Honestly i started to used a computer at the age of 19.yeah..we don't have a computer subjects in my high school days.that's why i am very ignorant about computer.back in year 1999 that was my first ever to handle a computer. I took a computer course in my college that helps me to know what is COMPUTER all about. Today i can say that I've learn a lot. I can type in the keyboard,do some files, i can print, i can browse to the internet and even to troubleshoot my own computer. how about you? maybe some of you start at the age of 5,6,7 or 1 year old?

children today are really blessed. at the young age they're exposed to new technology. [goalkeeper]
I start to use a computer when I was 5 years old . At that time , I don't know what is computer , I just know it is a Games player . Because I used it to play games . About four years later , I used the internet . When the first time , I used internet , I use it to play games , such as Cs . Then I use it to search info that I need and become a buyer in Ebay.com . When I was 13 years old , I have begun to build some websites . These years (14-16years old)I always earned money from internet , but I suffer much scam site , it wasted my time . [huanghaozi]

During my grade school years, I studied in a public school so I never had a chance to use a computer. When I transferred school in high school, I was very excited to use one. My typing speed was okay since I used to type in a typewriter. [cheerldr]
my first time to type in a keyboard. it took me 5 seconds to find and press the character key.hehehe.. [goalkeeper]
I started using a computer when I was about 18/19 due to a new job that I was going into. I am now 32 and regard my self as quite literate on a PC but my 14 year old sone is a wizard. He started using my PC when he was about 7/8 and now I use him to help me, aint that always the way. lol [Macthedj]
Today children's are more intelligent. then can easily understand what you are discussing to them. When it comes to latest computer games, latest cellphone or any technologies they're also updated. [goalkeeper]
I've started using computer when I was in school at about 10 years old. At the time all I knew about computers was gaming. I was skipping school to go to internet caffes and play with other kids. [k3n3t1x]

When I first touched the keyboard in school I was in 4th grade i.e 8 or 9 yrs old. We started doing practicals when we were 11 yrs old in basics and worked on c language when I was 13 yrs old. [r_anithain]
I think it doesn't matter if you start to use the computer 10 years ago or even 20 years ago, the problem is did you learn well (the amount of languages and subjects you had learned). [nady100011]
thanks for responding.. [goalkeeper]
lets see a started around age 14 which is quite early from where i came from. and since then i have been addicted [deeola]
thank you for responding.. [goalkeeper]
i started when i was about 14 we used dos, card reader, basic, machine language, binary, etc it was not until 15 years later that windows 3 came out and started massive fights about which company should set the standard apple (not mac), bbc, commador, ibm and many others you had to know each system and their individulal languages if you were rich enough to have a modem then you would be able to get 1-2 KB in an hour (could not see how anyone could ever make it any faster as it was extremely fast) you Kids these days would take you forevery to go from one machine to the next as they were so different all programs etc were by command line only as there was no os then [exchange]
thank you for responding.. [goalkeeper]
i use the computer wen i have 7 years [dragutelu]
thank you for responding.. [goalkeeper]
I think the first time I used a computer was 7th grade in the year of 1982-83. LOL it was a TRS-80. Then we got to use some Apple computers when I was in high school. There was no internet, microsoft, explorer or anything. Computers have come a long way now. [gypsylady28]
Before computers are as large as refrigerators because of some electronics devices used in a computer. but now it get more smaller. [goalkeeper]

I started to use computer at 8 or 9 years old. Can't remember already because I think that was 6 years ago? I only remembered that the period I'm talking about is when computers became popular in the Philippines. We're still using desktop computers instead of laptops. [cr0ssf41r13]
i have started to use my computer at the age of 11 when my cousin showed me how to play games in it back in 1997 and then i used it when we bought a computer in 1999 and from then i think i may have used it everyday atleast for an hour [thegreatroy]
I have started computer at the age of 20. When I did a diploma course in computers. Now I cant live without computer. I am IT person. whenever I get a problem I go to internet to get solution. [abhishek_138]
Crikey, I was in my late 40's before I got to use a computer. I still don't understand any of the terms or the technology, all I can do is switch it on, type, play games, and my latest learning experience, downloading photos from a camera. This is all very confusing for someone like me, but having managed to master the basics, I am happy to say that it no longer scares me. Children have such an advantage these days. [recycledgoth]
I started to use it at 27 y.o. I bother my younger brother every minute, called him, asked a lot of guestions, Oh I affraid to make something wrong or to broke a computer, didn't understand nothing. The first time it was a real adventure, especially to know the Internet. But it was so exiting and really interesting. I remember it with a smile now. :) [svlana]
