari. Now if you want to talk some of the best video games, that old Atari system had some of the best. I still love, love, love Kaboom! [uicbear]

Mine was Pacman on a aracde machine in the early 80s. I was about 10 or 11 . That was so long ago. [Shaun72]
I said the first arcade game I played. My first computer game I played was Tetris or Collapse. [Shaun72]

I think my first computer game was Wolfenstein 3D. I bought it at a local dollar store. It was about a guy escaping from a castle during WWII because he was captured by the Nazis. It was pretty cool. I do like Starcraft too when I first tried it. I'm really excited about the new Starcraft 2 coming out soon. [chunijole]
I'm excited too. =D [check23]

PONG!!! yes that was the first game i ever played it seems plain and dull when i think back about it , but boy was it fun then. Everybody wanted to play that game for hours at a time they need to bring back a new version of it. [extirator]

First computer (PC) set game was like Karate Do, or the Paratroopers! Hahahha.. I guess you wouldn't know those games because we were like 9years old then and the screen was green. Hahahahha! But the first ever computer game (module) we got was ATARI and we played bricks hehehehe.. it came before Nintendo, and it was just joystick and the television was in Black and White. I guess we came through all those modules from Atari, Nintendo, Sega, to the new gen modules now PS3, Xbox. happy I could really remember how addicted all my uncles were when PaC-Man came in town. They'd even formulate strategies for it, they used their Engineering minds and intellects hahahahaa.. [laydee]

starcrat is the first game i played, now i still play this game. i am waiting for startcrat II [kevin0529]

As long as i can remember the games i always play in the computer was Word twister, and zuma delux. I am still playing zuma delux if i feel i want to play. I am also playing solataire if i am in mood of playing. [glesil_00]

I remember when i was in college i got addicted with Ragnarok, an online game. Its is MMORPG.I am not really a gamer since i was a kid but i became obsessed with ragnarok which kept my gaming sessions overlap my class shedule.I even invited my classmates to build a guild or a team and we play together and soetimes we missed our classes. I think about it more often when I'm at home since we only do have one computer which for bussiness use and my brother is always using it, so there is no chance that i can play ragnarok in our home. I get so excited everyday and put a lot of effort and money on the said game. I really dont deny my addiction and my classmates even called me " RAGNA GIRL". I decide to stop playing Ragnarok when i realized that i put much effort and money when we broke up with my boyriend. [macel19]
I got addicted to Ragnarok also and it was when i'm in college too. I wasted a lot of time and money on buying cards but I think it's okay 'coz it's a great game. Rock On! =D [check23]

When i was 6 my step mom and dad played a game called The REalm, it was a MMORPG game lol, i still play these types of games, and other ones too lol... the graphics are bad, and everything its not even 3d lol [Maryzilla1337]

Mario! Rmb the deng-deng-deng-deng-deng-deng music?! haha. It's a classic small DOS game. One of the few addictive, yet small enough to carry around on floppy game! (Long long time ago!) =D [trindio]

I think the first computer game I ever played was DAVE. I remember playing the game again many years later and loving it =) I think i might go look for that now.. [mordyfied]

my elder brother too brought computer for me. The first comp. game i played was GTA auto Vice city.I liked the game very much. [dasrupkamal]
I played GTA too but on PSP. =D [check23]

I like winmine of the windows at the first play [lfl315]

The Sims was the first computer game I ever played. I remember I got so addicted to the sims that I played the whole day during summer breaks. I just got up from my chair to take a bathroom break and eat lunch and dinner. Even until now, I still love playing the sims 2. But I don't get to play that often anymore because my schedule is a bit hectic. [zzyw87]
I still play The Sims too but only when I want to create a model house. [check23]

Actually I don't remember it very correctly because i was 9 years old.At that time we used to have a black & white monitor. All i can remember is that it was a bike racing game and the bikers used to fight during the race with chains or something. [wallpapers123]

I think it is Prince of Persia. It was pretty difficult using the keyboard to play it. It's also in black and white. It's not really that interesting. I played Cd-Man next. It's like a pacman game but a little too difficult because it moves pretty fast. Right now, Prince of Persia has evolved and it's one of the best games around. [modstar]

Hi Everyone! i'm new to mylot, i join today and this is my first response! i remember when i buy a computer in 2002 and don't even now how to operate it and the first game dave i was ever play, this is the simple dos game. and i like it , and the most i like the game is Counter-Strike and IGI. Sorry about my english. [tzafar]

