Ok, so most houses have computer rooms, or the computer's kept in a family room or someone's bedroom. I just responded to a conversation about how many tvs people own. But do you have more than one computer? Most of my friends that have siblings, have one computer that they're constantly fighting over to use. I have an older brother and he has his own computer, as do I. We both have them in our rooms. But because his isn't working, he uses mine when I'm not home. (Not a problem, I used to use his before I got my own.hehe)
Anyway, do you have more than one computer in your house? Where do you keep it/them? And are people fighting over it or have you figured out some sort of schedule type deal. (I know parents who do that with their younger kids)

We have one in me and my husbands room and one in the kids room. They get an hour each on one system a day. They can play the computer or one of the game consoles.Sunday they can play all day. [reeseyj]
We have 2 computers: one in the living room and one in my mom's bedroom. We used to keep the one in the living room in the dining room, but it was just in the way. I'm getting married in 5 months and I'll be moving to a studio apartment with my husband. We're planning on putting our 2 computers in the dining area. [khakigirl]
I actually have 2 computers, but I use one and its in my bedroom. My daughters father doesnt know how to use a computer so I dont have to worry about fighting over it lol. My sister stays with me now and then and she uses it. Hopefully she will get her own though someday in the near future. [steffyhoney]
my computer was in my room but i got tried of my mom having to come in my room to use my computer so i put it in the living room [ladypg]

