i have my computer in my daughter's room , it is because she need to use computer quite offen , it more convienience for her . another one in my study room , which has no internet, for my husband to use for his work . the last computer is in my youngest daughter's room , it's a old computer for her to play game . [janiceines]
Thanks but you forgot the two things in the rooms where those computers are that you are greatful for.?????sad [muscles4me]

My computer is in my living/family room. It is beside the television and is viewable by everyone that sits in the room. It is here because it is shared by several people in the family. My daughter has a laptop in her room but the boys and I share this one mainly. Also we like to watch movies on the computer so it is nice to have it in here where we can all sit on the couch and watch a movie together. [vicki2876]
It sounds like your computer sure gets alot of use. I hope you never agrue about who uses the computer and when. OH.....You forgot the 2 things in the room your computer is in that you are greatful for. [muscles4me]

when my son left home i took his room & made me a little den & that's where my computer is. that's where i stay most of the time. i am thanful for all the pictures i have in here of my kids & grandkids & for this ol' dog lying over here in my recliner, lol. [ANTIQUELADY]
i enjoy it alot. i didn't mention my Elvis things are in here to. my neighbor was over other night & we came in here top do something on the computer & she said i love this room. i will give casey a hug from u. she'll like that. have a happy day. [ANTIQUELADY]

I have a computer in my office at home but I hardly ever use it because I feel too isolated from the rest of the family so I use my trusty laptop pretty much all the time; it is so much nicer to be able to sit anywhere with it while I work. You want to know what it is that I am grateful for? I am sitting in my lounge room with my laptop in my knees and in the chair next to me is the one person I thank God for every day, my daughter. She is seven and she is my miracle. I tried for almost six years to conceive and was unable to do it; I spent years going through fertility treatments and surgeries. My little angel came of her own accord when I had lost all hope and she is what I am most grateful for, that's for sure! The other thing I am grateful for are my beautiful cats that are curled at my feet, they too are beautiful and loving. happy [paula27661]
A home office is nice to have and have a joyful heart for your daughter and cats. [muscles4me]

our computers are in the dinning room and living room. i had one in my office which i gave up since my nephew needed a place to live. but what i greatful for pretty much everything i have. [syankee525]
My computer is in the same place as yours because its close to the phone line and I am on dial up. It sounds like you have gratitude for many things and that is good. [muscles4me]

Like my name, My PC is a HICCUP, its a laptop so where I go so does it. Silly as it sounds, I had a HICCUP and l;ost my PC to my EX wife, #@*^#$^%, So I needed something fast and could travel like me, so a laptop it was. One day I will get a bench tp PC but that is in the future, and its not important to me. I like laptops, so portable and they do have the size you need, to that you can get external hard drives fairly large that you can transfer what ever to. The laptop will do me for sometime yet. HICCIP/ [hiccup]
I have heard that any place you hang your hat is home but for you it sounds like anyplace you open your laptop is home!happysurrender [muscles4me]

We have a four bedroom home so I changed one of the bedrooms into a computer room. Our kids are grown and married. I chose this room since it was basically empty and a good place to place the computer and desk. I am grateful in this room for my Elvis wall. Maybe I am reverting back to my teenage years but still think he's the king. Also grateful for the new ceiling fan and the newer furniture. [carolbee]
No kidding. The humidity is to high today it's miserable. We had 3 ceiling fans installed about 2 years ago. Makes a big difference since 3 of the bedrooms are upstairs. [carolbee]

Oh LaLa Muscles you grew some muscles. Back to your question, my computer is in my dining room, we don't dine in it except when I eat at my computer. it just sort of happened that I have my computer where it is at. I like it there to. Its in the center of my house, I can keep an eye on everything else. I really don't need the privacy, plus I wouldn't want to be shut up in a little room, I like to be in the open. Now on to your second question, I am grateful for the heater. Also I am grateful for the ceiling fan in this room. Interesting question.. [Polly1]
Dining at the computer huh? Well just don't bring new meaning to the phrase STICKY KEYS, go easy on the pbj! [muscles4me]

my is in the kitchen,i am great full for my refrigerator and the food we have. [wildcat48]
Brief and to the point, I thank you very much. Nice to be able to get a cold drink with straying to far from the computer. [muscles4me]

