I just glanced down and smiled. When I'm on my computer I have my sweet little chihuahua snuggled in a blankie and looking up with her sweet little eyes at me, I glance down and see my little rescue dog, Charlie, at my feet and my big lab under my desk keeping my tootsies warm. LOL Next to me is a window that I can watch the birds and enjoy a soft breeze.

I am in my bedroom sitting on the edge of my bed. My monitor is on a shelf in my 'wardrobe' with the rest of it underneath ,my printer is ontop of my monitor. All around are shelves with books,the table with my sewing machines and our clothes in their shelves. Out of the window I can see the rain pouring down on the road and the cars. YAY! it is the first rainy day for weeks so the garden will be glad of the water and my water but can fill up again. [mihimolly]
When im on my computer, i usually don't take notice of things around me, except those things that are infront of my pc, the dsl modem, my cd's my cellphone. because my pc is situated against a wall nd the windows are right behind me. I like this setup for it helps me focus and concentrate more on my work, especially when im doing graphics and designing websites. [ramski]
I am sat at my desk, in fron of me is a large unit full of my cd collection, and on the wall I have a pin board covered with notes and other random things. At my feet right now Moomin, my cat, is trying to attract my attention, she probably wants food. Next to my desk, I can see out of the window in the living room, it's dull and rainy so I guess I will be staying in on the computer for a while longer :-) [recycledgoth]
I have such a wonderful view from my computer. In the mornings I sit propped in my bed, with television nearby and both of my cats are asleep on my window sill watching me type. This happens until the afternoon when they will come to my bed and start to lay on me, that is usually a sign to get out of bed and move to another room, which I usually go to the living room where the big television is, at that point my kittens will lay around my feet or on my feet near me so that I can hear them purring and they can know when I might leave my computer so they can beg for more food, I know their tricks. My pc is on my desk against the back wall of my room with the window to my right, its raining so i have the window open and enjoy listening to the rain falling down (sad but true). To my left is my unit with my tv and dvd player on it. Besides my tv is my cupboard, directly behind me is a fan just incase it gets too hot at night or something. Behind me and to my right is my fridge for keeping my drinks cold and within range, oh yeah and my bed is sort of in the corner. [darkness01]

Well I have my 3 cats laying in the window catching some rays which they love to do.LOL And sometimes one of my cats will sit right on my lap while Im on here. It makes it hard for typing. Well, the computer is in the living/kitchen area of the apartment. We have this area right now set up as a music room with computer, my two rabbits and kitchen. lol We have a very small place right now! So with that said, on my left there are drums, the computer printer, and a window. Also the telephone is there. To my right is one of my rabbits, the kitchen table and the kitchen. In back of me is my other rabbit. There's also Guitars here too. We really need a new place. lol Greets! [misstree]
I have a couple of art glass pieces at my computer desk, but mostly it's family and friend pictures. Also a Yellow Submarine Beatles set that used to belong to my niece, and that she gave to me. A bird statue and an elephant one. Little objects friends have given me. A set of lavender Candles on the file cabinet. [cremechese]

Here at work I see tons of work to do around me! Piles of it I should say- My Pittsburgh Steelers guy who is so obnoxious—he shakes his butt and sings Here we go!, several pics of my daughter and sig. other. I have a huge picture window I sit in front of- With 2 big trees- No new bird nests yet- but it's fun to watch out when there is- I also love to watch the trees get leaves- then change colors and fall off- At home- my cat is usually fighting to get on my lap but then settles next to me on her bed I made her. My daughter's toys- Whatever fun things she puts on the computer table. Its way more fun being home at the computer desk than at the work computer desk! [KrisNY]

hmm on my right I see a guy playin age of empire while smokin, and on my left tgeres only a glass windows that blur, so I cant view the outside, so I prefer to watch my monitor where you people post good discussion hehe :) [xcellen]
I am sitting at a window that i can see everything outside I can say it would be a great place for a stake out I was thinking i have 3 chihuahuas if we mated them do we have to throw a dog shower and would you expect a dowry If so i might have to reconsider Just thought no chance in hell the big dane would not let my sweethearts near him ...also on the 3 walls i have shelves with 8,000 VHS tapes and about 500 DVDs and if the fire marshal investigated it would be a fire hazard room I also have a DVD and TV on same desk so i am always watching TV when i am posting but question me on what i watched and I have no idea ..when i concentrate and focus everything else is shout out Good Luck [vmks31]
I am beside a window that leads to a small park so I see the park, the trees all the relaxing stuff :) Inside I usually see my dog sheba laying close buy and my cat bailey that tends to come close to me when I"m typing :) And to the left I see my tank and my tropical fish :) [arkaf61]
Oh, you had to ask how is the view from my window, well if you clik on the picture to enlarge it, you will get a good idea what I see. One freaking ugly looking tree on the right, on the left is another building (the terrace plaza) those are for the rich people because they have a real terrace which by the way they all close off and fill with junk as you can see. There is garbage beneath that. The soft breeze I get is the exhaust fumes from the cars parked below. You hear sounds of birds, I hear car alarms all night. And directly in front is a spectacular view of a dirty, ugly, tacky, nasty looking brick wall! [howard96h]