I was 15 when I first started using a computer, and that was when I started high school. I remember it was an Apple computer, and I used it in a word processing class. The same year, for Christmas, my mom and step-dad had bought me a TRS-80. I was excited to get it, and I spent as much time on it as I could after school. One day, my step-dad told me that he would not have bought the computer at all if he had known all I was going to do with it was play games on it. I asked him what else he thought I was supposed to do on it, and he told me that he had expected me to read the manual that came with it, and then start writing my own computer programs. Go figure. A 15 year old computer programmer. I admit I did try to read the manual and learn how to write in basic, but I never could figure it out. So I just kept playing my games on it until I finally sold it about 5 years later. [Gumbysoup2]
Truly speaking I started using a computer at the age of 13 when I bought it home. Its not that I havent used it before that I often uses computer at school and was quite good with them which developed more interest in me. Now at the age of 17 I can surf well my typing speed is quite good and even I can troubleshoot my PC on my own [ankitagarwal]
I was stll in elementary when I had first used a computer. About 9 or 10 i guess.. Luckily my elder sister is taking up computer technician, i it wasnt for her I might have started late though. PC on those times where still DOS operated and have this HUGE floppy disc but thinner. Our monitor was stillblack and white. and the keyboard is too heavy. Cpu are designed horizontally. those were the days!!! [icebucks]
I started using computers when I was about 8 as this was the age when home computers were first around. I was lucky as my dad used to work on computers so he got one for us at home. My kids both sat on lap as babies using the computer and my 5 year old is good at finding the sites she likes. My 2 year old has just learnt how to use the mouse and I'm going to start teaching her how to write her name on the keyboard. [michelledarcy]
I started using a computer in High School and now I'm in a program to become a graphic designer. For me, being born 1981 it's worrying that kids today start using computers at such a young age. Naturally, this is for selfish reasons since in my profession someone 7 years younger has great chances to be better than I am as they have as many years or more years of experience than I have :) [Starline]
i started to used computer at the age of 10. i still remember when i used to broke my old computers. But now i've became an expert [theKop]
Well im 30 years old now but I think I was about 6 when I got my first computer, a shiny new ZX81, however things have certainly changed since back then, space invaders was probably the most amazing game you could play and applications for computers simply didnt exist, now I use my computer for almost everything I do. Very scary how technology increases so fast.... [MrTibbs]
Well i think it does not matter how old you are when you started using computer, or anything but how much interest you put into it.I started using computer at the age of thirty five when i have gotten my post graduate degree but today at 40 i am quite good at it. It is the interest or zeal you put into anything that spurs you up and not the age you started it .I think what is what doing is what doing well and not at what age [edwoks]
i started using it at the age of 15, when i was in 10th grade....i have been hooked to it ever since [rahuldmhatre]
my parents bought me a computer in 2000 when i waz 13 years old.I still remember that day as i hav come a long way from knowin nothing abt the computers 2 bein a computer engineer.THANKS MOM & DAD. [gopeshsingh2007]
i started using my computer at the age of 20, but that was only for sometime during the morning as it was in the computer classes... after that i took my own personal computer and started using for more than 5 hours each day... [magnel]
I started to use a computer when I was 10 years old.Computer was one of the main subjects. We learnt how to write what we wanted to,how to draw what we liked, and how to search what we really needed.I had my own computer when I was 15 years old. In my view the computer is very useful,it can help you in many ways. [Maggie1989]
i also started to use computer at the age of 19 years. [ankit_taran]
I started using a computer at the age of 5. My first year in school they were pushing a new program Writing to Read and the school got ten or so computers. One was put in my classroom and each student had to work on it for a few minutes a day. I was 8 when my dad brought home an Amiga system. My little sister on the other hand has had her very own computer in her bedroom since she was a toddler. [Kate06]

I started to use the computer when I was 13 years old. My first encounter was with a 286 PC processor which i found it at my mother's working place. I had already played with a home computer (Sintez) in basic operating system. [costa1980]
my first computer is Pentium 1 133Mhz..I've also encounter a 386 computer when i start to repair computers. Thanks to you response anyway.. [goalkeeper]