The first PC game that I played was probably "Lunar Lander"... im old. [randoh]

Solitaire! I really enjoyed playing that when I was 9 years old even if I didn't know the rules in it.. I just move the mouse, pick a card and then put it wherever it's allowed to..hehe by the way, I heard that Solitaire is the most popular computer game in the world since it's available in every windows computer... Now, I enjoy playing online games like Crazy kart(I don't know if it's available in US 'coz I'm in the Philippines) and audition. [derickdj19]
I played Audition too but not that much. If I have a chance i want to try Crazy Kart. [check23]

The first game I remember playing on the computer was 'Solitaire'. However, I no longer play it. Nowadays, I don't have time to play games on the computer cuz am all grown up..lol [babymimi05]

happyI am not sure if any one remembered this game but i used to play with my family. the first game that we used to play as LEMINGS. where a guy has to dig and dig until he reached the ground but should not fell because it will be Game Over if that Happens.I always loose because my brother kept messing with the keyboard i ended up typing the wrong letter. we tried to find again in the internet but it's completely gone.sadsad [Mikaela_taz25]

I think that would be Counter Strike, Battle Realms and Ragnarok. I was a freak in those games when I was still in my early years of high school. I just graduated from it and I realize I'm gaining nothing out of playing but I still do play those games sometimes although it's no longer the hype. [cecillecarmela]

I don't remember the very first game I played, it must've been solitaire or some other games that are already installed on windows. But I remember the first game someone installed on our computer that I really enjoyed playing and got me addicted - Zanzarah! It's an amazing game! I still play it after all these years, you never get bored of it! It's such a shame that not many people know about it. It's weird since it's such a great game, it should've been much more popular. [moonlight_dream]

i do play the Warcraft. it's really amazing..i play lots of game too but it can't compare the first game i've play.. [unicorn4154]

You might like I'm really old after reading this. I'm not.:) My first arcade game I played was Pong. I was spending the summer in Philadelphia with my great aunt and uncle. They had bought the game for my cousin and I played it like it was the "Crown Jewel" of games. [tpayne33]

Spades. Which is still kind of a favorite game of mine, but not as up there for me as it used to be. Starcraft was the second game I've played and loved it too. [Rustinas1]

it was such beautiful moment in my life when my uncle a p.c for me. i was very happy and i got excited so much i played first game of my life on my personal computer and that was need for speed 2. This game was very interesting. I played that game on first time for the whole day and night stand. This was my favorite game also by electronic arts. In this game, when I played for tournament and tried it for at least 16 times then i win a tournament I got crazy and feeling like a king who had occupied over a state like heaven. [rashidmunir53]

The first computer game I ever played was Tetris and yes it is addictive. [AppleAnnie]

I do not play many computer games. some come with the computer allready. I have played some of them. Minesweeper is one of them. while I have played tedures that was on a word processer i bought once. the frist video game I played was space invaders, that goes back a long time ago. [scififan43]

I would love to have that game installed in my pc as my brother loves this game a lot. Can you give any link from where I can download this game. As far as I am concerned, I have played Contra on a pc. This was an awesome game and I am still playing it even if it is 10 years now when I played it for first time! Right now, I am playing games like Resident Evil 4 and God of war which are on PS2 console! [sanuanu]

Believe it or not, the first game that i ever played on the computer was the pacman. Up to this very day, i still have it, and i just love it so much. In fact, i have been playing it for so many years now. I really do not like the modern games so much. Maybe i have grown to be too old for them. I still like the classic games, in fact the dos games. These games remind me of the good old days when we had to put in P1.00 for a single game, where each machine would have so many people lining up to play it. These arcade games are simple, yet so nice. I really love them. I still play Galaxian also, and believe it or not, the Space Invaders. [safejunk]

The First Computer Game I Ever Played Was Duke Nukem. My Cousin Had It Installed On His Computer Back In 93-94 (Around That Time Frame) And Everytime I Went Over To His House We Would Always Play It. Fun Times. Wow, The Difference In Realistic Games Now-A-Days Is Crazy. Makes You Think About How Good You Thought Those Graphic Were Back Then. [osker_85]
I played Duke Nukem too with my niece. It was fun! =D [check23]