Hi Muscles: Your new "avatar" threw me there for a minute LOL!! Since I moved to my new place, I'm afraid my computer is set up on my kitchen table which is also in the front room, these people that design these units need to be slapped upside the head as they NEVER EVER have phone outlets or the TV CAble in a place that you want it to be in; There is no extra phone like hookup in the room I have set up for my computer, if I was still using DIAL UP like I had for 9+ Years then I'd be in there but the last year or so I've been using DSL ..SOOOOOoo much better and faster, so anyway since the stupid phone line is in the kitchen/slash washer/dryer area and the DSL line is only like 3 feet long or so that's why my computer is set up on my kitchen table, I've not had money to invest in a longer DSL LINE to run back into the computer room/extra bedroom..nor any extra $$money$$ to have a phone line installed back there...it sucks to be broke all the time you know? So one advantage to having my computer sitting on my kitchen table is that I can watch my tv shows on my big TV...which I'm grateful for that... and I pray its only a temporary situation even though I've already been here two months now... Let's see what else am I grateful for?? WHY MY DSL OF COURSE!!! being on dial up all those years was AWFUL!! HATED IT!! I have another one I'm grateful for, I'm grateful my 10 year old computer and monitor are still working...ROTFL!! and my 32 year old TV console...Yep its 32 years...the color on some of the stations, the people is REALLY BAD, like in pinkish, orangey color and some stations the color is normal..my main local channel , channel 8 out of Columbia, MO most of the time they are 'GREENISH' in color...EEWWW!! but I'm grateful they are still working as I have nooooo extra money to replace either of them; so what are you grateful for Muscles?? sorry the old clatterassss here got so "windy"...LOL!! [dreamweaverjan]
Hi Muscles: LOL! I don't think your new avatar is offensive, just wish I could "see those muscles" more clearer LOL!! I associate friends on here with the "colors" or style or cats or whatever it is they have on the avatar, like on mine, the color of the black cat and purple on there always "catch my eye", so when I'm scrolling through the discussions that's what draw my attention first, then the person's name; I know I'm a strange one right? LOL!! don't answer that lol lol [dreamweaverjan]

Our computer is in our living room. We selected that location intentionally. With a teenager in the house, it conveniently allows us to see what websites she's accessing. Looking around the room the two things that I'm grateful for are the computer and the television. The latter keeps the rest of the family busy, giving me more time online.lol [catdla1]
Growing up (before pc's and vcr's glare) I used to have a tiny 9 inch tv in my bedroom. I had saved up babysitting money to buy it, and it was wonderful. It had a radio-style pull-up antennae, and believe it or not, I got more channels than my parents did...who had cable tv. Back then people were thrilled to get 13 channels on cable, and on my tv I received 22 channels. I was a great little set, and I missed it when I finally wore out. We have a tv in our bedroom now, but I can't remember the last time it was turned on. I use my bedroom as a reading as well. It's frequently the only room in the house that's relatively quiet. [catdla1]

i use a laptop so there is no specific place i put it =P [pelastikbintang]
OK,,,,,BUT! What 2 things do you have to be greatful for in any one room of your hom. [muscles4me]

My computer's in my bedroom. By the way, I still sleep with my mother and siblings. I sleep with them because we only have three bedrooms in the house. One is used by our helper, another is used by my aunt and the biggest is used by us. Even though I do not want my computer inside our bedroom, I still have no say on the matter. There is no bigger place in the house to contain the desktop aside from my bedroom. And... *looks around*I am greatly grateful for the air-con and the TV. I can look at the net without worrying about the temperature as well as do my projects while watching TV. lol. Seriously, I am grateful for my family and the bathroom. lol [SinfulRose]
Sounds like you must have a pretty big bedroom. Family is something to be grateful for thats for sure/ [muscles4me]

My computer is in my room and I am grateful to have that room first of all as I like my privacy and secondly I can see my medals and Awards right in front of me and almost everything I need is here so yes I am grateful to Allah, the almighty and secondly to my father :) [Maryam27]
Medals and awards are something me work hard for and should be proud of. [muscles4me]

hiya muscles4me I have my desktop PC in my front room (living room) and yes that was my main reason for having it in here so that the family can use it if/when they visit. I have my laptop which I use in the bedroom when I need privacy or when I get tired. I am grateful for the paintings that the kids and I did yesterday, it reminds me I do have a life on the weekends lol and I am grateful for the display cabinet I got recently (cheap from a neighbour) as that got away the Ornaments I still had packed away from the flitting. Can I ask why you wanted to know that from friends/members? Great thought though! Alice happy [Aliceinwebland]
ahhh ok. thanks for letting me know.. curiosity n all that lol. It makes me think you have a 5 roomed home and also makes me think of the other 8 things I would be grateful for... 3 I could name right now, t.v (with remote controls lol) toilet and bed. It may seem odd to say toilet but don't forget some people don't have the luxury of the most basic of facilities like this. [Aliceinwebland]

Our computer is in our bedroom, on a makeshift desk of two filing cabinets and a peice of plywood. It is here because that is where there is room for it. All four people on the house use it so we have to take turns. What I can see right now that I'm most grateful for are my bed and the clothes in the closet. [caver1]
My bed is over 50 years old. It belonged to my grandparents and I inherited it I suppose. (Note: the mattress is not 50 years old.) It has a matching chest of drawers, a nightstand and a dresser with a big round mirror. [caver1]

Hopefully, my home computer is in my home. LOL Seriously, my computers are located in the living room. This allows access for everyone. It also means the activities can be monitored. Two things in this room I am grateful for are: The lights and the electricity. [royal52gens]
Have you ever had to intervene while you were monitoring? A couple of years ago we were without power both whre I work and at home for several days, it was no fun thats for sure. [muscles4me]

I have a small room at the back of my house for my computer work. It is just off the dining room. If I look around, there is so much I'm grateful for--there are pictures of my sons, there are two windows where I can enjoy the breeze and see my lovely back yard, there are pretty plants in here and shelves of books and cds to read and listen to. And there's my telephone, where I can actually talk to the people I love who aren't living here! happy [dragon54u]
I also enjoy looking out the window while I am on the computer. [muscles4me]