I honestly started in 1974-75 when I worked for a newspaper in Northern California that was converting to what were called VDTs (video display terminals) at the time. But stories were first typed on paper on special IBM typewriters, then fed into what were called OCRs (optical copy readers), which were chronically faulty in that they misread the typed characters. I got my first Macintosh in 1992 only because I was canned from a newspaper job at that time and I needed to learn more computer-related techniques with the goal of "desktop publishing" my own newspaper. Macs got more elaborate when I taught at a university in the 1990s, and then I was pushed into e-mail in 1993. It was a rude awakening, though, when I mouthed off about something when e-mailing and found myself in the chancellor's office charged with creating a "hostile work environment" through my e-mails, even though I never e-mailed anyone directly at the university where I worked. And now, it's simply nuts. Most traditional media will no longer exist when Google and YouTube are finally done with us. [Radicalpatriot]
that was a great story from you..thanks for sharing your experience. [goalkeeper]
I began using a computer when I was 8 years old. It was the first computer we had...in the late...1987. It was a Commodore 64! It was so slow loading programs from tapes...(yes tapes!). It was fast as a snail..1MHz of clock! And only 64KB of memory...whom only 39KB really free (others used from system ROM). But I enjoyed it very much with thousand games! Programmers were so good...doing 2d and 3d graphics on that hardware! They were real programmers...not who is programming Modern games...that needs always faster computers and videocards and infinite memory! Then I used a PC IBM 286 with 1MB of ram and 40GB of hard drive. Then I buyed a new 486DX2 66MHz with 16MB of memory...if I well remember. Then a fast K6-2 350MHz and 256MB of RAM, soon upgraded to an AMD K6-III 400MHz. I began to build them with passion and understanding much more of computers. I began to overclock them too! Later I buyed a new one, it was a Athlon XP 1700+. I upgraded it to a Athlon XP 2400+ and after a month i overclocked it to 3200+ ;-). Then I fried my mobo (after 2 years..) and I buyed the last Athlon64 3200+...that I overclock to 2600MHz and it's very fast! This is all my computer'story! [Opteron]
thanks for responding..overclocking your processor making your computer into damage. [goalkeeper]
Oh God, maybe at the age of 5 or 6? We had computers in my primary school and we started using them pretty early on. We didn't get our first home computer till 1998 which would have made me 8. [linzmcwilliams]
thanks to your comments and sharing your computer experience. [goalkeeper]
I started using computer back in highschool days, i was like 15 years old. But I wasn't able to enjoy it because we only had 1 to 2 hours per week for that subject. I was able to really study and used computer in college while doing my thesis. [isyelili]
well after you graduated and get employed you can now afford to buy your own computer. And start enjoying a new world of technology to day. [goalkeeper]
I started using computer when I was in my 6th grade it was my first time and the latest model was Pentium 2 i think and for the operating system was windows 98,back then I don't have enough knowledge yet and because of that I always experience troubles in my pc like certain virus infection,or some program crashes and many others...but now I'm as updated as possible to the fast changing things that are occurring in th computer world [tomoe_spy]
yeah windows 98 are popular late in 90's. I have my first computer model Pentium 1.thanks for responding. [goalkeeper]
well i started to use computer at the age of 16yrs.. the first computer that i used was with windows 95 operating system.. with 64 MB ram.. and 4gb harddisk space.. the first game i played was super mario .. i enjoyed each and every moment of it... will cherish those moments for the rest of my life [raikarraviraj]
thank you for responding.. [goalkeeper]
i started using computers at the age of 18 i know its to late but i used to work on the computers for part time job so i used to use computers. [visu1009]
some say there is no late to learn.thanks for responding.. [goalkeeper]
I started using computers in 1981 with my first programming class in college. This was on a networked dumb terminal, and there were still folks making punch cards. We even had a terminal with no screen. It typed your entries and the computers responses on green bar paper! The first computer I owned was a second hand timex sinclair computer. I got my first pc in 1989. [librarian]
I started to use a computer at the age seven or eight I think. I had internet at the time, but I didn't use it, because it cost a lot. I remember I had 56K modem. So slow! I played only games, and my favorite game was FIFA 98. I was so good. Now, I can't leave my computer, and i'm completely addicted to it. I wish there is something I can do about it, but it's just too hard. [ILANEDRI]
Exactly. we too dont have computers in our schooling. Its only in my 11th std. that i started to practice computer because of my own interest and crazy about computers. And today its like drinking a glass of water for me. My day starts with opening e mails and till late night I will over the system. [vijaya_a12000]
I began using computers when I was about 10. Mostly to type things for school and my brother always had them. Now a days I've seen kids use them as young as 4 and can do more than most adults. I think a computer is like a TV, every house used to have maybe one. Now one per person is the norm. [lpipe0240]