KINGS QUEST!!!! By Sierra. And I've loved everyone after that since....well except number 8 I believe it was, newer graphics, but then again I never quite had a chance to play it. [candymarie]

It was on the ZX spectrum ... I recall snakes going round a screen with mushrooms growing. I've not really played them since the 1980s [Elspethr]

Oh probably either solitare or this game called chip's challenge. Solitare was probably the first but chips challenge came around soon after and it was so addicting. [csrobins]

I do not remember what a computer game that I play first time, I remember I used to often play the game soliter, the sims and many more. now I rarely play the game. now I am pleased to open the Internet from the main game. I occasionally play games for the saturated, but not often used. [indahfth]

I remembered play old prince of persia. I played it via floppy disk. This game is very hard to played for me (I was 7 years old back then). Anyone can finish this before? How many level in this game? [7gakki]

the first ever i played was solitaire. But i should say that i was confused with that first and started playing Road Rash. Its was the coolest game at that time. We used to play in the school computers. [mde2pak]

Hi, My favourite game is Age of Empires 1 & 2. I dont like the 3rd part though. The 3rd part is not interesting. I have played 1 & 2 so many times and never get tired. I have the orignal verision and then there is another game thats really gr8. It is called pandaro box and it is about solving puzzels. Regards, Larry Nicholas [larrynicholas]

I think it was solitaire. My dad got a monochrome monitor because that was all we could afford at the time. But, I set out to learn how to use it. We had those HUGE floppy disks too. It was an older computer when we got it but, we weren't complaining! But, then we got this game and we were a reporter trying to get the 'scoop' on the game. I think we had some other insanely old school games on our computer too. We thought we were so moving up when we got organ trail. Haha. Pleased as punch! [dismalgrin]

first game that i played on my first ever pc a 286AT IBM was in floppy 5.2 disk it was Operation wolf a side scrolling game also available in mall arcades back in the 80's... when I upgraded to a 386 computer, Man i was drinking all the while and the first time a had a 3d game installed called DOOM 2 it gave me a headache... I went dizzy big time drinking beer and playing... hahaha... [defendocombato]

The first computer game I ever played was called Lode Runner and it was super addictive. [kellys3ps]

I think the first computer game I played aside from solitaire is GTA. I enjoy that game. It's easy to learn and play. My sister even like playing it. But i don't play it anymore.lol [reckon21]

Hii. I played Car race as my first game.. [vinod959]

The first games I played on the computer was solitaire and hearts. The different games help me get use to clicking the mouse. [happy6162]

I have played many games on the computer. The first one was heart solitaire installed as a basic game on the computer. Now days I play a lot of hidden games and puzzle games as I find them more challenging and making you eyes and mind going bonkers and hay wire. The bottom line any game that we find can make us get addicted to it. [schoenmaker143]

I have played the game "digger" first on computer. That was an XT computer which used dos for its operation. It was a nice game but only runs in old pc/xt computers. After pc/xt computer, next came pc/at, then pentium I, then II, III, IV and so on. My favourite game is gta [btt2005]

well, I seldom play games on computer beacause I think it is a kind of waste of time.If I really have time ,I'll play some very little games on the Internet. I remembered the first game I've played is Card( a very simple game) Happy today [CHORES]

The first computer game i played was dave.It was a very good game to dodge enemies and reach the door.also in the game we have to take a gun if we need to shoot the enemies.I had three lives to play the game. The other game i used to play was alladin. It was a game from Disney and it was nice to cut people and throw apples on them.happyhappy [vicky30]

3D pinball on my fathers windows 2000 I believe. I loved that game. I even beat my father at the game. And I was like 8 or 9 years old :D [toonvk]

i think it was super mario or pacman or tetris. my dad bought a family computer when i was 6 or 7 years old and all those games were included. so i guess any one of those was the first computer game that i played. [alatecablebill]

The family computer game called super mario from nintendo entertainment system or nes. [suchadazzy]

I just remember playing games on my dad's old computer, for which he had Bubbleghost and this Mickey Mouse game where you had to plan a party, and a Duck Tales adventure game. Which of those I played first, I couldn't tell you, but I assume it was Bubbleghost. [anyket]

It's starcraft for me as well, up to this time i still like the game. I also play other games that follow the starcraft concept like generals and company of heroes. It's just wonderful to control a team against another team. Up to this time, i still alot a time for gaming. Its some sort of a stress reliever after a hard days work. Cheers! [ybong007]