I have a computer room. All the computers are located in this room, except our laptops. We take them to other rooms thru the house. Our computer room is located on the second floor, because then I can not hear the music from the games they play. While I look around I can say that I am thankful for my children and myself. We are all located in this room at this time.Have a great day! [DkAngelPrincess]
The way some of that game music is I do not blame you for not wanting to hear it. [muscles4me]

Im using a computer for family use so it's located at the living room where anyone can use it. It's near the television and chairs, and a little closer to the dining area. [angelbelle578]
Does the tv ever distract you when you are on the computer. Has the tv ever given you any ideas for mylot discussions. [muscles4me]

My computer is in a extra bedroom. I turned it into a small office and No although it has a door, I didn't choose it for privacy. I had to choose one of the bedrooms since I live in a trailer there isn't enough space to put it elsewhere but a bedroom. On occasion yes people do use my computer when staying with me or theirs are messed up. Two things?Besides my computer? Well, right now since it is hot and scorching I am grateful for my fan. The second thing I guess is for my printer that allows me to print off Coupons to save money. [mtdewgurl74]
Just printed some hot off the printer a few minutes ago..Hey if you can save $5-$40 or more per shopping trip..that has got to account for something and adds up to a big savings. [mtdewgurl74]

we have 3 computers, one in the living room, dining room, and one upstairs in front of my kids rooms. the one im using now is in the dining room two things i am grateful for that is in this room is the dining table and the dining chair (of course)... rasp. the table is where i put the computer and the chair is where i sit on it. that's why im very grateful for these two things here. lol [jayrene]
good for you for being so happy over these things. Take care [muscles4me]

I have my desktop on my dinning room table. Why there and not on my desk? Because I can watch TV, cook and do other things while on line. My laptop is in my bedroom on my desk so I can get online if I wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep. I am grateful I have cable to get on the WWW. I am grateful for having a roof over my head since I lost my house to the 3 hurricanes and tornadoes that hit Florida in 2004. I will never forget how hard that was to get over. I still pray for those who lost everything to Katrina. Oh yes I am grateful I have a PC which helps me make money on-line. I am mostly grateful that I survived that disaster. [Kowgirl]
Hello, Yes, my computer is one that I forgot to say that I'm extramly greatful for, but as I stated before in my responce that i'm greatful everything that is my bedroom and that is the truth. Happy My Lotting! [onlinerep01]

I have a wireless Dell laptop and have it in my room. I have it in a case and take it out when I use it. I love having wireless but it can be a hassle if the place I go into doesn't have it. I have been lucky so far with Cable One and their internet service. Never any problems. I am greatful for the walk-in closet and a nice sized room. All things considered I have a pretty good situation. [celticeagle]
It is all convenience and mobility for me. I love it! Don't know what I would do with a desk top. Space can really be an issue. [celticeagle]

we own a desktop in my parent's house. we place it in our living room. everybody can use it even my 5year old nephew. i use it when i'm home. since i'm not with them, i own a laptop and so i can carry it anywhere. [thaMARKER]

Hello, My computer is in my bedroom, I like my computer here because my bedroom is a quiet private place, I also work from home with my computer in my bedroom. I will have to say that I'am thankful for everything that is in my bedroom, but most importantly I'am thankful for my air conditioner that is in my room curently because summer is less thena month away here in the USA. I'am also thankful for my bed because when ever I'am ready to lye down and take a nap or rest, my bed is 30 seconds aways from me (smiles). Happy My Lotting! [onlinerep01]
I know, even though my bed is very UNcomfortable I sm glad its there when the sandman drops sand in my eyes. [muscles4me]

Our computer is in the living room, we put it in here so it can be used by others. The two things I am grateful for is the fireplace so we can stay warm and the couch so we can have a place to rest and cuddle up sometimes. [walijo2008]
A nice comfy couch by a fireplace sounds like a peaceful thing in the wintertime. [muscles4me]

My computer is in my room. Anyone who needs the computer may use it in my room. I use it for work, to watch movies, for research and of course login at mylot. The reason why I have it in my room is because I feel it is the best place. My living room has a television so anyone on the computer would be distracted. It is not in my childrens room because they are still young and go to bed early and I would not be able to use the computer when they are sleeping. In this room I am grateful for my bed and my computer! [tashakau]
I think its safer for a computer to be in a parents room anyway. [muscles4me]

i actually use a laptop and i always use it in my bedroom now... so i can get as much privacy as i can surfing the net and doing the stuffs on the internet... about the 2 things that i am grateful about in my bedroom (on top of my hubby) are the queen size bed and the TV that i always watch everyday while i am surfing the net... take care and have a nice day... [lingli_78]
I also like to have the tv on while I am surfing the net. [muscles4me]