that's not really much that i can see when i am on my computer... i put my laptop on my living room and the only thing that i can see when i am on my computer is my TV... :-) every now and then, i also glanced through my windows to see the road outside... that's about it... i only live in a small rented flat... Well it depends on which direction I look :) Right in front of me, when a cat doesn't block my way, is the tv. If I look the other way I see a mural of a mountain scene with a lake. I look the other way I see the couch and recliner. Now the furniture might have people on it or more often then not there are cats all over it. Of course if I look down one is usually in my lap. I'm lucky right now and have it free but who knows for how long :) [emeraldisle]

Dang!!! Must be nice!! I see paperwork, papers, pens, reports, stapler, tape, notebooks... And this is at HOME!!! Well, I do have a homebased business, though, so that would explain it. OH, and I can't forget my green m&m girls!! I have a Christmas ornament one that I keep up all year long, a stuffed one that plays music (Christmas also) and a m&m house (it's also a light). My cat if it's the day time. My personal care assistant sometimes sleeping if she's on a break or sleeping at night when I'm still up working at my computer or watching TV. I also see my TV and my activist postcard collection. [cripfemme]
I have my computer on a desk. To my right is the tv, I like watching the news channels. And, on the left is book shelves full of books. On my desk I have a candle that I light and right now a bunch of papers and kind of messy looking. I have a window behind me, so I can turn around and see outsid. When i am sitting at our computer i do see my father beside me watching television because the television is at my back.And when i do sit infront of my computer i am very busy and i cant think of anything around me. [roque20]
all i see is a mess, all study books and junk laying around. cords everywhere lol. it really needs a clean up, ive cleaned it up so many times but just gets back like this so quickly. it makes me smile when you say you have your dogs around you sharing their love for you. i use to have my dog sitting on my lap when she was alive (she died just over a month ago) its such a nice feeling when they are with you and just relaxing [meljessxena]

While I am at my computer, I can glance to my left and quite often my cat, Reeces will be lying on the back of the couch near me. Across the room from me is a large aquarium full of fish. It is very relaxing to watch them swim around after a stressful day. Looking over my left shoulder, I can see out the window but there really is not much to see. I have planted some trees and flowers in my yard, but mostly all I can see from where I sit is the neighbor's yard. [kelly60]
Hi, when I'm on the computer I'm at work.... surrounded by the usual - Telephone, pens, in-tray. My mug of coffee, my hand cream, cleansing wipes and many many pictures of my little niece form the day she was born to present, some pictures of my cat too! I don't have windows to look out of tho, cos I'm stuck in the basement. Hence why my wall is covered in pictures!!! :0) [katkat3]

I have no animals in my home, but when I look at the things around me as I sit at my computer I think gosh I have to clean this mess.. My computer room is a catchall for things I take out of the others rooms and haven't a clue as to where they go. It is the evening so the curtains are closed. I have a small electric lamp to the right of where I am sitting. I can see the TV to my far right, the fireplace and a bookcase filled with books and a cd rack. There is also a bookcase to the left of the computer. Plus a sideboard. During the day I can see outside to the back garden with the green trees and green grass and plants on the patio. Our cat doesnt tend to sit by me when I am on the computer but she seems to prefer sitting on the settee. [organiclady35]

At first, it was annoying and they eventually retreated to snuggling on my feet (great way to keep them warm - my feet are always cold) . . . but now that I don't have them, I miss being annoyed like that. Mostly, I see a mess... hutches in frontof me and to the side stuffed with paper, with notes and post-its hanging off them, folder ot 'to-do" things on the side of the desk, and a bunch of books and CDs on top of the desk. My computer is in my living room. One one side i see my television set playing my favorite shows. In front of me is a window that i can see the road and my front yard so i can watch the world go by so to speak.