I buyed my first pc when I was 11 years old, but I started using a pc two years before. When I was younger I had a commodore 64 which I used to play with some games. [andben]
I started using computer when i was 13yrs old..MSDOS base operating system...It was quite very different compared now a days.I think it was a 486 model..But i really learned a lot from that...Wordstar, wordperfect,cobol,lotus123...hahahaha..obsolete but it has been the foundation of some programs right now. [bhogz13]
Well i was kinda lucky in this aspect..My dad was a real computer geek so i;ve been around them since i was born..But i didn't really start using them till i was bout 7 or 8..But before that i played games on them starting at like age 3..I think it's a good idea now for schools to be teaching how to use computers in kindergarden and even preschool, since everything is headed towards computers for everything.. [SarahLynn]
i started using computer at the age of 9yrs oLd.. if im not mistaken it was yr 1997.. and our operating system was windows 95.. so too young to use computer..i learn a lot by my self..because i really love to explore the computer..the first ms office that i learn was ms powerpoint..i really love doing presentations..then ms word..and specially i love playing computer games.. then now im taking up a computer course.. in positive side i learn a lot eventhough im just a child..i used those things that i learn in making my projects and more..computer really help me to my studies..but in negative side.. it affects my eyes..now im using contact lens because im near sighted.. its really hard for me to go to school without contact lens.. [bratinella_maan]
well my mom first got a computer when i was about 8-10 around there. back then i started learning with some writting programs and my mom made me do "Math Blaster" & "Reader Rabbit" type programs to help me in school. i rememeber working on them a alot. so i pretty much grew up with the computer and leaning the basic things about it. right now, i know more about computers then my mother, but slightly less then my older sister since she works with computers and programing. i guess i remember the teachers saying that we were considered the "dot com" generation because we were able to looking anything up on the internet and had a vast knowledge because of computers. i'm started to teach my son (who is only 4) to go on the computer and type a little. i have some games, but were waiting to set up their own computer before we let them play it all the time. in todays world where computers and basic knowledge, it would be smart to start children young, especially if they have an interest in them. for me, when i went into inter & high school, i used to computer quite a bit, although i didn't get the internet until 8-9th grade. i praise "Spell Check" because if i didn't use that on my english papers, i would have probably failed or took twice as long to type. [emarie]
My dad is a programmer, so I was introduced to a computer literally at 12 months old and it's something I have pretty much grown up with and have seen develop all my life. It's amazing how much it has changed from when I was young. [skydancer]
4 years old. It was a TI-99/4a with a datacassette drive. [halfserious]
i started at age 10..i was in grade school but i never really paid attention on my lessons so i ended up using the computer but not really learning at all.i just did what my teacher asked me to do..but we had our own computer when i was in my 4th yr highschool, i was 16 by that time and that's when i really learned how to use, navigate and all those stuff about pc..it's fun recalling those moments where i felt uncomftable using the pc that i used to ask my friends to come with me and teach me how and what to do... :) [marlaf]
I wouldn't touch a computer for years, I guess I was afraid of them but in 2001, I got brave and bought one. I was 52 at the time. I taught myself everything by snooping around in it. Now I make water applets and snow applets all self taught on programs that I have. To tell you the truth I have no idea how I ever survived without it. I have the most wonderful friends on the internet, and met my wonderful husband on the internet. this computer gave me a whole new lease on life. [Kackie3]
i started using computers at age of 17 in year 2001 i think but full time use has started just 1 yyear back... [mallick]
I started using computers back in 1993, thanks for my dad. I was 9 years old back then. My dad is a communications engineer and he had a lot of experience with computers and he felt like it was very important for us to have this kind of experience at this young age. [cerium]
2 years ago, so to 36, i dont know if is to late, but i like a lot, and naw is mt best friend, so never is not to late for nothing [martianwoman]
i began to start using computer when i am in 10th!i love pc just because of i can hear my favorite music.later i got an internet connection and i became addicted to orkut.com!i love orkutting.i got many of my old classmates through orkut.besides this i love chatting with my friends!some of my friend are now in gulf countries and UK! [naadia]
growing up we always had this old old computer in the house like from the early 80s or whatever. but we didnt get internet untill i was like 10 or 11 years old. [thewolf777]
i started using a computer in 3rd grade. i was 8 years old. i got my first computer at 13. i have 5 computers at home 1. my old old old old 486 but it still works with windows 3.1 2. my pentium 3 3. my pentium 4 4. my other pentium 4 5. my laptop and i'm saving up for a new computer again. [pagibig]