We all have laptops, so they go where we go. Right now, it is in the livingroom on my lap while I am in the rocking chair. As for two things in this room that I am grateful for....that is sooo easy, because sitting right across from me on the loveseat is my youngest daughter. On the couch next to me is my husband. I am so grateful for them. God gave me a man who adores me and is good to me. He puts our family first, and is such a good daddy! My daughter just finished her freshman year of college. She is an honor student who still treats her dad and I with respect and is very involved in her college group at church. She wants to teach preschool or Kindergarten when she finishes school. [carpenter5]
That's very sweet of you. It has been a tough year, and I think if my faith hadn't been as strong as it was, life would have been really different for our family. It's frustrating to deal with job loss, family deaths, illnesses and injuries that cause things like a loss of college scholarships. But you know, all these things come together to make us stronger. [carpenter5]

I have my monster of a computer desk and computer in my living room. Since I live alone I don't have privacy issues..LOL...unless of course you count my two kitties--and they are rather good about it and rarely jump up on the desk I see you're into the "gratitude" thing...I have a gratitude notebook and write at least one thing I'm grateful for every day, no matter how I'm feeling. Looking around in my living room the one real major thing I'm grateful for....having a roof over my head---can't be more grateful than that, right? The second...the mere fact I have my own computer! I did without for four years before getting my own Here's a picture of my computer desk and computer [pyewacket]
Hi pye and 4paws, Applause for you pye for being able to sit yoga style. And it is a nice looking desk and also thanks for the gratitude list items. 4paws just don't use one of the kitties for a pillow.lol [muscles4me]

I have one in my bed room and the other one is in the living room. I don't like to share mine in the bedroom because they can use the one in the living room. Planning to buy a laptop though.. [technoobs]

we have only one computer at home. its in the lvng room .. dad wont allow us to have our own computer in our room. idk why.. but since im running 21 this year.. i think im old enough to have my own.. [makino]

my desktop is in my spare bedroom turned computer room. 2 things that i am grateful for? my psychedelic 70's posters and lava lamp! [4pawsx4]
lol naw, i put that in the garage to keep the mice away!! [4pawsx4]

I do not have this issue too much attention. may be I do not care about such things now . I think I realized that the theme you have asked that this kind of yo. Will be concernd about the future .I think this is indeed very important yo. I was too busy working life of the forgotten some small details , is worthy of discussion .I like this theme . I hope you a lot of effort and continue to write . [protel87]
I think what they're saying is, they don't thank God for the belongings that are around them but look at the bigger picture - the wide world outside. I'm pretty muchin that vein myself, plasma screen notwithstanding. [jazzsue58]

My computer is in my front room..and I am the only one that uses it. And what I am greatful for is...let me look...my dog and my computer...would go crazy with out either of them. [hoghoney]
I would go crazy without my two cats. I used to have a dog, I had her for close to 18 years and I really do miss her. I think about her all the time. [muscles4me]

in the bedroom:)) for privacy [jazel_juan]

There is just my wife and I living in our house so now we each have our own home-office rooms. We used to have just the one computer, but it was difficult as we both often needed to use it at the same time. If I am to look around this room now, I will say I can grateful for my computer and my larger desk that I have it on. I used to have a work station, but it was too small. happy - Derek [derek_a]
I work from home, so I have my computer on most of time to answer e-mails for my business. My wife goes to an outside office to work, and she's on computers all day there. My computer here goes off about 6-7 each evening, and about 1.30 pm at weekends when my wife it at home on her computer too. We have a rule to spend every evening together, and every weekend afternoon together doing other things like going out etc. happy - Derek [derek_a]

I have a home office, so that's where my computer is, but it's a laptop (don't have a desktop right now) so I take it into the living room or kitchen sometimes for a change of pace. Finding two things I'm grateful for in this room is easy, but finding the two that I'm MOST grateful for is not. My sewing machine is in here, and I'm grateful for that because it's time consuming to sew everything by hand. I'm also grateful for the window air conditioner, which was new last year. It gets really hot in here in the summer without it - but then, I'm grateful for the heater in the winter, too! :) [peavey]
Summers where I live a very hot so I know how you feel about the trusty ole window ac. I just dress warmer in the winter and I am also on the second floor which helps. [muscles4me]

Our home computer is located in the living room because it's the most accessible place for everyone to use. The two things I am grateful for in this room now are my mom sitting in the couch watching TV and my brother cooking for dinner ;) they are the best ;) [cecillecarmela]
So then, is your brother a good cook? [muscles4me]

I have my computer in my own room itself. I am the one who uses it most. My sis use it if she wants to listen to songs or play games. Parents never use, coz they are not used to these computers.... [vjsinduja]

As a writer, my puter is in the worst possible place - the lounge! But it's the nearest modem point to the hallway phone, and they need to be as close as possible to each other or else I don't get a DSL signal - great, Sky, I thank you. Actually, I kinda do thank Sky, cos I've also got my big plasma screen in that room, and when the kids are in bed I watch the documentary channels and make notes - much more honest than 'rewriting' what other people have posted on the net! Just a pity they don't have a pink hair tongs channel, lol. My other thing would be my big picture window, so I can see my front garden. We lived in a lovely cottage for years, until my ex lost it for us. I moved here with the kids a year ago, from a godawful flat in town. My current house is a rented ex-council semi on an estate, but every day I look at my little garden and thank God my new career is taking me one step closer to my dream home - an old cottage with walled gardens and a big chimney stack, like I used to own. Yeah, I get days when the gym doesn't appeal as well! [jazzsue58]