my computer is in my "study", where I work [preve1984]
I had a spare bedroom, which I have converted into an office. It is very convenient to have a seperate room, and I have everything froma laminator to a filing cabinet in there. I also have a laptop which does not have a specified location, although it is often in the living room and connected to the television in order to record programs for future viewing. [Asylum]
My husband and I are both into technology so we each have a computer. At first we had them in the study, but when we realised we spent more time using the computers than watching TV we moved them to the living room (which has air-conditioning). My husband has now connected his to the TV, with a wireless keyboard and mouse so he can use it from the couch! [Ishtara]
Oh, neat! I always wanted to connect my computer to my television. But mostly just so I can watch movies and all that. But that sounds pretty good. It's always nice to be able to enjoy computer time in an air conditioned space.:) [katisaurus]
The main pc is in the dining room because it's the most spacious area, and I have a laptop which I use at school. But I still prefer using the pc so it's me and my 4 sisters always fighting over it! [suprema]
I have two,one in my bedroom and another in the computer. Most of the time ,i used the notebook PC in my bedroom. [una1129]
I have a desk top computer that I keep in my bedroom. Then my husband has a laptop that he lets me use from time to time. We don't have any problems sharing either one. [robsbrooklyngirl]
We have 10 computers in our house. I have my desktop computer at my desk in the office. I have my laptop next to my chair in the livingroom. My husband's computers are at his desk in the office. He has 3 in there. His laptop is in the livingroom next to the couch. My son's computer is in his room and my daughter's computer is in her room. My son's laptop is in the livingroom by the loveseat on a shelf and my daughter's laptop is in the office to be repaired. We solved the fighting long ago by giving them their own computers. We run our own technology consultant business so we have their machines locked down to keep them safe. [michelyn]
That is the reason we have the majority of them. My son's laptop came from my father as a Honor Roll reward. He already had his desktop computer, but he really wanted a laptop and when my father upgraded his own, he passed that one down to my son. Since 3 out of 4 of us had laptops at this point, my husband bought an old laptop off of one of our clients (after upgrading them to a newer laptop) so that our daughter would have one too. Prior to my surgery in November of 2007, I had back problems for two years that limited me from sitting at my desk in the office. I got a laptop so that I could continue to work from the comfort of my recliner. The rest of the extra machines in the office are business related and are servers and/or storage boxes. [michelyn]
Because I am single, and I live in the single room. So I have to put my computer in my bedroom, just beside my bed. [annie758]
There is only one computer in our(me and my wife)bedroom. I like playing games, but seldom have chance to do it. My wife forbidden me to pay much more time on it. She ofen say: it's harmful for health sitting in front of computer all day...... [spiderknight]
I have my laptop I use in the kitchen at my desk and my son has his computer in his room it's not hooked up to the internet whereas my laptop is. My husband has a computer but it is not put together yet he is a long haul truck driver so when he is home he usually just uses my laptop. [Amberina]
I have only one computer, which is at my Bedroom. And becuase i am the only one who uses that computer, thats why its in my room. My elder brother has his own laptop, so he didn't have any problem with my computer at all. [mnsrwt123]
im hving computer in my home and in my house .. as its a technological age every where u can find a computer ... in coming future u can find them in roadsides aslo [Sunmav]
Hi ya there. Our Desktop Computer is with the TV above it in the Lounge cos everyone uses it. The Laptop is in My Room mainly cos it's actually mine but it most probably will be all over the place soon cos it'll have the Net on it. This one has the Net already on it of course. [pretty_babe]
i have a desktop in my room. mostly me and my bro use compu, both are using computer in his fix time. he is only chating his friend and working little bit.so, there is no fighting subject to using computer [teamalok]
My computer is in the living room, next to the TV so when people watch TV and I am on the PC I get mad LOL the other two ones are in my bedroom :) fourth one is on the way LOL [nageki]
My husband and I each have our own computer, and they are both in the small second bedroom we have. It's a tiny house, and this is the only place they would fit. [Ldyjarhead]
We only have one laptop in the house. Mostly it stays in my bedroom, but sometimes, I let the kids take it to thier room to use for homework. i keep a tab on what they are doing online also. I can also take my laptop to the park and work there or anywhere I am going. [kaysue4]
I keep my computer in the dining room which is open to the kitchen and pretty close to the living room - this way I can keep aware of the goings ons in other areas of the house. my 18 yr old has a computer of his own which he keeps in his room. [Modestah]
We have three computers in our house the one i use is in the living room. Then we have one out in the hall which my youngest use that way i can keep a eye on them. There is also a computer in my boys bedroom which the eldest ones use. As we have a wireless network and the defult computer is the one in the living room i can cut them off any time if i think that they have been on it too long or if there is any arguments. [littleone3]
i have one computer in my room and my father have one laptop for himself with him [vinay049]
its out in the open, My brother is too caught up in his XBOX, to care about how much computer time I have gotten compared to him. [Courtom]
We have 3 computers, we have a desktop and 2 laptops, desktop is supposed to be mine and then my hubby and my eldest son have a laptop each, which has been working out really well. Well until my sons went kaput and cant be fixed, and so he is on mine whenever I turn my back! But now my hubbys cable is on its way out and although I keep telling him to get another, he wont until it doesnt work no more and then I will have to fight him off my computer as well! [gemini_rose]
We have 3. Two are in our "dining room" (which is not even big enough for a table, gotta love apartments!), the third is in my sons room. [sedel1027]
I have a seperate room for my computer but that is because I am trying to build a home business so I am turning this room into an office. [sheric529]
I used to have just a computer in my room. Then that computer broke and I did not bother to move it away. After that I bought a new computer in which I put it down on the floor in the living room. Well, then I bought a laptop. Kinda complicated. [krautking]
well.in the hall(my english is poor.so I don't kown how to type this word.)so everyone can use.when I need to use it.they will let me first.but I want to have my own computer. [haogui_hu]
We have a few computers but only one of them laptops ever get used most of the time. We use it the most in the living room sitting on the couch. But, since it is a laptop we can take it anywhere. We don't have a schedule or anything. I use it the most and my husband will use it sometimes if I'm not. [moneyandgc]
I just have 1 dat too in my Bedroom...Yes my Bro n i alz hv a fight since we own only one.. [shraddhaswnt211]
Recently I got a new to me laptop computer. I already had a desktop computer, and was finding that my kids were asking to use it more and more. It seemed like the logical thing to do, to get another computer to help ease the stress on everyone. So we have 2 computers in our home. The laptop is mostly mine. I don't really let the boys use it, although when I first got it, I let them try it out. That makes the desktop mostly the boys', although there are certain things I can only do on it (like burn dvds), so I sometimes still use it. The desktop computer is in the dining room, where everyone can see what's going on on the screen. It's one of those strategies I heard about to help keep kids safe on the net. If anyone and everyone can see what they're up to, they're less likely to get into any illegal activities and such. The laptop is usually kept in the living room. I love how I can lay on the couch, watch tv, AND post on mylot! It's GREAT! Sometimes the laptop makes its way up to my bedroom, but that was more when I had a certain game addiction on facebook, and I no longer play that. [CanadaGal]
I have two computers in my house, that I use is in my room, instead using the other family is in the kitchen. [gkat92]
I live in a studio apartment. So unfortunately there are no other rooms. I have the computer on a table in one corner of my room. [fec139]
my husband and i both have computers. The desktops are in the computer/kitty room and of course our laptops travel around with us. i'm glad i don't have to share mine. [pepsigrlfan]

i have two computers, laptop, and a desktop. the desktop is in the living room of my apartment. and so is the tv,so,my laptop is in the living room too.at night,i take the laptop into the bedroom and work little bit more on it. :) i only use the laptop more than the desktop though.I love my laptop. [BUSSY1979]
Before I moved to Univeristy and got a laptop, there was a family computer and my Dad's laptop in the house. both kept in the "computer room" in our house - more like my Dad's office. My sister and I used to bicker constantly over whose turn it was on it, especially in the evenings and over internet usage. Our parents never put restrictions on the compter use unless we had exams (not that we followed these restrictions) [beki710]
My huaband and I both have our computers in the living room. His is a PC at a desk, and mine is a laptop. When I use my laptop I usually sit on the couch where it's comfortable, with our cat batting at my hands, the entire time I'm using it. [danishcanadian]
