I often to listen to music while browsing the net. I listen to music while here on myLot. I would even go to those PTC sites that I'm a member of while listening to music and waiting for certain pages to load up on tabs here in myLot.
What else do you do while here on myLot while infront of your computer?

I usually multi-task also while in the computer especially when myLotting. I listen to music, arrange files, read emails, chat online in YM, browse and maximize also by going to PTC sites and while waiting for them to uplaod, go to different tabs. Well other than that, when there is a phone call, I take that also and when hungry, I eat in front of the PC. I also print... whatelse? well I guess thats really multi- tasking. LOL [gabrielle47]

While Im on the computer, I am also watching television. Most of the time, I feel bored when I am typing and clicking on the computer alone. I always shift from doing one thing to another or doing things at the same time. Just like now, while Im typing, I am also playing with my daughter. And watching television at the same time. Hmm, when watching television, I'd just swivel my chair to my right and I have a clear view of our television. I also get into situations like that, being slightly bored so I take my attention to something else until I get motivated again to continue what it was that I was earlier doing. I am such a multi-tasker.I feel strange when online and only doing one thing. I am not a big phone person but I do love to be typing away as I am talking. Some say it is rude but most do not care as they are doing the same thing. My television isn't on too much lately but 9 out of 10 times that it is I am doing something at the computer while watching tv. I also am very good at folding clothes and checking what it going on online at the same time. I used to have at least 10 PTR/PTC sites open at a time while chatting on yahoo and in at least one forum but I got bored wit those programs so now I just chat on yahoo and in forums at the same time. You will notice when I am chatting in too many programs when I start making stupid typos like the word car when I mean cop. [razcal2267]
Wow, that's quite impressive. When I talk, I usually type the words that I'm saying. I can't talk to someone straight in the house while chatting with someone on the computer or typing posts and responses blush I could only go to two PTC sites at the moment and I'm even getting more tired than usual. Things I usually do while on the computer consist of listening to music, doing homework, writing essays (a little at a time between my fun), and watching television. I multi-task, sure. I listen to music while reading articles on certain websites/blogging/myLOTting, I also tend to watch movies "simultaneously" (sometimes, there's one playing on my DVD-ROM, while I'm waiting for Crunchyroll or Veoh to load). [hitomikanzaki]

Do you also use the short-cut keys on the keyboard so that you wouldn't always be clicking windows with the mouse? Do you shuffle your window viewing with Alt+Tab? You can add Shift whenever you want to shuffle backwards too. happy Which web browser do you use by the way? I am almost always on the computer I am either working on blogs or novel for money, or in related projects. I currently answer myLot space in between bursts of writing or coding. You might call that what I am doing while I am not working on the computer. I seldom listen to music while I write, for the simple fact I can only concentrate on so many things at once and unless a song has some sort of deep connection to what I am writing, it really interferes with what I am writing. TV is also out for the same reasons, unless I am actively blogging what is on the screen like Idol. I often blog on short films so you might say I do that as work rather than escaping from work as well. [bradhart]

As for me, I prefer doing that while I'm reading online manga or posting in my online RPG site, or searching something I need for an assignment or paper. Yep I do multi tasking but not all the time. but a few windows would be opened. Sometimes when I do the cooking, when the soup or the meat needs to be boiled in low heat for 15 minutes to 1/2 an hour, I would leave it to boil and I would come back to the pc. [eagle_f15]
Yeah, I often do that too since I also have things to do while I'm on the computer. I often suddenly get called to go and do errands and whenever I'm back, probably one of my brothers or sisters have already opened a new window in the computer where they'd be doing their own multi-tasking session. Documentary films for instance when I get to read good or interesting reviews about it. My dad reads online newpapers and I kind'a miss those days when he'd tell me to buy one for him.. we ended up with piles of newpapers and my brother and I packed them up and made a few bucks at the junk shop with it [ratyz5]

See that you are getting active with a few posts.. Listening to music is something convenient to do with computers with speakers if not using head sets for solo music trippin'. At the moment I am talking to friends on AIM and MSN as well as listening to music on Windows Media Player. I am also getting dressed and planning on typing up some notes for my studies (Economics) while on mylot too. I like to multi-task I feel more productive. While I am on the computer I am also taking care of my 5 month old daughter. I make her bottles and change her diaper when she needs it and she plays beside me in her bouncer or her playpin. She is a very good baby actually. I also listen to music or watch TV when I need a break from MyLot or MySpace. Sometimes I eat while i'm on the computer or finish up some poetry. It all depends on what my mood is. Sometimes my husband takes care of Ally and I just post on MyLot for the majority of the day and don't do anything else. [leatherandlatex]
Mothers are already multi-tasking at home when it comes to keeping the house, preparing a good meal, taking care of the children and so on related to the house, its amazing how you can also fit in computer routines within the already routined responsibility at home [ratyz5]

Listening to the radio than on a playlist of songs does stir our ideas that can really be interesting to post here on myLot. Seems that's one of the advantages of what Radios have over music players with no DJs lol I use to do those PTCs but the recent one I was a member of suddenly had its site down. No notification through email was ever given so I think I'll cease with that and just continue here on myLot since I had earned here before compared to those PTCs. But, don't get me wrong, there are still reliable PTC sites out there and my luck just happens to be leading me to those that just suprisingly get odd when I'm about to cash out. I would be doing the same thing, if only the instant messenger installed on our desktop would function properly. It doesn't help at all and I think its just consuming memory space for our computer but, there are occasions that it would let us log in and get connected, other times, it would just suddenly log us out while in the middle of a conversation with someone doh Music from a self-compiles playlist of random music from a radio? Usually, I listen to music, surf the web, and write. I used to do my homework while on the computer, but I found it distracting, and my grades were starting to slip up. So now, I finish all of my homework before using the computer. But I still listen to music while doing my homework. [Deceptakhan]

Downloading more ebooks? I agree, they don't cost us anything. I just wish I can stare long at our monitor especially when the ebook is so interesting to read. nope, i only have normal computer. you just click alt + tab and you can minimize the whole screen of RAN and you can do anything else besides playing it. [bullyvirgil]

I really find it addictive. I get more active here than on my accounts on any other sites that I have joined. Earning on sides as well gets you motivated, for me that is when I first got my pay here.. already had my third pay out from this site last week... just have to get a bank account where I could transfer these earning to.. We just have to put more quality on my post most of the time. :) Its easy when the topics are interesting enough to have us pouring our opinions out.. then again, I really hate it when after typing a lot of details, and you click on the 'post' and it won't push through so I end up copying the whole post on a notepad before clicking onwards ^__^ [ratyz5]

You edit your own films or you edit films that you put into certain media storage or simply edit movies? Sorry, I'm not really that knowledgeable with how certain movies or videos are edited... the closest that I had made with editing videos was on cutting them in half to upload them on youtube happy [ratyz5]

Those paid survey sites have registration fees while you sign up? That's not weird, other members here also do it. Our television at home is place elsewhere and away from the computer so I can't really do that happy [ratyz5]