We have a "computer" room. He has his own desktop and I have mine. Our desks are right across the room from each other and we can both happily surf the web without someone waiting for the other to get off the computer. We are majorly computer geeky people. We are the only two that live in the house so there is no problem with having to share with others as well. We also have our own laptops for travel, but I keep mine downstairs because it allows me to work from any room I want to. I am grateful for the pictures that I have of my family which sit in front of me everyday. I am also grateful that when he is home, we are sitting in the same area doing what we love to do and having conversations the entire time. We both work from our computers, him to make extra money and me to make a living so I am grateful for that as well. [ddhawkins63]

My computer is in the spare room-office/sewing/dressing room. Thankful for the fact that the roof does not leak and my cats keep me company in here all the time. Loved this question more for the last part of things grateful for----we need to think more often about the things we have and appreciate but yet take for granted. Thanks much for making ME think and observe. Good day to you!!! [shelly53]

Dining room where we do anything but dine. In early AM are my hubbie and my cats. Very greatful for both of them. [writersedge]

I have my computer in my craft room. It's where I spend most of my spare time, either sewing, making cards or on the computer. My adult son has one in his bedroom and there's a laptop we both now share if we need one. Two things I'm grateful for are:- The hedgehog ornaments sat on my computer, (they were a gift from my son so a constant reminder that even though he never says it, he loves me) and the dog who is with me wherever I am in the house. She's either become very protective of me in the last 2 months since the death of my husband or she's missing him and needs the reassurance that I'm OK. [Annmac]

My home computer is in the living room. Yes, we picked this place but not for privacy, but for comfort. Two things that I'm grateful for? Well, that would be the internet connection, and uhm, the television, ha ha ha.. [minniemadz]

When I moved in with my fiance and his parents the computer was already here. It's a spare bedroom. Right now the two things that I am thankful for that are in this room are one in the same, our workbooks for our pre-marital counseling. We're going through counseling before we marry so that we can learn to communicate etc and be able to get through tough times. [SomeCowgirl]

Duh. My computer is in my home and I am grateful for my computer and the modem that connects me to myLot. [SteveSlaton]

We have two computer in my home. One is for all use in drawing room and other is in my bed room. Actually, in the drawing room computer is a desk top computer and my personal computer is a laptop. Though it can use anywhere but I feel free to use in my bed room. We have join family here. You know, the member of a join family always want to stay with altogether. But I have some problem. I am not sure is it a problem or not, that I like to leave alone. The other family members want me to give company with them, but I use my laptop here and feel happy with it. [mizandhk]

I have to place mine according to the plugs sockets, though I do like to be near a window as I mostly use the computer for writing. [Elspethr]
That is the way mine is too, so I actually face a wall but can look up and out a window. [muscles4me]

Whatever room I happen to be in using it since I have a laptop. I had a PC, still have it, and it collects dust in the den. I love my laptop! [nanajanet]

My computer is in my extra room (or what my husband and I call our office). We picked this place for the computers because it's really the only place that we have room. Plus, we wanted to be able to have it in a room where we could have all our office type stuff. And two things that I am greatful for in this room would have to be my husband and my dogs. [cortney09]
I gave my dogs the hug for you. They are always right by our side no matter where we are in the house. [cortney09]

Mine is in the dining room so everyone has access to it. With a young girl, I am not willing to put it in a room where it cannot be easily monitored. Two things I am grateful for- well, my daughter is in here with me, so that would be a biggie.happy The other would be my vacuum- with a cat and a toddler, my feet would look like they had never seen shoes from all the stuff stuck to the bottom without it. [milkmaid]
LOL......sometimes I feel like I could knit a new cat every month with all the cat hair between my two. But I still love them. [muscles4me]

I have a laptop so my home computer can be in any room of my house but I keep it in the livingroom for the most part. Its more convenient in the livingroom,I'm grateful for my tv and my dvr. [Crysi23]

My laptop is in my living room and no one else uses it but me. I look around and have not 2 but three living things I am grateful for....my three little dogs. They watch every move I make and I suspect they watch all the chihuahua videos on YouTube when I am not home and that is where they learn all their naughty tricks. [whiteheather39]
I love those little chihuahua doggies. My dog was part chihuahua and she is gone now, I really miss her. I do have two cats and I do wondor where they get their ideas from.LOL... [muscles4me]

next to living room. Two things I'm grateful for my books my yarn and my stiens. Oh my I could go on. My pic. of my family. I have a lot of things in this room that mean a great deal to me. You have a wonderful day and what a great discussion. Your friend onlydia [onlydia]
Yes the books are so nice to have. I got called back to work. WOO HOO Your friend onlydia [onlydia]

Im renting a basement apt. Originaly it was just my bedroom i was renting. So all my valueables are in there. Besides its the only door down here that locks. [jdyrj777]