I did not start until later on learning computers. But because of the new technology and the way things are evolving, I believe children now need to start earlier. I know the daycare my neice and nephew go to has computers they work with the kids on. I let them use mine also with my supervision and they are 3 and 5. I wouldn't let them on by themselves just in case something pop's. [jlmcknit]
I was 8 or so when I started on the good ole IBM/Tandy's with those 5 1/2" floppy disks. I was programming in BASIC when I was 9. I see you are younger than I am. PCs were available when you were growing up. [sedel1027]
the first time i use computer i think is in 1996... and the operating system is still under DOS... we don't have internet yet at that time... so, yes... i start learning how to use the keyboard, print, and everything in 1996... children nowadays is so lucky that they get to use the computer since they are very very young... [lingli_78]
Believe it or not, I'm pretty sure that I worked on a computer at the age of 5 or maybe 6 years old. It was not a computer nearly as fancy as what we have nowadays, though, as I am now 31 years of age, and soon to be 32! The reason that I was around computers from such an early age is that my father is really into technology. His job used to be fixing televisions and other electronics for a living. He even did this job out of our home. Anyway, he bought us one of the first personal home computers. I can't remember if it was the Vic-20 or the Commodore 64 that came first, but it was one or the other. We also owned an Atari 2600 at one point. Those would all be considered ancient and slow by today's standards! ^_^ [shywolf]
i started when i was about 2 lol ^^ but that was only seriously basic stuff. i got a pc in my room when i was 4, and just used it for games when i was about 8 i started learning HTML lol early start :) [ajradical]
I started using a puter at about...15 years old or so...it was an Olivetti 286, with vga graphics and a 20MB hard drive, great for the time being. I loved it!! i used to play two or three games there that i loved.... [LightninStrike]
I really knew and used computer when I war 20 years old and I owned my computer. I rememberd exactly that day 11/9/2001 my father bought the computer for me. I really enjoyed it and so that I don't care anything else around. Till two days later, I had know about 11/9 event. Now, I can use computer fluently, typing, listening music, brow internet...The computer is very useful for me, especialy in English study. It is very good. [nguyenthanhbinh2008]
I started using teh computer when I was about ten years old and I used it in looking for sites that are related to my favorite cartoons in the past. [katan22]
as i could remember, i started using computer at the age of 15.i was in third year high school at that time and the batch that was lucky because the government provided as 24 computers but sad to say the school only used 4 computers because out of this 24 computers.why? it was because of the lack of rooms where the school can't put a computer laboratory and have to put the computers in the stock room.we have to go early in the morning (at 6'o'clock)inorder for us to use the computers and it was a first come first serve basis.everyone of us is always on the race when it comes to computer subject... but no regrets because i learned how to operate a computer especially the basic operations and skills.in my college years, i no longer have problems when it comes to computer operations because i learned these when i was in high school....yehey!success........ [grzdingz]
I started to use the computer at 45. I belong to a generation which did not have computers and cellphones to distract us from our studies.LOL At first I thought I wouldn't be able to use it but when my son agreed to teach me how to do chatting at Yahoo, my hope started. I started as an active chatter at yahoo but later on stopped because I found no use of doing that for a long period of time. I forgot about that hobby for two years until one day somebody gave me this forum site in which I signed up and became an active member. I was actively starting new topics and answering topics started by others when I got tipped about Mylot from one of the visitors in that forum. So this is it. [funny52f]
You are a co0l mum instead...i hope my mum can be as active as you.. [coffebing]
i started using computers at the age of 8. i've loved them ever since. i'm not a computer geek or anything i jus love using them because the amount of information and media at your fingertips. [and1bballplaya07]
i never got around a computer untill i was atleast in my 50,s why. [sharond1]
Lol. I don't see why a one-year toddler will use computer at that age, he/she even doenst know what that for. I started my computer lessons in my high school years and that was on the year 1997. WE also have a computer subject in school and there's no way you can miss it. I remember that it was just a plan MS-DOS computer, just a year after that we have already a Windows 98. [UniqueCode]

Confession time, I am old, started using computers about ten years ago at the age of 50. I haven't really cared much what makes any of it work, but I like to be able to use it. I do a lot on my computer and it is a huge part of my life. It came into my life just when I needed it as I had been in an auto accident and became disabled. This is my link to the world. [wifeofharvey]