I am grateful I get my own computer. Evryone in my family has their own we don't own a home computer anymore. I am grateful for my computer, my dog sitting neside me, my family and lotsa other things even though I lost my job last monday. I am grateful I have aprt time job lined up and maybe a better one starting later. I am very thankful! [csrobins]
sorry about the job loss and I hope another one arrives soon that you really like and that pays very well. [muscles4me]

Just recently i transfer my computer to our living room from my room because i put another one single bed for my daughter in our room, second reason is i can easily know whether my son is studying his lessons or just watching television cause when my pc was in my room he used to have more time in watching than to study then i just ignored it most of the time cause i'm busy doing my online activities. Two things inside our room that i can consider grateful; one is aircon, we feel comfortable and relax when we turn-on it especially during summer it so hot. Second is that we have a wide window that can lessen hot temperature during day or night when we open it and it helps to lessen our electricity bill. [gracypure]
I is nice when it is not too too hot to turn on the ac so that we can open a window and be cool enough. [muscles4me]

Interesting discussion and thoughts. My Computer is located in our living room on my L shaped computer desk. It is always left on for others to use, unless it has just done an update and then it needs a special code to log in. As for 2 things in this room I am thankful for, well, #1 is my husband, and #2 would have to be either our Condo which is a roof over our heads, or the fireplace which we use to keep warm in during the winter months. [KrauseHome]
My condo is paid for and I am thankful for that sdepecially after the my lot discussion s few months back about tent cities. By the way good luck with the sale of your condo. I would also like to sell some day and get in the city but I can wait a couple years or more for that. [muscles4me]

My computer is located in the spare bedroom because this is the only room in our small house where there was room for it. It does provide a certain amount of privacy, though. It is far enough away from both of our 2 TV sets that no matter which one my husband is watching, it doesn't bother me. Your request for two things in this room for which I am truly grateful has been more difficult. It's not the closet full of nice clothes, although, I appreciate being able to afford them. It's not the stack of shoe boxes full of family pictures that I need to get motivated to put in albums. Those snapshots of my children and grandchildren are precious to me. It's not the stack of old 78 Albums of music that we played back in the '50s when we were first married, though they bring back pleasant memories. I believe that I am most thankful for the memories that the room itself brings back. You see, it was our daughter's room. She loved this room and once wrote on the wall in the closet that she never wanted to leave. Of course, she did. She met the man who is now her husband and moved a thousand miles away. When she comes with her family, one of the children will sleep in her old bed. Choosing the second thing in this room for which I'm thankful is more difficult. It is a toss up between the computer and the phone, because they are both a link to our friends and family. [bellis716]
Ya know, I forgot all about the phone since I do not like to talk on the phone. But I have dialup and if I did not have phone service I would not have the computer. [muscles4me]

My computer is in my dining room, but right at the edge of the living room. I can see what is going on in all the rooms that way. [Thoroughrob]

i have it in my bedroom because the days i dont feel good i stay in bed.. the two things im grateful for are my tv and my sleep number bed lol [moonlitmagikchild]
i did when i got it.. yeah it totally cured my Insomnia that i have had for years! with having a pain condition its nice to adjust the softness too.. i got the adjustable kind so i dont have to stuff pillows behind me to watch tv now lol [moonlitmagikchild]

my computer in my living room , it is just for convenient. [jancex_spring]

my computer is set up in the dining room of my townhouse, between the kitchen and a slide door. on my left is my hdtv, where i sometimes watch tv as i type. i am grateful that i have this townhouse and my car, as i work on building my online writing sites. check out my articles on ehow, triond, bukisa and ac, and look for fifileigh. i also enjoy my cat near my as i type away. [fifileigh]
I always enjoy the company of my cats too. You should get a second cat. talk about entertainment watching two cats with two different personalities. [muscles4me]

its in a room we call the playroom. Our girls Toys are in there. Its a mess right now but I'm glad its where I can just shut the door when i need to. [mflower2053]
I thought playrooms were suppose to be a mess!lol. It is nice to have privacy when we are on the computer even though it is noting we are trying to hide. [muscles4me]

I placed my computer at my own private room. It has television and DVD player, and everything on it. It just my own private area. Actually, I have several computers all stocked in my own bedroom, and the other room for my main desktop computer. I usually share it with my father. So, he can check on his stock price on that computer also. [clorissa123]

I love my computer room this is where I do my internet work, there is no clutter in the room and my desk is clean Im allergic to dust so I dust very often[ almost every day]in this room there are pictures of my family, events that I have attend to, several certificates I have achieved over the years I also have a picture of Marilyn Monroe, Humpry Bogart, James Dean[they are an inspiration]My Archangel Ariel is sitting on my desk [ she is the sign of prosperity] and Im lucky so Im thankful, so at the end of the day this is the room that holds all that is me and Im grateful for it. [alottodo]

Right now it is in the kitchen area. I plan to finish my room right now used for storage, a pretty enclosed back porch, and then put it there. All I have to do is remove the clutter and clean it really well and set evrything up when I get the time. [taface412]
It's more like an extra room. And yeah it will be warm and cool enough. Right now I just use it as storage. [taface412]

Our home computer is a laptop. It's usually in the living room/dining room (they are connected) but it will sometimes end up in the bedroom or out and about. I'm grateful for my dogs. They hang out with me while I'm on the computer. And I'm thankful for my hubby. He's fantastic. I couldn't ask for anyone better. [harmonee]
Fairly newlywed. It'll be 2 years in September. [harmonee]

I actually have a desktop which is located in the living room. I pound on my keyboard almost everyday, as my work deals much with the internet. However, i also have a mobile phone that is wifi ready. This is for the reason that i can actually check on my email without having to open up my desktop. Also, i can just search and make research when i am in the bedroom, and this is just for instances and situations when i have to check my mailbox, or find answers for something immediately on the same instance. This makes it handy for me to access the internet when i am at any part of the house. [safejunk]
as a matter of fact, i work anywhere because i am at sales, and purchases are made thru the internet.that is why i have to check my emails constantly. [safejunk]

We seldomly use our home computer.. because me and my bro's and sis have our own laptops in our rooms. I usually connect via WiFi and it's very convenient. :) Ok for the two things I'm grateful for...I'm grateful for my bed? lol! because I'm able to use the internet even if im laying in bed... and uhm.. my AC xD keeps me comfortable while im in my room :P [chiepao]

My home has three bedrooms. One for me, one for my parents (yes, I still live with them, what a shame!) and the third one is a sort of guest room. Before my grandmother dies, this room was called alternately "grandma´s room" and "computer room". We decide that room was the ideal place for the computer owing to lack of space. Obviously, the room is quite private, but the rest of my family is not interested in computers, so this is not very important. Two things? Let me think...Maybe a portrait of my girlfriend located to the right of the screen and the cushion my grandmother used to use to have a nap. DEfinitely two important objects for me. [mano5chi]

I keep a laptop and use it in the living room when I am at home. I choose the living room because it's the only room in the house with lots of space. The two things I would find grateful would have to be that it's where I spend time with my daughter and my elderly father. So I'm really grateful for the items in it but the company. [libby2009]
Now that I've come back to the discussion I see my typo. Darn. If you were to ask me what would I save in the house, I would say nothing because material things can't help us. [libby2009]

My laptop is set up on the dining table and I have a drinks trolley alongside to hold my printer, phone and all my other necessary paraphernalia. I can see the tv from where I am. I'm grateful for the lovely warm fire and my cat....even though I would gladly wring his neck at times. I used to be set up in the spare room so I could see if anyone was coming to get me so I could give them fuel....but alas, we don't have fuel any more but at least now I can watch telly. [MsTickle]
Punch our buttons?...you betcha! If Banjo is not lying down on my hand with the mouse he is standing on the keyboard and managing to freeze my laptop or adjusting something I then have to figure out how to fix.lol [MsTickle]

I have my desktop in my bedroom. This is because Im the only one in my family that use the computer. My parents dont know how to use and they dont need it.Well, the two things I most grateful are the TV set and an opuntia. It bears two small flowers for the time being.I sometimes let the TV on and listen to the News while I surfing. [sweetyethot]
I usually listen to the TV also while I am online. Sometimes late at night all that is on is informercials so I will put on talk radio. [muscles4me]

When I first got my computer I had it in my formal living room. When I went to cable connection I also got cable for my TV at the same time I moved my computer to my family room. It was easier to have everything connected right in the same room. Now, I just have my internet connected with cable but my TV now is satellite. I guess I am grateful for having my computer and also for my TV. [sharlahodges]
The same you don't have to have telephone with the cable company either. Satelitte is better we think. There are more channels also. In fact when there are a bad storm we do not even lose our satelitte that much and I have always heard that you do. We do on occasion but not very much. [sharlahodges]

Hi muscles...My computer is in a little room off of my dining room. I choose this room because it allows for privacy and quiet and also make the computer accessible to other family members. My computer and desk are mostly the only things in the room other than some pictures of my children and grandchildren and a window that I can watch my birds out of. flutterby [flutterbykisses]
I am fortunate that I do not have to share my computer with anyone. I can see out a window from my computer also. [muscles4me]

I have my main computer in a corner in my bedroom and then I have a laptop computer that I use in the front room when I sit on my couch. I can watch tv this way which is kind of cool. wink Have a great day and happy myLotting!!! happy [schulzie]

My computer is at the back end of the living room next to the back garden/yard picture windows. It is a huge living room that goes all the length of the house. It is somewhat private because if you are sitting at the front picture windows of the living room you can not see the screen. I picked the location, seemed like the perfect place and this spot was chosen before anything else in the room was placed or even moved for that matter. It is also easily accessible so if Hubby should want to use the computer he can very easily. I am grateful for the lovely picture window that looks out into the back garden/yard and the lamp, that looks like an oil burning lamp, located at on the top of the computer desk. It has a soft light so when it is dark and I want to use the computer is is nice and gentle on my eyes. ninja [greeneyedlady]
It seems like many people have a window view from their computer. In a way it good if we look away from the computer screen at least every 20 minutes for a minute or two. Thanks for replying and happy mylotting. [muscles4me]