[9899402643]
I first began when I went back to school in 1986, I was 30. Then I did not use it again until 1995 when I was 39. I than used it everyday for emails and surfing mostly. I then got hooked on games. I think a young child of 1-4 is too young to start but now a days as schools are going more and more to them, 5 seems like a good age to introduce some educational games to them. [bunnylady01]
I started using computers when I was 16. That may not sound like much, but I'm an old fossil who was 16 in 1976. The computer we used at my school (VERY progressive, for its time) filled a room the size of a large walk-in closet, yet had less computing power than your basic PDA. We wrote programs on paper tape strips with little holes punched out to represent 8-bit code. I'll show my age again by saying that when I was in college I had an early Radio Shack PC. In retrospect, I have NO idea how we were able to do anything with it, but it got me through several CS classes, and I wrote many papers with it. It had 128K RAM. Not MB or GB... KB. [Denmarkguy]
I started using computer at the age of 16. me too didnt had computer subjects at school level. [shibi77trv]

First time I ever used a computer was in grade school, in one of the classes I had. I was around 10 yrs old. But at that time, we still didn't have our own computer at home. I basically used computers whenever I had computer subjects on towards high school. I also took it up in College. [MariaD]
And by the way, when did the true computer ever started a public sale? Even Microsoft introduces windows only on the the mid 90's. Even on their first introductory benifits of PC's, one would generally appreciate its Beauty of doing such one work in less time. So very efficient and convenient. Actually, i started using PC on my college years only. This was the time when computer classes are being added to the curriculum courses. Eventually, i got a new sense of interest thereon. Even after my graduation, i also take computer classes for skills advancements too. Now, computer knowledge is a must to everybody especially in places where PC is a requirement. [chewydoll]
thanks for responding.. [goalkeeper]
I started using one when I learned to type for computer type class at 15 yrs old, my freshmen year of high school. Gad 1 yrs old? Do kids use them THAT young? *L* I dont think will even let my kids when I have them on there till like 7 or 8 yrs old. They arent old enough for the net trust me! I didnt use the internet till I was 18 yrs old in college. My dad had it like a year or so before and after I started at school he let me do it at home too sometimes. :)) oh well its cool. I was fine without computers before I had them. Guess todays kids are different. [monkeywriter]

my first encounter a computer was when i was 11 yrs old. but i don't recall learning anything from my teacher. that time, they just let us drew and name the parts of the computer. then in high school, we had a computer subject so i learned a few things from it. But it wasn't until we actually had one at home (i was 19) that i enjoyed the computer. now, i can do some troubleshooting aside from surf the web, and the usual things we do today ^__^ [meleshia]
I started to use a computer when I was in grade school... maybe when I was around 10? I only use it to type and print school papers. Back then the word processor was Wordstar. [redmoon]
i started using computer way back 1987( i was already 32 then) when we had a training on computer hands on. this was the year that computers were introduced in some schools and training centers. the training included understanding of the BASIC language and DATABASE. it helped me a lot. it was in 1991 (i was 36 yrs old) already)when i owned a personal computer, a 286 processor. WINDOWS then was very simple that included the word and excel programs. [ryanphil01]
I started using a computer way back in school - around 1990, which means I was 8 years old. It used to be those old PC computers, and I remember learning DOS on it. I then moved schools, and we had a computer lesson 3 times a week on an Apple Mac computer. I've been using computers for 17 years now ! Wow that's a long time ! My nephew who is 3 years old, likes to play games on the computer ! Kids are starting very young these days. [dazediva]
I started to use the computer at the age of 15 but it was just for one subject where I had computer science. But I used much of it at the age of 19. I also used internet at the same age. It was during that period and later that I learned more about the internet and its importance. Nowadays we see children using the computer and also internet at the age of 6 or may be less than that. [nrmrreddi]
I started using a computer when I was around 7 which was back in the 80's. At that time of course things were not even close to how they are now. In fact at that time schools, and even most businesses didn't really even have internet. The computers were huge and loud. They all ran on DOS (Disk Operating System). Which means all you had was a black screen to work with and had to learn lots of commands to perform specific computer operations. A few years up the road in the early 90's we had Windows 3.1 and 3.11 which brought to us the early UI (User Interface). Now I am 22 almost 23 and can't believe how temendously fast the technology world has evolved. The rate at the improvements taking place are just incredible. [ChrisRock619]