My computer is in my living room. Easy to keep an eye on my 6 year old that way. My two things are my daughter and my son. They are in the room. And there is nothing I am more grateful for than them and their health! [ersmommy1]
It is good to be keeping an eye on our kids as you know they can be the best kids in the world and still get into mischief. [muscles4me]

I have a spare room and that is where my home computer is. I have a TV and a telephone in this room. No, I did not pick it for privacy it is the only place I have to put the computer. [happy6162]
Well even though it is the on place it sounds like a good place to me. Maybe all you should add is a small mini refrigerator for a few cold drinks. [muscles4me]

I have my lap top in my bedroom. I am the onky one who uses her. The two things I am grateful are my T.v., I have digital cable, and my ceiling fan. My room is the warmest room in the house so the fan comes in handy. [sarahruthbeth22]
Mine is not exactly above the bed but it is close. [sarahruthbeth22]

lol very cute. i have my laptop stationed in my "livingroom" as i live with son and his gf. so, they have their own pc and i have mine in one of my 2 rooms. now i have my tv right in front of me where i can do this and also watch tv. the other thing i like in here is my couch i bought myself. in case i want to lay down instead of being on the pc and just watch tv without having to go to bed in my bedroom. [bunnybon7]
Your two rooms sound so cozy and private. I desperatly need a new couch but I need the junkman to haul away alot of my worn out stuff first. [muscles4me]

Well first I am in my living room... and that is for the convenience for the family to use the computer when they need to and because there is no other place in our very small house to fit it... LOL 2 thins I am greatful for in this room, well the room is in progress and I have to say that since we started working on 2 other places in our house this room is detroyed so I cant see much of it past all the piles of stuff that needs to be put away...LOL happy mylotting. [bookreadermom08]
I think the living room is a good choice. I have a living room and dining room combo but use it as all living room and that is where I have my computer. That way I can hear if there is someone at the door and also look out the window. [muscles4me]

I have a laptop so wherever I go that is where my computer is! lol [soyporteno]

My home PC is the living room. And as you asked to look around the things I am greatful for is My mobile and a laptop. [airakumar]
So does that mean you only have a mobile phone or do you also have a home phone? [muscles4me]

I don't have a home computer because I stay in a different place during work days and only come home during the weekends. I do have a laptop and I keep it with me most of the time, sometimes I'd let my boyfriend hold it when I don't need it because his home is safer than the house I stay in. I basically only have a room all for myself :) As for the home computer in back in the province, it's near the dining area. I'm grateful for the wide space behind the chair because it assures me that I'd know if someone we're peeking behind my back to see what I was doing on the pc. I'm also grateful that it's so near to the food place :D Thanks for the response on my discussion :) [oyenkai]

My computer is in the dining room of my house. It is a very good place as there are no strangers to see my computer.Previously we had the computer in the hall and people from outside used to see what we are doing on the computer. Also the television was there next to the computer. We could not put on both the tv and computer simultaneously.sadsad [vicky30]
Well now that your computer is in a more convenient place you are probably using it more often. Thats good. [muscles4me]

I'm placing my computer in my bedroom just near near the bed... The reason i do that because my computer always switched on 16hour a day except friday and saturday. I'm a home online worker. So i just place my computer as near as i could to reach lol [Bloggership]
WOW, with havng it on 16 hours a day and working 5 days a week I am sure you need a break on Friday and Saturday. I am also surprised that you enjoy using the computer in your spare time and want to do mylotting, but I am glad you do and thanks for the response. Good for you! [muscles4me]

Hi muscles4me, I usually would place my laptop on the table in the sitting room in daytime. I like to surf net in my bedroom after having dinner. It's going to be 11.30 pm in my place. Of course I'm enjoying watching the music show on the tv just in front of me now. lol I'm doing mylot post at the same time. The weather here is rather hot and the ceiling fan is serving its purpose well as usual. Happy posting happy [lkbooi]
Hi lk, Its nice that you can move around with the laptop and yes those ceiling fan do work very well don't they? [muscles4me]

my computer is a laptop, so it travels with me from room to room. this allows for instant privacy when I so desire. [user316]

I was just given an iBookG4 laptop and can take it wherever I wanna. Muahahha! I feel so free. Anyway, it's on my bed on top of a tray table so it doesn't overheat. Two things I'm thankful for are #1-My Teddy Bear and #2 My Cough drops. [coffeegurl]

Right now my computer lap top is in the living room. The computer is not used by any other family members. I can take the laptop into any room that i desire. In the living room at this moment, two things that I am grateful for is my small dog whom I love very very much and for my sewing machine, so I can make her all sorts of funky cloths. [EvrWonder]

My desktop is in the upstairs room that is turning into an office and crafts room. My laptop is downstairs, because I have not got this room organized yet. I chose this room so it will be easier to say "we have a home office" and abide by working rules here, and I feel that it is easier for me to quit and go to bed, because the bedroom is just down the hall. Two things I am grateful for: The abundance of stuff in my life. I need to organize it, but it is certainly there in abundance. The second thing is for the beauty of some Antique vases that were my mom's. One especially brings back memories that are over fifty years old. I also wanted to tell you that I have evidently not been getting notified of your discussions. [GardenGerty]
